  1. LOL I've been over This Is Us mysteries since the "How did Jack die" mystery.
  2. I think that defeats the purpose though. If Zoe has changed her mind about being a mother, why not have her own baby? Unless of course you are suggesting Kevin has the child then he and Zoe rekindle their relationship. I'm not seeing Nicky being in the room means he and Rebecca became an item. It's Kevin's house and he is the one who wanted to help Nicky. Maybe he's staying with Kevin and sitting by Rebecca's bedside, presumably in her last stage of life isn't surprising at all.
  3. Because the makeup crew haven't decided how to age Kevin yet.
  4. This thought is creepy to me.
  5. Zoe is younger than Kevin. She's younger than Beth who is the same age as Randall/Kevin.
  6. I could see that.
  7. And that's just the kind of thing this show pulls. It was telegraphed that Randall and Beth were divorced/separated yet here we are. I'm not falling for it being Zoe though because I'm just not. But I don't think Kevin got back with Sophie either. Maybe Kevin adopted the kid and is a single parent.
  8. I knew Beth and Randall were still together. I knew it.
  9. Well we know from Miguel himself that he's willing to stand since the Pearsons don't give him a seat at the table. I really wish they had let Rebecca remain single because it's so clear that Jack is still #1 even with Miguel right there.
  10. I agree it’s not necessarily proof. I just think they are still married because it appears they are divorced/separated and the ring appears to have been missed by viewers. I did think like @Katy M said that Randall could have refused to take off his ring (especially given teen Randall’s ignoring teen Beth’s don’t call me again and proclaiming he’s marrying her) but the “evidence” imo is leaning heavily toward them being divorced. If I am not mistaken, we will find out their fate in the finale and I will be glad 😂
  11. Randall is wearing his wedding ring, Toby however isn’t.
  12. Popping in to say I binged season one right before season 2 and decided to put it on the DVR. I am traumatized seeing Matt Saracen, QB 1 for the Dillon Panthers, Seven, Matt Freaking Saracen cheating on his pregnant wife. Matt The Adulterer Saracen ... what has the world come to?
  13. Kevin is left out once again 😞 j/k 😉
  14. See, I was never under the impression that Beth and Zoe didn't always get along. In Beth's episode kid B & Z appeared ok as well as teen B & Z. And the ride to Mama C's plus their talk in the laundry room showed how close they were. Not sure why they chose not to use adult Zoe when all the other adult were on the scene. I wonder when Beth found out about Randall's anxiety attacks. I wonder if that is one reason she's been so accommodating with him. She doesn't or didn't want rock the boat. She asked Kevin when he was getting out. She confronted William about his motives. She made him tell her about his and Rebecca's past encounter. She boldly confronted Rebecca about her lie about William. She got into with Kate over the "you took my brother from me" or however Kate put it. She confronted Zoe about dating Kevin. She made her case to her boss when she was fired. I think "that" Beth is still here but she had gotten into the habit of coddling/bending for Randall because of his anxiety and she has finally broken. As someone has mentioned, I want to know how Beth went from not wanting to see him again to dating him.
  15. Kate didn’t have a bridal party or maid of honor. Beth was on the front row and Madison was on the second. Yes I have watched Kate’s wedding a lot 😂
  16. Can I marry this? I don't care if our first date is horrible. I'm going back to my dorm and telling my roommate THIS is who I'm marrying LOL I think this is the best breakdown of the 2 comments I've seen so far.
  17. I'm still salty over that! That being Kate being Maid of Honor. And now that I think about it, why was it Kate coming to get Beth instead of Beth's sister/Zoe? Yes the exchange between Kate and Kevin was cute/funny but Kate was so out of place it's ridiculous.
  18. You are right. Randall told William he paid for the car in cash and Kevin made a snarky remark about that in Kate and Toby's wedding episode. She has become my favorite teen.
  19. Here's a question. I wonder why Randall immediately thought Beth was ignoring his calls. Why didn't he think at some point, preferably, immediately that Beth was in an accident? When I call someone, mostly Mom and expect her to pick up, if she doesn't, my mind goes wild and I have to calm down. That's especially true when she's travelling on the road. I know it was done for drama but still it's glaring to me that he jumped to "Beth is ignoring me" instead of "OMG has something happened to Beth". He didn't give her the benefit of the doubt and so far I haven't seen a reason for him not to. He did. He was going to Morehouse I think but after Jack died, he stayed home because of Rebecca.
  20. I think Kevin had been divorced/separated from Sophie for 12 years in season 1. They were 36 in season 1 so Kevin and Sophie had been apart since they were 24. I think Beth and Randall were at least 25 (met @ 18, dated at least 7 years) when they married so that explains why Sophie wasn't there.
  21. I agree with this. She has agency but she's flawed, as am I, when it comes to being direct at times. In Our Little Island Girl, Zoe flat out said Beth lays down/clams up and Zoe wanted to know if Beth would be with her in telling Mama C she needed to retire. Beth was beating around the bush and Zoe came out and said they thought it was time for mama to retire.
  22. I can see this.
  23. Randall: I am killing driving to Philly back and forth everyday. If I'm lucky, I get a chance to catch the girls before they go to bed. If not, I'm stuck sleeping on a pull out in my office. I'm not even sworn in yet Beth and I'm already swamped Me: And? Who put a gun to your head and forced you to run for office in a city x hours away from home? Who Randall? Randall: but I still make it back for your dance recital and I still make it home to watch the girls every time you have an evening class. Me: The girls? Don't you mean YOUR girls? You aren't doing Beth a favor by "watching" YOUR girls any more than she's doing you a favor by "watching" her girls when you are off in Philly. OK, now I'll go to the corner and take a breath, a deep breath.
  24. I have no problem with Rebecca moving to help Kate either. What is ironic to me is Randall stayed because Rebecca "needed" him. Now that Randall "needs" Rebecca, she's hightailing it outta there. Of course she going to help Kate, though I'm not sure why there is a need to move instead of making it an extended visit, but the irony for me is still there.
  25. YES!!! Randall may be her favorite but Rebecca was grossly unfair to Randall. I remember after Jack died, there's a scene with Randall paying the bills or reminding Rebecca it was time to pay bills. And now we see that 9 years later, he's so attached to her that he's bringing Rebecca on his date with Beth. No way no how should Rebecca have allowed Randall to stay in Pittsburgh when his plan was to go to Morehouse (?) Rebecca was far too dependent on Randall.
