  1. Yeah, they didn't keep real time with that one. I think we were supposed to assume a FF sometime after that?
  2. Well, I'm thankful that he's letting everyone know when it all goes to shit, whatever happens.
  3. Not sure. WM said they were figuring it out whenever that interview had taken place, so seems like there's a strong possibility it's still coming this season, just not the way some people hoped/expected.
  4. They wouldn't have to give her the actual name in order to replicate some version of that storyline.
  5. I might be wrong on this, but I thought the whole point of the Babs becoming Oracle storyline was so that she could learn how to be a hero without being physically able to go out and fight crime. Felicity didn't do that in the first place, so paralyzing her to help her "find another way" is pointless.
  6. A Palmer Tech saving visual effect, surely. (Let me have it, okay?)
  7. I'll hold back judgment until I understand the circumstances, but if it's Roy, I'll be irritated. I mean, he fakes his death to get Oliver off the hook for his crimes as the Hood/Arrow, but then somehow comes back to town and dies for real and is buried under...what name? So stupid.
  8. It's Felicity's bionic wheelchair and/or exoskeleton prototype!
  9. I think there's some assumption going on that if Felicity's father had been part of HIVE that it would've been a longer arc, and that's simply not true. They could just as easily have made her daddy issues with HIVE a one-off as they could if he was some other guy. I think what Wendy said about it speaking directly to her story is promising (or, as promising as something with this show can be). IMO, her father being directly tied to the main villain would make the story less about her.
  10. The kid seems to be coming on way sooner than Papa Smoak, though. I'd be really surprised if Oliver doesn't find out about the kid during the crossover. Also, I'm curious about the context in which Roy returns because he took the fall for Oliver and...eh, whatever.
  11. They probably just didn't have enough cash to pay the two people working on effects overtime to get it done by Sunday.
  12. Doesn't her wording make this seem like it would be about Felicity and her story in a way that having him be part of HIVE wouldn't?
  13. To me, putting her father in HIVE might be half-assing it. That seems to me like the easiest way to go. I'm probably in the monority though, because I really don't care if we ever meet the guy.
  14. I'm glad he's not HIVE. But that means he'll probably be a one-off, and I also don't like the term "bombshell" because that makes it seem like he'll be someone Oliver had dealings with or something previously. No thanks.
  15. Yeah, didn't Caitlin have to brew some moonshine for him? Like 10,000 proof? Haha.
  16. I thought DD was incredibly boring, and I never finished it. I'm loving Jessica Jones so far, and it seems to me the only links to the two might be the neighborhood?
  17. WM said it was a "prominent" character, although what that means to her, I have no idea.
  18. I know this probably won't make you feel better, but if she gets injured to the point where she's in a wheelchair outside of the hospital - provided that pic is of her wheelchair - she isn't the one dying. I mean, not that I think there's a possibility of her in that grave anyway, but...yeah.
  19. Yeah, I mean, there's relationship and character developing injury angst and obstacles, and then there's torture porn. Emphatic no to the torture porn from this girl.
  20. I highly enjoy injury related angst, specifically for the opportunity for character growth. I like writing it, I enjoy reading it, and personally I don't take glee in the thought of Felicity being tortured or severely injured, but I would enjoy a well-told story about how Oliver and Felicity come through it, especially knowing how Oliver has dealt with situations like this in the past. Now, whether I'll get something like that from this show...probably not.
  21. If they paralyze her, I don't think it would be permanent, which brings up all sorts of sensitivity issues, so...yeah, I'd be dreading that, because I agree with you that I don't think they'd do the story justice. And I'd be willing to bet cash money that the storyline would culminate in nanotech, an exoskeleton, an improved wheelchair or something being presented to the board to get PT out of its troubles.
