Best episode of the season. It made me cry a little. Also, I loved the references to P.G. Wodehouse, he's one of my favourite writers. At some points I wondered if the actress playing young Elizabeth was Claire Foy de-aged through CGI!
-
I didn't like the way they wrote Harry. It reminded me of the sidekick of the male character in every rom-com for teens; you know, the one who is always talking about girls and parties and mocking the main character for being too serious. Also, how old is he supposed to be? Fifteen? Sixteen at most? I teach kids that age and Harry didn't come across as realistic in the slightest. I liked Kate, although I didn't enjoy the way they depicted her mother. The Queen Mother is a riot and Margaret's exasperation made me chuckle. I think I prefer the characters from the older generations.

Lol, the beginning of this episode was hilarious! The rest wasn't exactly ground-breaking, but I enjoyed the parade of odd jobs and the difference between the Queen's speech and Blair's before the WI. It hasn't always been the case, but this time I think she was really "one of them", with lots of things in common, whereas he wasn't.

Loved Philip in this episode, didn't care that much about everything else. And I agree that it's weird to see Harry so little affected by his mother's death when William is angsting all over the place.
-
Yeah, definitely anti-climatic. I'm not very happy about Mai winning but I have to admit that she was clever. One of the boys should have gone first. I liked the little scenes with some players at the end.
-
Guess I want Phill to win, now. He aced the last game and he seems a good guy, all things considered. I'm meh about the other guy and I still dislike Mai. I wouldn't want that woman anywhere close to me. She's selfish, ruthless and a lying liar who lies. If you want to be evil, at least own it.
-
Wow, I hate Ashley! (278) I was very sorry to see Bee go because she was my favourite. At this point of the game I don't really care about the winner as long it's not Mai or Ashley because I don't like them.

I didn't like #5's move and I'm not sure she did the smart thing, since there's no way Trey is going to choose all the good spots. And when Trey fails, why would the others take a risk for her after this? I disliked the deaf girl's decision too.I mean, if she wants to give #1 to TJ (I finally learnt his name!) by all means, go ahead, but don't say you do it because you think he's a good leader. And I also hated that TJ gave #20 to Mei because I don't like her. Hope she doesn't win. Despite my complaints, I enjoyed the episode.

I can understand it, I have some male friends I would choose any time over a random girl I don't know, but not gonna lie, if the deaf girl breaks the chain I'm going to be a bit disappointed. At least my favourite player, the girl who knows about games, got chosen. However, if they have to cross a glass bridge following the same order, the first ones to be saved are going to be screwed. I liked the guy who was chosen as a captain but now I think he's a bit annoying. I'm sad the Mum got eliminated. I liked her and I'm glad she didn't throw the game just because she was playing against her son.
-
I was suspicious too. They knew the show would do something like this but I guess that the change in the last game, different from the original show, made them forget about the marbles. Any favourites? I really like the Mum and Son, but I also love the woman who knows so much about games. The one with blonde streaks. There's a black guy I like too but I don't remember his name or his number. Tall, handsome and very positive.

Yes, sorry, I meant the episode when we saw Philip as a boy.

I didn't remember that they were releasing only some episodes. Now I understand better why the show dealt with Diana's death so soon. It was interesting to see this episode as a big fan of "The Queen". Here, Blair had little to do with the Queen's change of mind and I wonder which version is closer to the truth. Philip telling William how to walk and how to deal with the situation broke my heart a little. The scene where he has to walk behind his family's coffins, surrounded by Nazi parafernalia, is one of the most powerful of the show visually speaking. There's an expression in Spanish, "montarse una película". It's very difficult to translate, but it is used when you misinterpret a situation because you let your imagination run wild and believe that something is happening when it's not. That's what I thought when Mou-Mou started to say that the tragedy would make him and BRF closer. Even if Diana had said yes to Dodi's proposal, she was divorced! William and Harry barely knew Dodi and at least in the show, they barely liked him. In what world would that making him closer to the Queen? Anyway, his grief for his son was real and I felt sorry for him. If it's true that he "forced" that trip to France, he might have felt guilty too. All in all, I liked these four episodes and I can't wait for the ending!

Wow. I wasn't expecting that so soon in the season! I'm curious about some of the things that were shown here although it was only the two of them. I guess his dad and her therapist have talked openly about it? Is it true that he proposed and she rejected him? I usually like Anne, but her advice to cheer William up made me roll my eyes. Even so, it seemed to work, so what do I know about royals' sensitivities? It's interesting that the film "The Queen" also used a buck as a symbol of Diana.
-
Do they know Mou-Mou orchestrated the whole thing, though? Not even Dodi knew about it. It really paints his father in a really bad light: he doesn't care about hurting Diana as long as he gets what he wants. I said it last season and I'll say it again: I'm not a Diana fan, but I'll always respect her work regarding landmines and AIDS patients. She was a brave woman. I've never heard of the Italian photographer that fancies himself so famous, but he's a vulture indeed, just like the others like him. In my opinion, this episode was more balanced than the last one. It still focused on D &D's relationship, but it was more than that.
-
Glad this show is back! It isn't the first time that they show the Queen paying more attention to her dogs than to her son. I don't know if that was true, and tbh,I don't know what to think. I mean, was she really that cold towards him? We never hear the same complaints coming from Anne, Andrew or Edward. I wonder if the show is really aware of Mou Mou's hypocrisy calling that woman a gold-digger while he's desperately trying to hook up his son with the mother of the future king. As for Diana, I still find hard to believe her portrayal as a poor lonely girl without friends. I laughed when Diana and the kids were on the plane and the actor who plays Harry started to do with his mouth the same things that real Harry does. It was an okay episode, but tbh, I'm more interested in the Royal Family than in Diana/Dodi relationship. Give me the royal gossip!

What a great ending!! Like many of you, I like to think that Nandor knew this would happen and that's why he never turned Guillermo. Also loved the fact that everyone but Nandor knew where Guillermo was hiding. And Laszlo keeps being a great pal, helping Guillermo like that. I would say that perhaps his friendship with Seeeaaaannn has taught him to care a bit ( but honestly) for some humans.

I was going to congratulate Tatiana on the killing of her disgusting husband, but I changed my mind when she also killed her assistant or whatever that poor girl was. My interest in the show is dwindling down, mostly because I don't really like the characters. The family is boring and trite af, and I can't with the girls in the convent. Right now I'm a bit interested in Tatiana and Rox because they're chaotic, but the show needs something more/else to keep me hooked.

The script needs to be a bit less on-the-nose, but I'm enjoying this. I would have liked to see examples of girls enjoying this new freedom instead of being told about it. I don't mean big things like the young women killing their rapists (although it was great), but little things like the ones Jos was telling her mum about. Until now, leaving dramatic situations aside, we've mostly seen teens giggling and touching each other's hands to see the sparks, which is hardly riveting. I guess Tatiana is going to kill her disgusting husband and I can't wait, although there's a chance she'll be as bad as him afterwards. The incel talking shit about this new power feels like a cliché, but God knows it's completely realistic. There are already Youtubers like him.

Very interesting! I like the fact that it can be transmitted to older women; it makes the thing even bigger. I'm no surprised the first reaction was fear, but now that the cat is out of the bag, I'm afraid things will get more extreme for a while. Since we don't know how powerful they really are, it's difficult to guess if the girls would be able to fight against the police or the army. Now, the show isn't perfect( that convent was weird as fuck and some things don't feel natural, for example), but it could be way worse and I really love the premise. I'm in.

I didn't like it as much as the first episode. Too much teen angst, which is something I don't enjoy anymore. I was also a bit grossed out by the "Carpatian" plot. Was it supposed to be Romania? I think they were talking in Romanian, (I can be wrong) but omg, it was like some cheesy old film or a collection of clichés about Eastern Europe. Hope the next episode feels a bit smarter because it's got a lot of potential.

Someone told me about this story a while ago, never thought I would come across the serie so soon! I loved it and I can't wait to see how it develops. I hope it's not a question of 'see, girls can be as bad as boys' because yes, they can be, but I'm mostly interested in seeing the big changes. Can you imagine what would happen in places like Afghanistan or Ciudad Juárez? Right now, the power they have doesn't seem big enough to lead to a full matriarchy with men as second-class citizens and tbh, it's not what I want to see here, but I'm intrigued by the possibilities of a different world. I wonder if the show will go there.

Wow, I loved this episode! At first I didn't understand why no one was trying to stop Joel and Ellie, but I guess that they weren't actually in the place where those people lived... The men took Ellie to the place where they "process the meat." I doubt anyone lives nearby. Either Joel found the meat storage by accident or the man he tortured knew that the evil guy wouldn't take her straight to the residential area

I was surprised when no one asked Sam and Henry if they had been bitten when they were under the car. I guess the writers wanted a big (and tragic) reveal. Poor kid. And wtf was that monster? A particularly huge guy covered in fungus or a new kind of infected? And do we know how the infected are called? It can't be just "infected". Fungies? Wereshrooms? I don't know if I've missed a slang term for them.
-
I loved it and I certainly see a point to their story: it's a reminder to Joel, who was probably getting too hardened again after Tess's death. If we hadn't seen them together through the last fifteen or so years, the letter wouldn't have the same effect on us and we wouldn't understand why it has such effect on Joel. Regarding Ellie, while I agree that behaviour looks a bit off sometimes, I believe that her background has been so different that she's simply too used to death. There's a book about a Holocaust survivor who was about fifteen when he was sent to the camps and at some point he started to see everything that was happening as normal. You can get used to horror and Ellie hasn't known any other kind of existence.

I know very little about this game -almost nothing-, but I liked the show. The actors are solid, the infected are gross, and while the story isn't exactly new ground, I enjoyed it. I guess the Mormont girl is immune or something like that. I'm in.
