SA said today at an interview that there's going to be a shift in dynamic between Oliver and Felicity, where previously Oliver was kind of restless, but he's really at peace emotionally at the beginning of the season, and it's Felicity who's restless. I think she's going to be the one who wants to go back to Starling and get back to heroing.

Wendy Mericle made it seem like it was going to be something that happened in the first episode.

After watching the IGN interview with SA, EBR and Wendy Mericle, I don't think she was throwing a curveball.

From comments Wendy Mericle made on the IGN interview, it seems like the twist with Felicity might be her figuring out how to bring Ray back from the "dead." She said Felicity has a hand in bringing Ray "back to the show." Hopefully the twist isn't about freaking Ray, but I'm guessing it will be. Wendy also said that they're trying to figure out where to fit Felicity's dad into the scope of things, and that now that they have DD and some other villains coming in (that will be announced tonight), they're trying to figure out how to work dad in, so it sounds like it's not DD, thank god.

Honestly, I think they're mostly KC fans who want her to be the BC AND the romantic lead.

I get Iris fans being upset, because she was sidelined. But that's what goes along with the utter bullshit territory of keeping someone who should know the secret in the dark! Now that she knows about Barry being The Flash, hopefully they won't sideline her anymore (in whatever universe where she and Barry still even know each other).

To me, it doesn't matter what Donna's occupation was when she met Felicity's father, if said father is Damien Darhk. It's the idea of him taking an evil sabbatical to go play house for a few years that makes me LOL. And, obviously getting involved in some low-level crime while he was there, since Donna and Felicity's hospital talk insinuated that they knew he was a criminal. It reminds me of Steve Martin's character in My Blue Heaven, who leaves the mob by going into the witness protection program, only to start a small-town crime ring by scamming people out of change donations to help sick children, haha.

SA mentioned during his panel that he's working on a project with Zach Levi, so I wonder if the voice work he's doing is for the Tangled TV show?

Joe's whole argument about Barry being the better hero in that ep was stupid, IMO. Barry was upset that Cold took advantage of him when he tried to manipulate Cold into helping him, when the only reason that worked was because Barry was a moron. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together knows that when a criminal agrees to help you in exchange for something, you don't give that criminal what he's asked for until he completes the job. And then, of course, Barry goes on to do the dumbest and most selfish thing ever with Joe's support, ahaha. Oh, show.
