  1. Yep, although I was waiting for “And now you will join your child in death!” followed by ray beams from the ceiling.
  2. Unfortunately it doesn’t. I posted on that very point with S3e1.
  3. Clearly they have not read the Evil Overlord List. I thought that the Evil Overlord List requires monologuing?
  4. So not when walking, or when standing full body, or when fighting. Just when emoting, and only when shot from the waist up. Got it. “Not Hayden… not Hayden… not Hayden… Hayden! Not Hayden…” And weakened! So yeah, dumb.
  5. I think we’re supposed to conclude that Obi-Wan just knew that Vader would keep the (automated) ship from leaving, and then he would be so tuckered out that he wouldn’t be able to pull the real ship back. I think.
  6. Yeah really, just cut open a freaking doorway! It was the special Eeeeeevil model restraining bolt.
  7. That’s not him in the costume. https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/ustv/a40227276/obi-wan-kenobi-darth-vader-hayden-christensen/
  8. There were plenty of extras in the reception scene.
  9. NFS! NFS! NFS! Not to mention you don’t lean over them and breathe in whatever they’re exuding. As someone above said, overall this episode fizzled. I mean, fun episode for Halloween, but 3 SMH in one episode equals bad writing.
  10. I missed this, when did Vader see her? How can two Rebel spacecraft approach this base completely undetected? Imperial officer cap = Clark Kent glasses!
  11. Ah ok, thanks. So how is casting a force field breaking the rules?
  12. 1. Agreed. We’re supposed to believe that Una engaged the shields, just so they could walk out in their uniforms, instead of putting on space suits like the ensigns were doing? 2. We’re also supposed to believe that when shields are engaged, there’s a breathable atmosphere inside them? Why not just put them in space suits and go out the airlock?
  13. Exactly! The pod should have had a long-handled wrench or something, for those situations.
  14. - Engineering now has a Galaxy Quest beryllium sphere! - Anyone else noticed that Isaac’s costume has changed?
  15. Not to mention we apparently needed Bortus to help us count to 3 🙄
  16. I rewatched the last few S2 episodes that involved Isaac. This resentment should have been in those, but it’s like “all was forgiven”. Isaac was even at Yaphit’s ceremony when he got the sapphire star! Really inconsistent.
  17. Same… they don’t have training grounds in space for these kinds of test runs??
  18. Who thinks Brenda is going to burst-confess about the night at the ER?
  19. I’m surprised germaphobic Sheldon let Missy and her unwashed hands anywhere near his pimple, instead of him applying massive amounts of benzoyl peroxide. His normal inclination is to defer to expertise.
  20. Linkletter and Sturgis yes, but the Dean is getting a little tiresome.
  21. Who the heck runs the laundromat when they’re gone? Especially the part in the back.
  22. So, still binging, still late to the party…but in this whole thread no one has commented on that holy-crap-one-continuous-shot opening? (anyone else notice the Star of David?) I yelped out loud when Midge’s beach ball nailed top-tier woman* 😆 Applause to camera crew and choreographers. *Looks like maybe a digital beach ball? Can’t imagine doing that whole setup and swim routine and camerawork, and then her kick goes wide.
  23. Very late to the party (finally getting around to slowly binging TMMM), but for those of you who remember this telethon episode: Either of these lines would have caused shock waves in a 1959 control room: -Sophie’s joke about screaming in the bedroom -Midge saying ‘Arthritis be damned’ More to the point, Sophie would have known that joke would not fly on television. Midge, well, her lack of reading an audience has already been documented. But back then, that line would have meant an immediate cut to the announcer saying Thanks folks this has been a great telethon. Waiting for Susie’s takedown of Sophie to boomerang. Again.
  24. The only thing she was endorsing is him having a margarita with his date.
  25. I think in BBT he regarded it as the ‘gourmet version’, that not everyone got to experience.
