Wow, Luke is almost pathetic when you see him next to Nick. I mean, he's like a child trying (and failing) to act like a tough guy and then you have Nick, who would do literally anything for June: betraying his country, killing those Eyes, giving her Fred etc. Luke is basically ineffective 100& of the time and Nick is someone you would definitely want in your team. I'm starting to believe that aunt Lydia might be the most interesting character this season or at least, the one with the most interesting storyline, I don't really care about Serena anymore and June... well, there's been little new about her lately. However, aunt Lydia seemed to be having some sort of epiphany and I think she's going to become some sort of wild card eventually. The marriage between Lawrence and Naomi is hilarious.

There are still a lot of interesting things in The Handmaid's Tale, but they can't be found in this episode. I guess we need to know more abouth Bethlehem, because what's the difference between the USA and Gilead if you lose most of the crazy laws that make Gilead Gilead? The lack of democracy?
-
I wasn't feeling the episode that much, but it got better -more interesting- once Serena was found out. The reactions of the other passangers and the security guard were understable and while I knew that Serena wasn't going to be killed there, I'm glad she felt terror. Her problem is that deep down she doesn't think Gilead is wrong. She would be happy in Gilead if she were the exception to all the rules and that's why she does things like forgetting about Hannah. in any case, her current situation isn't all that better. I mean, I don't know much about Canada, but I guess that being alone with a baby in the wilderness isn't exactly a walk in the park. And I teared up at the end, when June and her mum found each other. Wasn't expecting that and it was a nice twist.

Do you mean the younger version? I'd say he or she is created thanks to the substance, based on the genes of the older person.

Damn, I didn't know the season wasn't complete!! I hate this. Not really in love with this episode. The plan was bound to fail, and not just because they had a mole in their team. The shooting went for too long and well, now most of them are dead. Gin-hu should have been shot too, but I guess the boss wants him to suffer or something like that, How long will we have to wait for the second part?

It really was a blood bath. Jin-ho was particularly cold, with the way he broke that guy's neck. At the beginning of the episode I thought that perhaps he was going soft, but well... no, he's not. Last episode I wrote that the fact that the players could vote after each game was a way for the people in charge to feel "virtuous", but I now I realize that it was probably meant to cause problems and tensions between the two factions. I'm glad most of the games are new. This one was very intense!
-
I like the way everybody has to vote after each game because it makes it look like it's the players' fault. In a twisted way, the people working for the Games, 001 included, may think that they are being extremely fair. I'm still wondering why In-ho is playing this time. Perhaps the writers thought that younger characters would be more attractive to the audience, but imo, it would make more sense if most of the players were older. I have the feeling that the next game is going to be a blood bath.

There's something about the actor who plays In Ho that reminds me a lot of Mads Mikkelsen. Nice to see the games are different. I wonder what In Ho's intentions are, anyway. I mean, why is he taking part in the Games? The old man was dying and it made sort of sense that he wanted to participate, but In Ho seems to be fine and there were other ways to control Gi-hun. Loved this episode!

I think they were watching him all the time and they knew he was planning to do something anyway, I mean, I'm not surprised they checked for trackers. I literally gasped when I saw player 001's face, nice surprise! Also, it seems clear that the lady who worked in the amusement park knew exactly where she was going and it wasn't her first time in the games, The player with purple hair is worse than I thought when we first met him. And I'm surprised the workers let him keep his cross.
-
I didn't like this one as much as the first one, but it was interesting to see that they were recruiting workers too. Can't wait to see the games. I know the first one is still Green Light Red Light, but I wonder if the other ones will be different. I have the feeling that the ones we saw in the first season were tailored for the old man.
-
I enjoyed it. The ending was great, I wasn't sure what was going to happen. I also liked that we learnt more things about the recruiter and how he ended up doing what he did. (Not anymore, though). He was a very disturbed individual, but I guess you need to be if you're working for the Squid Game people.

Some people left the cinema throughout the movie. I'm pretty tough when it comes to gore, but I had to close my eyes when Harvey was eating prawns: those close shots of his mouth were disgusting! I really loved the movie. The story isn't exactly brand new, but I liked the way it was told. It vas visually stunning and disturbing at the same time and the story also had a lot of layers: for example, I like the fact that Elizabeth was at her happiest when she didn't have a body anymore. Both actresses did a great job and I'd be surprised if Demi doesn't get an Oscar nomination, Highly recommended unless you have a squeamish stomach!

Daemon used to be a fun character, but I find myself rolling my eyes every time he's on screen now. Hopefully this Harrenhal drama will stop now. Loved Seasmoke claiming his own rider, although there was no need to do the dirty on ser Steffyn like that, poor guy. If Rhaenyra doesn't kill Addam on sight, the Blacks will have a new dragon. On the other hand, I wonder why the Blacks can't make the dragons fight riderless, like Dany did. Remember? She rode Drogon, but Rhaego and Viserion obeyed her orders too. Poor Haelena, she doesn't deserve to find herself in the middle of things like riots and stuff. I'm glad she survived, though, because there was a moment that I thought she was going to die impalled by a spike in her back. I still don't care about the feet-lover and his sad story. Tyrion had it worse and he didn't become a cold, selfish monster.

I can't believe how upset I get over CGI creatures' deaths. I'm sorry we've lost Rhaenys as well, I liked her a lot. I guess Aegon isn't dead; otherwise, Aemond wouldn't have seen the need to finish him off. In any case, I don't think he'll be in a good shape. I didn't see if his dragon is alive too. Hope so, because he is/was super cute. I don't hate Alicent as much as I hate Aegon, Aemond and especially Criston "Oranges" Cole, but I was shaking my head so much when she drank the moon tea. Also, she was brutal to Aegon, wasn't she? After learning that she had misunderstood Viserys, it's like she couldn't stand the sight of Aegon (not that she liked him that much to begin with).

Aegon might be a fucking, evil idiot, but the people I hate the most in Team Green are Alicent and Cole. The hypocrisy! "Father, I have sinned" she says with tearful eyes. And five minutes later she's having sex with Cole! At least, when Rhaenyra was having sex with Cole or Strong she didn't give a fuck. And don't get me started with the oranges boy. He's scum and the twins are dead because of him. Also, do you think Cole knows that Alicent is whoring her feet to Lord Larys? Daemon is a dumbass, it's just I can't stay angry at him for too long. D'Arcy said that he was a boy pretending to be a man and I totally agree. I'm surprised he doesn't stomp his feet from time to time, I must say, I've enjoyed Otto's frustration at being surrounded by idiots. As many others, I have noticed that the relationships within Team Black seem to be healthier, generally speaking. Jace and Baela have a nice relationship, so did Jace and Luke, and Rhaenyra seems way closer to her children than Alicent. Of course the relationship between she and Daemon is a bit fucked up, but at least they're open with each other. Not gonna say anything about Aemond, except that he's delusional.

I read once that Japanese are shintoists in life and Buddhist in death (Christians aside, of course). I can't understand the mentions of White Saviours here. Blackthorne isn't one, not here, not in the original series and not in the book. He's one of Toranaga's birds of prey. Of course, westerners are supposed to learn about Japan through his eyes, since the book was written way before the Internet and the popularity of anime/manga and most people in the Western world would barely know anything about Japan, but that's all. Mariko was one of my favourite characters so I'm going to miss her.
-
I don't hate the actor who plays Blackthorne, but there's something about him that doesn't work for me. I think it's his body language, which reminds me of Philip of Edinburgh in The Crown. Also, he comes across as a boy, whereas Richard Chamberlain looked more mature. Speaking of boys, poor Nagakado! He really wasn't the sharpest katana in the drawer. I know Yabu is a bit problematic, but I can't help to like him. His expressions crack me up.

I enjoyed this. Not the most wonderful show ever, but good and entertaining enough. It was obvious that there was something off about the vaults, Hank etc, but I liked the twists and certainly I didn't expect Hank or the Ghoul 's wife to be such psychopaths. Also,I agree that the plan created by Vault Tech didn't make any sense because you're throwing away your chances of being immensely rich and ruling the facto a whole planet, like it's happening right now, for the possibility of ruling a way smaller world with 1% of the luxuries you would have had in a non-nuked world. Moldover must have spent some time frozen, I guess. I really liked Lucy and the Ghoul. Maximus is a hit or miss for me and I'm really, really glad Dogmeat survived. Honestly, you could tell the creators of the vaults were irremediably evil when we found out they had banned dogs.

Nice ending. This show is far from perfect but I wanna see the rest. I'm starting to warm up to the characters too, although I'm having a hard time remembering their names. @PurpleTentacle I agree with you about the alleged original pacifist intentions. If I remember correctly, by the time they found out about lying they were already messing up with the scientists.

Oh, wow, the destruction of the ship was very well-done! And the visuals at the end were great too. I'm enjoying the show, but the writing is a bit forgettable. I mean, lots of interesting things are happening, but the way the characters talk about them isn't exactly gripping. I don't blame the actors, who are mostly doing a great job, especially the older ones.

Lol, yes, I spoke too soon! 🤣🤣 Anyway, I loved the episode, and although Yen Wenjie took a big risk, I can understand the feelings behind her decision. And wow, her scene with the other girl, the one that killed her father! That was great.

This looks pretty cool, I honestly thought D&D would show titties just because, but they didn't. The special effects were cool too. Can't say if people who haven't read the books will like it, but the story deserves a good TV show, so I hope it'll be a success. Can't wait to see more of the video-game.

I didn't like parts of the episode, but everything Elizabeth-related was great and I loved it as a series finale, especially with the appearances of the younger Elizabeths, which was a nice touch. I also enjoyed it when she set Charles straight about Camilla being heroic. Like yes, she's obviously the love of his life and she's probably good for him, but Charles always has to take these things a step too far. Sometimes I think the show depicts Elizabeth as a very cold mother to Charles, but other times I understand why she would have so little patience with him. I agree that it was ambivalent about Charles, Harry and William, but I sort of understand it, because who knows what will happen and perhaps the show didn't want to risk a prediction that might become false in the future.

This was a bit on the boring side. I would say I'm not enjoying the way the show is portraying the Middletons. I like William and Kate IRL just fine, but I don't find them interesting here. Their dialogue is always bland. I understand, not everyone can be Margaret or even Philip, but c'mon. I did like the scenes with Elizabeth and William, though. They have a nice relationship.

Best episode of the season. It made me cry a little. Also, I loved the references to P.G. Wodehouse, he's one of my favourite writers. At some points I wondered if the actress playing young Elizabeth was Claire Foy de-aged through CGI!
