  1. I haven't seen IM3 since it came out...which is why I kept choosing it as something I'd watch right now since it's been so long since I've seen it. The rest pretty much tracks (I can't stand the GOTG movies).
  2. AoU suffered from DCEU-itis. They tried to do too much in one movie. Introducing Ultron, Vision, Wanda and Pietro in the span of 2 and a half hours was an insane undertaking. Ultron alone needed a single movie just to establish his creation (and I'll always hate that this story and the weird twisted Pym family dynasty will never see the big screen). In retrospect I appreciate that it wasn't great because it just made IW and Endgame look that much better.
  3. Ah so this is what Amazing Amy has been up to. It tracks. But again, where was the humor? I found the movie entertaining but none of it made me laugh. And I can laugh at dark topics. The most humorous part was how little Marla cared about her mother or her own death. I was glad that Fran didn't die in order to further the plot (thanks for avoiding both fridging and the dead lesbian trope (until the end I suppose)). Speaking of Fran, she's going to be a very wealthy widow, good job securing the bag. I was actually more into the movie when I thought Dianne Weist's Jennifer was going to be the first person able to go toe-to-toe with Marla. I wanted to see her meet her equal in this senior citizen. But most movies/TV shows tend to lose me when they introduce the mafia and guns.
  4. Plus it's easier to be toxic when your entire cast isn't full of already famous people. Notice how Ray Fischer is the one actor speaking out against him from JL, he was the only one without an established career. Oh no Wandavision is turning me into a simp for Wanda but I have to say she's clearly dealing with some severe mental issues and trauma. She spent two years happily ensconced with Vision not bothering anybody. I'd hardly call her an out and out villain even with the little info we have about how she ended up where she is.
  5. New Falcon and Winter Soldier trailer (I'm sure they have their own forum but thought people here might be interested):
  6. Why did Vision saying "I'm scared" get me so emotional? 13 years ago he was just a voice. Wow this episode completely bowled me over.
  7. Some of you should catch up on Wandavision! I think that's a little unfair. We mostly got the reaction of teenagers and they can write off most things in a meme these days.
  8. Well the woman he was allegedly with denied it.
  9. But I don't want Deadpool's stupid versions of Colossus, Domino and Cable. Sigh.
  10. The new Legends show on Disney+ is just glorified fanvids of Wanda and Vision's best MCU moments. Not worth the watch if you're already familiar with the characters.
  11. It's really sad that Jenkins laughed at the very valid criticism of the body possession plot (it was most certainly not a body swap, where did this man's consciousness goes? No one seems to care.). And just because the sex was eradicated does not mean Diana didn't choose to use this man's body. We saw it happen.
  12. Dan Murrell did a deep dive into hows and whys the movie's review score dropped like a rock. Thought it was pretty interesting.
  13. The whole movie was regressive. From the non-consent of the body that Steve took over to Diana and Barbara's wishes boiling down to "I want my boyfriend back" and "Make me hot like my friend" (Barbara didn't become more confident, she just dressed better and then she went crazy).
  14. I really wonder (no pun intended) what's going on at Warner Bros. that they greenlit this...the plot is both too complicated and too simplistic to carry a movie.
  15. I think Andrew is worse but I just don't like his capital "A" acting. I don't disagree with anything else you said. So lame duck fight imo!
  16. I was speaking of Spider-Man 2, didn't word it properly.
  17. I spoke it into existence. The best Spider-Man film and the franchise's best villain? I couldn't be happier. Now announce Willen Dafoe!
  18. Unofficial official confirmation of Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop. https://www.instagram.com/p/CIT_ayHlYHt/
  19. Apparently it DOES take a lot of money to look that cheap.
  20. Does anyone have any idea what the season 16 finale was originally? Because what they gave us was pretty great and I couldn't see anything in this premiere that would serve as a season finale (besides seeing Derek which was clearly planned afterward).
  21. This is only interesting from a BTS perspective because Grey's does this a lot...characters routinely see dead people when they're on the brink of death. It sounds like they (Ellen, Patrick, the show) put a lot of shit in the past in order to make this work, not only to give fans something fun to watch (and scream at their television about) but also to promote Patrick's cancer foundation. It's a win/win for everyone.
