I don't approve of the reason people were digging for dirt, but if the guy really was posting other people's work as his own, I don't feel bad for him regardless of why he was caught.

Personally, I don't think there's much of a point to keeping Iris and Barry apart or breaking up a wedding as a precursor to keeping them apart, even for the CW. There doesn't seem to be a lot of fervent interest there, and the show made it known from the beginning that Iris and Barry are endgame. Just seeems like a lot of wasted angst when the fanbase's biggest complaint about the last two seasons was the angst. They could plan a wedding for whatever reason and have it not happen for dramatic plot purposes and still stay together. Like Meredith and Derek on Grey's who offered their wedding to Izzy and Alex and then went and wrote their vows on Post-Its. They didn't actually get married for another two years and even then it happened offscreen. Unless Candice Patton just got tired of her character being nothing but a cheerleader for a shitty, stupid person and left the show, IDK...I'd be surprised if anything broke them up at this point.

Felicity didn't either. She left the team.

Isn't he only on record for killing Darhk and Tiny Hands? I don't know that anyone would go after him for Darhk and they already laid the groundwork for him being cleared for killing TH. (For the record I don't want anyone knowing he's GA either, but I don't think his past kills would be an issue for more than an ep or two if at all.)

Yeah, but that would've made more sense this year IMO - when she knew she was going to take on the name and insisted that she wasn't ready. That kind of indicates that she already knew about Laurel and felt like she couldn't live up to her ~legacy. Quentin already bestowed the name on her and she seemed to accept it, so anything more than that seems to be a drag. Which...I guess they'll probably do.

I don't think we're ever moving on from that - like I just can't believe that with E2 Laurel coming on there aren't going to be comparisons. Likely with Oliver or Curtis or Felicity looking at the monument while talking about St. Laurel. I would be ecstatic if it were just going to be set dressing.

IDK that there's much drama to mine out of Barry and Iris to make it worth a(nother) breakup. I mean, they had legit issues and even then weren't apart very long and got back together because Barry sang her an idiotic song in an episode about the power of love. Barry needs his living, breathing pep talker and to never ever be sad again, so I don't think it'll happen.

Yep. It's meant to have significance, which is annoying two years post-death after she got a separate memorial last premiere. I figured her outfit was hanging up and once there was a new canary they'd fold it up and put it away, not detach and cover with glass like it's a display at Graceland. She just...didn't do anything remotely deserving of all this memorializing.

They've put glass around it and seemingly moved it to it's own special place as a ~memorial, which would actually be new!

If they do put the WestAllen wedding during the crossover, I hope it's confined to one episode, and that episode is Flash so I can skip it. I can't think of anyone in the Arrowverse I'd less like to see get his heart's desire than that sack of crap.

No, it was still with the others. They're just moving it out of the way to make room for Wild Dog's and Dinah's, I guess. Yeah, it was already fixed up. They don't need a new base.

I don't have a whole lot of fic peeves, but yeah - the mister thing bothers me, and I also don't like them calling each other by their last names. I can be flirty and fun, but not (IMO) for the kind of relationship Oliver and Felicity have. It works better for cocky guys dealing with someone who's a little uptight. Like Ted whatshisface with Laurel, etc.

Maybe the memorial is there so Dinah can stop and genuflect while she asks herself what would Laurel do? Then she can go out and do the opposite, because Laurel did a ton of dumb shit.

Given the way they've handled long-term, supposedly life-changing injuries, that doesn't make me feel any better, haha. I would greatly appreciate it if that explosion blew out all sonic screaming capabilities though.

I hope she stays evil, simply because I find her more entertaining/LOLworthy that way. I've been burned too many times though, so I like to prepare myself for idiocy.

They had him team up with the dude who drugged his sister into killing a friend/ex-girlfriend, who was responsible for his father's death and Oliver's own stint on Lian Yu, and then another dude who killed his mother. It's complete garbage, but I think aligning himself with a chick who helped kidnap his son and tried to kill his friends is a walk in the park after that.

A redemption arc is easy and predictable, so that's probably what they're gonna do.
