Just because Oliver asks (if Oliver asks, since this is all speculation), Felicity isn't necessarily going to say yes. In fact, if he did ask, I'm fairly sure she'd turn him down at this point. That could be a source for some internal conflict between them without breaking them up.

I guess maybe she realized that isn't going to happen ever/anytime soon.

This is just my own personal opinion, but I think she thinks way too highly of her own work, especially considering the (again, IMO) complete mess she made of it. I feel like there are probably some office politics at play with that, so it doesn't really bother me.

I think they already had a person in mind when they decided that was going to be a position that needed to be filled.

They could have changed their mind, but I highly doubt it's going to be her. I don't think KC would've worded her comment as being in talks for a crossover if she was negotiating to be a floater between three different shows.

I don't think it really matters. If Felicity really has inherited Palmer Tech, since it was Oliver's company originally, I'm guessing it'll have the Queen name again at some point. Whether that's through marriage, or some other kind of acquisition, IDK. I don't think whatever's going down on The Flash is going to change that.

I got the impression that she was talking about the little mini hiatus Stephen took last year when Oliver "died." He doesn't seem to have missed much (if any) time this year, so I don't think she was referring to that.

No, NM would play DD as DD, but PB would play DD playing Quentin, haha. They'd still both need to be around, but then they wouldn't have any scenes together, so that wouldn't work. Unless DD isn't the shapeshifter, or he has some other kind of magical power that allows him to morph another person into looking like another person. Or has a follower that can do that. I need to stop before I get too out there and/or confuse myself, haha.

That's not it. The EPs have said as much.

I think that most of the "it isn't what it seems" in the trailer has to do with the Diggle and Quentin stuff, and possibly the Oliver/Thea fight. Everything else is too concrete (we know that O/F are living happily somewhere at the beginning, before Oliver's brought back) or too benign to read into (Laurel and Thea on the bike, everyone fighting - what's there to think other than it's a fight?). Maybe he quite literally means that some of it isn't what it seems as in DD or a VotW or one of DD's minions is a shapeshifter/Loki of some sort, and that's not really Quentin hitting Diggle over the head, or not really Diggle getting hit. I half wonder if we'll see someone getting killed off (Quentin? IDK) before DD or whoever morphs themselves into looking like them. So they're gone, but not really gone - and that's the end of ep 1. Like a Mad Eye Moody situation, but where the original Mad Eye is dead.

I'm really excited for the new season, just unsure of how I'll feel about a villain who can actually go poof (if that ends up being the case).

I'm thinking he can do something ridiculous, like actually disappear. Since they're talking magic and mysticism this year.

Based on those tweets, it seems like maybe she mentioned Coast City (which we all figured anyway). Maybe the rest is conjecture based on the possible reveal of the location?

Based on the thread that Velocity23 posted, if she did let something slip, it doesn't seem like she did it intentionally. I hope someone took video.

I mean, maybe she did at some point mention Hal Jordan? Although I can't imagine why she would if she (and the others) don't even know who Green Lantern is. Unless maybe someone asked her if Hal Jordan appears, and not knowing the significance of it, she said yes? I can't even find where this rumor started.

It's not even proper PR - it's just posting a pic from the DVD with (what seems like) the intent of getting the GA/BC people all riled up. Which seems to be working, based on the comments on the post.

What an odd pic and tagline. They didn't work together at all in the 3rd season. And since last season was about her becoming Black Canary, why not use that? Weird.

It really is. And why didn't they just keep them in the continental U.S.? Not complaining at all, it's just weird for them to set out on a road trip and not have much of one. Guess Oliver was seriously when he said he wanted to go somewhere far away, haha.
