I'm can't imagine the he or someone in her past has not told her that her party girl ways are a turn off. I think he didn't want to go into it on camera with the experts because he thought it would embarrass her, but I do think/hope he told her off camera. This is the outcome many of us predicted as soon as she said that she was in her late 20s and had never been on a serious relationship (I think she said she's never had a 2nd date even) and was constantly ghosted. I think Emily knows why this happens, she just isn't interested in changing. The dating world is horrid.... but not that horrid. Generally attractive, social, and stable women can find someone to date more than twice.

I think I’m finally coming around on Alyssa. Which means she’ll probably leave the show. 🙂 While I agree with Sunny on Nikki Haley (can’t get past the pandering to white supremists), I did appreciate Alyssa’s rationale for supporting her. She’s gotten a lot better at expressing nuance with her arguments. I also agreed with her on the Simone Biles discussion over the other ladies.

She had a similar personality on her season. A tad overly confident. But then the house turned into a mob of meanies against her for no real reason and the viewership sympathized with her.

I think Taylor took a calculated risk in not putting up X. It really does depend on how strongly she thought the all girls alliance would have been. If she put up X and Josh and X wins, then he's still in the competition but no longer an ally. Meanwhile Nicole Britney and Frankie will likely target her and X. But there was a chance she could convince the girls to target Frankie/X If she put up X and Josh wins, Josh would still work with her. But they probably wouldn't be able to beat Frankie. Also the chances of Josh beating X was small. Britany/Nicole might target her and Josh or maybe Josh/Frankie. If she puts up Nicole and Josh wins - would be her ideal situation. She would have 2 allies to get Frankie. Britany would be more likely to target X/Josh/Frankie than her. If she puts up Nicole and Nicole wins was the risk she took. She still has X as an ally. She's still in the same scenario as point one. But it's less likely that she convince the girls to target Frankie/X. So it comes down to which alliance she felt was most likely to keep her safe.

That's a fair critique. But what I also see, is a lot of hate when guests/cohosts make references to her career or mention how much her work has meant to them personally or professionally. Whoopi isn't fishing for this, and usually looks humbled or uncomfortable about. It. Whoopi has had a legendary career. And I'm glad to see people giving her her flowers now.

I'm usually not a fan of the garage sales at the end of the show, but I enjoyed today's toy segment. From Alyssa and Sunny it the bubble ball suits to Whoopi and Sarah recreating the Ghost scene with the pottery wheel. Thoroughly entertained and the ladies looked like they had a ball 😃

Must be engagement season. Yvette Nicole Brown announced her engagement on the show today.

Cha Cha was robbed!....LOL. Her jumping into her carrier on command looked like the best trick.

He said he didn't want to tell her why he wasn't attracted. And if the shoe was on the other foot (she wasn't attracted to him) he wouldn't want to know why. As he already has said he found her physically attractive, I'm leaning in that his lack of attraction has to do with her personality. I think he prefers a more "classy" reserved woman. Emily did previously say that they shared similar core and political beliefs. And I took that to mean conservative. I can see a conservative guy expecting a woman who's never been in a serious relationship to have a limited number of sexual partners. So Emily pushing intimacy so quickly is likely a turn off.

I don't think they can. Private universities still receive federal funding, so I think it would still be subject similar rules as public universities. I also doubt that a liberal arts private school would want to limit free speech (even hate speech). It's somewhat of a slippery slope, as reasonable people can disagree on what is hate speech. I don't remember if the example the ladies discussed actually occurred on the college campus, or was it social media posting of a student of the college.

And what Whoopi and Sunny didn't say as strongly as they could have, Is that similar hateful things are said about minorities and LGBTQ on college campuses all the time, and that too is protected. One of them tried to make that point to Allyssa when discussing the difference between hanging a noose in a public space vs hanging a noose on a specific person's door. One is protected speech the other is a direct threat. But Alyssa seemed to be intent on a gotcha moment instead of realizing her own hypocrisy.

I think he said he was half Navajo and half another Native American tribe (maybe Sioux). Same pre wedding episode where he said he doesn’t date Native American women.

Yet he said doesn't date Native American women.... That being the case, surely there's been other partners that have said something racially offensive or ignorant to him. Does he just cut everyone off that offends him? Something isn't adding up. Hopefully this Lauren/Orion show overload indicates that they really do split early. Much like the season with the "I'm a Good Person" and her partner. It was that couple nonstop the first 3-4 episodes and once the split, the show focused on the other couples.

But there a lot of viewers who feel exactly like she does on these topics. Whoopi helps us feel seen 🙂. I personally don't want her to pretend she understands or is interested in topics geared to a younger pop culture demographic. Women of a certain age just aren't interested in who's dating who....

On Afterparty Orion mentioned a production assistant had him take a break from the redskin conversation, and he ended up needing a 2.5 hour break. I’m wondering if this is the same PA implicated in the Lauren rumors. I can kinda see how she might bond with a PA in that scenario especially if the PA took her side.

I’m sure Lauren and Orion would love not to have to have these conversations as well 🙂. But for many interracial couples they are necessary. Just like it was necessary for pink hair girl to have the conversation about her health with brawny paper towel dude. I appreciate hearing both conversations. Both are important dynamics to their relationship journey

I listened to Whoopi's statement and I didn't take away that she believed anti-biotics cured her endometriosis. Although I can see why people might have inferred that. I took her to say that was that she had a UTI that led to other infections, and somewhere during the course of treatment for those conditions it was also discovered that she also had endometriosis. In typical Whoopi fashion this was not said in the most eloquent or sensical way. But I'm pretty sure Whoopi realizes that antibiotics does not cure endo. I think she was referencing the scripture, faith without works is dead. But the sentiment is the same. You have to do more than just pray/believe. You have to do the work

I watched the 20/20 story on this last Friday. It was pretty good and answers a lot of questions, but not everything. She was given away before they were killed. Per the story the adopted dad told, one of the ladies in white said she was the mother. She wanted him and his wife to raise the baby. The parents signed away the parental rights in order for them to adopt. He and his wife had 1 kid already, and were unsuccessful trying to conceive again. So they took the baby. I don't think the police or social services were involved. it was also the 70s and times were different.

Based on what I've heard on previous seasons the first batch of After Party's are recorded before decision day.

Cirie made it to final 5 despite everyone knowing she has a strong social game, and despite never winning HOH or Veto. I think her strategic game was fine, she influenced a lot of the the loud strategic players, so they were voted out instead of her. No one left in the house has a great strategic game. Her fatal flaw to me was not winning the DE HOH and voting out Jag. If she had, she likely would have been able to ride with Matt to the end.

I didn't take it that way. I understood her to mean that this is the first time where the Palestinian POV was included in multiple main stream media discussions of what is going on there.

She has said on the show that she takes Ozempic (for her type 2 diabetes 🙂)

They are really struggling for guests. That Julia Fox interview was odd. Didn't need to learn about the particulars of wearing latex. And they gave her 2 segments?.... They couldn't find any reddit advice column topics?

I took it to mean she takes off the heavy TV makeup right after the show. Not that she goes make up free outside the show. Even Allysa refenced that the make up they wear on the show was not was typical women are wearing everyday. It's very possible that she wears normal lady levels of make up outside of the show and that both statements could be true.
