Dinah's fighting ability was only mentioned as a way to explain to the audience that she's already fully trained and we wouldn't be seeing her go through the paces like the others - I personally mind if she's considered Oliver's equal in terms of fighting ability, but I don't think they intended to convey that she's his equal in terms of seniority/leadership.

I think the marine thing was just from the leaked sides. I don't think they mentioned anything other than her being a cop in the show (although I could be wrong).

I think a good rule of thumb is to never get into water where you can't see your feet.

I don't want to see it happen, but I get her answer. Being a supportive sideline shipper doesn't advance her career, but being the love interest for the main character would. Seems like she's decided drumming up comic fan support given she's stepping into someone else's role is important.

I could buy someone on the street not seeing her or getting close enough during a fight to be able to make out who she is. The police station sell is a little more difficult - I hope she manages to, like, knock out all closed-circuit TV and any and all witnesses before she goes in there or something, but I'm not expecting much.

Is her walking into the police station unmasked to blow it up not public life? We're in for more Malcolm standing in the middle of the street talking to Oliver kind of idiocy, yay.

I really hope that Iris being set up as the leader in the premiere is leading to an eventual equal partnership at STAR Labs and isn't just the impetus for her and Barry's ~comedic clashing that leads to them going to couples counseling and ultimately doesn't result in any changes with the team.

They aren't even teasing that anyone survived - they're teasing that they all died given no one who's been a regular the past six years apart from Oliver is in the trailer and "everything has changed" is the theme they're going for. So unbelievably stupid.
