  1. I agree. I was waiting for a reason, for a reveal, and nothing. Never an explanation. Was it just a storyline to show cracks in the marriage? If so, it was not well done.
  2. And Billie's expression of perpetual shock. Not a health hazard, just annoying.
  3. Seriously. She owns a gallery, but she doesn't recognize the difference between the size of the nail that you use to hang a picture (the small nail fits through a small hole in the hanger part of it) and the size of that huge nail she was using?
  4. This is it, exactly! So much strategizing. It must be exhausting dealing with so many personalities (not to mention so many children) in these setups. Also, Jakira (sp.) saying she sees polygamy as just like monogamy. Uh, how so, J? How so?
  5. I can't imagine this Freedom Wand working. You just wouldn't be able to wipe the right way. Not enough pressure, you know? And what if you're on the road and have to drop a deuce? Do you carry a wand in your purse, always, just in case? And what about the guys? I clearly am thinking about this waaay too much.
  6. Has anyone else noticed the unfortunate habit Dorit has of moving her tongue up between her upper lip and teeth and then down? Very unattractive, and it reminds me of some kind of animal, though I can't figure out which!
  7. Jax: "And I'm a strong swimmer." Look, Jax. We all saw you swim. You are not a strong swimmer. And I'm not even talking about altitude. His form? Uh, no, sir. I know who she thinks she is! She recently revealed that she believes Tupac Shakur's soul took over her body when he died. The People article: http://people.com/tv/lala-kent-says-tupac-took-over-her-body/
  8. Did anyone else notice Jackie's awkward-in-heels walk across the street when she left the gallery? Very odd!
  9. I agree. Like, in front of the hotel, "It's so expansive!" (adds flourish here) Delightful. Also delightful was Todd and Tal's reaction to their room. They were so pleased and thankful. That was great to see. I was happy for them.
  10. Hi Gem! I'm still here. I just didn't have much to say about the last episode. Except maybe that I enjoyed Molly Shannon's tumble down the stairs a little too much. I find her grating. Also, I find the new painter storyline dull. I'm hoping something happens to jazz it up.
  11. Right! When I was a kid, we called that experience "going to the beach."
  12. I have noticed that Ashley often looks down her nose. And looks like something smells bad to her.
  13. OMG. I noticed that, too! It's an epidemic in the polygamist community!
  14. Even in the 2002 video, the back roll isn't particularly graceful, especially because there's not much fluidity in her movements.
  15. Siggy quits! https://pagesix.com/2017/12/22/siggy-flicker-quits-rhonj/?_ga=2.122428107.1597963119.1513791882-1051957117.1513791882
  16. That was the line of the night, for me, Sweetie. Hilarious!
  17. I think those boobs looked especially old to Jen, who bought her boobs just a couple of years ago.
  18. So many good, kind people in this episode: The uncle, the aunt, Letty. And the setting was beautiful and tranquil. The aunt was so sweet to the older child. "Have your moment." Sometimes people treat you better than you deserve. Duke seems to be the only sensitive one, truly sensitive one, in the immediate family. If this were real life, the aunt and uncle could provide escape and solace when she needs it, as she grows. It would be a wonderful getaway for her, with people who can really feel, talk, and express.
  19. Peggy to doctor: Can you just do what you can to make her feel better? Doctor: Well, yes. That's actually what my 8 years of medical education and 10-plus years of experience in the field have taught me to do...but I thank you so much for your guidance.
  20. Did supposed UCLA English major Peggy say something like, "I'm not eating no shark"?
  21. I think I would be creeped out if my boyfriend of a year told me, "I love you so much it hurts." Now, if my father said the same thing? Sooooo creepy! I think the dad fears Jamie and Blair moving out because once they see the outside world, they might realize how very effed up their family of origin is. Like a cult. The FLDS limits outside info, no Internet, no TV, no outside newspapers or news of any kind. Papa Putman seems to be creating the same kind of outsider-free environment, except for a couple of random neighbors, and I'm not convinced they're not plants. Papa Smurf Putman also said something very angrily, and it was telling. It was something like, the only thing Jamie has to gain from a fellowship in another state is being able to practice as an OB/GYN in a metropolitan area, like Detroit, and this ain't Detroit! All of this is completely, totally, up to Jamie and Blair. If Jamie wants to be able to practice in a big city, so be it. Sheesh!
