  1. Yes! That's what I meant! They made it sound like it was just a verbal agreement. (Example like Linc and Jo) is all that is needed.
  2. OMG! Me in a nutshell! ^^^^^^^ WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE????????? anyway Irish doc and Owens sister (whatshername) are so gonna hook up. Same with Jo and Linc. and I guess Amelia and that women in MN? I am glad Koracick is back! I would so fuck him just to see what the hype is about! Is he worth it? Does he have skilz in bed? anyway his appearance made me more interested in the crap going in in Minnesota. I don't care about Own and never will. Ben(?) is Bailey's husband (?) and he agreed to take a child (say what?) So I am to understand that babies can just be passed back and forth all willy nilly cuz two people got to talking and agreed to such a thing? Like Linc and Jo at the end. Yeah I'll take Luna - no prob- if something happens to you. Hm? sure?
  3. Awesome! The Haunting Of Villa Diodati is my favorite ep from last season! Like I have watched it multiple times! I forgot about Dan's friend that went into that creepy house... I also have been watching the episodes at least twice. So far I am thoroughly enjoying this season.
  4. Thank you! No! I had never heard of her. But I am still reeling from learning about Sally Hemings and Thomas Jefferson. Like seriously that shit was NEVER taught in my school. and they say CRT isn't necessary???!!! After reading Mary Seacole's biography -- I think her portrayal on Doctor Who was spot on!
  5. This season is reminding me of the old Who-- when each story arc was about 6 eps. So much packed in that I had to watch twice. The planet of Time and those ...beings ...sort of morphing in and out of existence ... could they be the origins of the weeping angels? Because why else show us the weeping angels in the first ep? but I suck at speculating - so I am probably wrong. Yaz getting that dealio implanted in her forehead (that is activated by a snap of a finger) reminds me of Adam(?) way back in Nine's tenure. And kind of Bill getting turned into a Cyberman vibe too. <<< which I really hope does NOT happen! I like Yaz! Who is Mrs. Seacole? was she a real person? She was super chill! I loved when the Doctor was explaining about the Sontarans --she was like -- yup sounds about right! and telling that general to shut up and listen! ha!
  6. It took me the second watch to figure that out.
  7. Subs (CC) is/are the only watch to watch!!!! Anyway -- I watched twice cuz the first time through I was like --whoa! wait! what? who? Have we been introduced to the Flux before? I feel just like The Doctor -- my mind has been wiped clean. I think I'm going to like the new companion. Dan. So far he seems cool and is sort of taking all the alien and shrinking houses in stride. I loved the beginning (even though I wasn't sure what was happening -- like did I miss something?) The Doctor and Yaz hanging upside down on the thingy and the Doc saying (paraphrasing) "I suppose you think some of this is my fault/ and Yaz is like -- ALL of it is your fault! Ha! I am really liking their dynamic. So I guess this season (only 6 eps!!! say what???) is going to bring back all the big bad aliens from previous seasons. Weeping Angels. Check. Sontarans. Check. Daleks. Check. etc.... Either way I am cool with it. I do love me some Doctor Who! welcome back show.
  8. Meh. This one did nothing for me. No feels. No nada. I guess I've never really liked Addison and I just couldn't relate to her COVID lockdown drama. Amelia likewise is not a favorite of mine. I guess I just don't care. Same with Owen. and his sister. Actually I forgot the character is supposed to be Owen's sister. They sure had a lot of make-up smeared on that actresses face though - that's all I could see. I didn't care about anything she said. The only thing that stood out to me was the operating room saga. OMG! Say it ain't so! That kind of shit doesn't really happen at a hospital -- right? I mean anytime myself or my family member have had a surgery they were all scheduled ahead of time -- with a specific surgeon. That whole scenario (residents operating and the attendings just showing up all random-like) was just horrifying!
  9. Interesting! Nine is my favorite doctor (well after Four < but he is classic so...) I loved Nine and Rose! and Nine and Rose and Jack! and well -- just Nine by himself!
  10. I like Ray. He is one of my favorite characters on this show. So? Is he a sex addict? and is he the daddy of Renea's baby? Or is it Frankie's? I'm not sure what the timeline is supposed to be? And I know we (the audience) is supposed to root for Jackie to be sober - but man! last seasons best ep (IMO) was Jackie's fall from grace so to speak - the one where she fell off the wagon and drank and snorted coke and went on some really crazy tangents and even though it turned out like shit and that chick ended up getting her face bashed in - still - the actress who plays Jackie did a great job!
  11. Right! it's always been a soap opera but when you read it laid out like you did? Oh yeah! It is glaring!
  12. dear god that reads like a soap opera!
  13. Don't get me started! How bout Linc and Teddy intending to "fix" the electrical grid or whatever they were attempting to do. I mean - seriously. That scene was so ridiculous my eyes practically rolled right of my head. I know! I know! They have world class surgeons meeting ambulances in the ambulance bay! Hell I think over the years I have seen them draw blood/shave a patients head/ mop the floors! << World. Class. Surgeons! doing the grunt work!
  14. Right! That is another story line I am not really understanding. Why is it marriage or nothing? The whole set up comes across as weird and makes Linc look like a demanding dick.
  15. Friends of mine have a son with Spina Bifida -- he has had many health issues and yes- he is wheelchair bound. I figure Grey's gave Zola Spina Bifida in the beginning because DRAMA! and didn't Derek operate on her and obviously preform a miracle surgery that "cured" her? Cuz ever since she has been a perfectly normal child. I was never a huge Addison fan when she was on the show and I never watched that other show she was on. I did enjoy Mere and Addie in the elevator and later at Mere's casa. I even laughed at the throwaway line about Ellis upstairs -- she's moody like her mother. Ha! The interns didn't bug me and I liked them speculating on a threesome/foursome in the good old days! See how easily rumors start! It will be all over the hospital by evening that Meredith Grey made Addison Montgomery cry in the elevator. I don't care about Teddy or Owen. Why did Jo quite surgery? I don't get her story at all - and her hair is atrocious!
  16. I have said this for so long it has become my mantra. I have never understood why the character was ever made a mother? To be honest - like Meredith I forget the children even exist. Unless they are on screen. Then I am like -- what? kids? 3 of them? say what? Anyway I feel like I was distracted during the ep and may have missed some stuff. How long has glasses been on the show? cuz whoa! He is almost unwatchable.
  17. I have been looking for it but so far... nada. I practicality subscribe to every damn thing now -- I really don't want to add anymore. EPIX is bound to air it... sometime??? right?
  18. Oh! I thought the actress was looking preggers!
  19. I dunno? I took it completely opposite. Ellen says it was a great experience -- and since it is she who is recalling the incident -- I'm gonna believe her.
  20. Who was the dude who met up with Meredith? Was he once upon a time a patient? I don't remember but he is cute and they had more chemistry in their little cute meet than she has with that doctor back in Seattle (I can NOT remember his name!) the one whose kid hates Meredith. So? Jo has a baby? That happened last season right? and let me get this straight - she sat in the car all day with a tiny baby -- who looked like it spent the day strapped into it's car seat? Um? What? My first impression was that Jo lived her her car but I believe at the beginning of the ep she was shown in an apartment? Teddy and Owen got married? Ok. Amelia doesn't want to get married-- that doesn't mean she doesn't want a relationship with Linc -- but she sucks at communicating so I am sure this whole mess will be long, drawn-out and painful.
  21. Actually I wouldn't mind that. Take a look at Boudica and her daughters and their history. I would not wish that on anyone. Cait and Divis are my two favorite characters and I want them to LIVE damnit!
  22. If "Cait" is indeed Boudica -- than all is lost. It doesn't end well.
  23. Ok! Totally excited! That must be why EPIX is suddenly advertising Britannia. Though last night I went to look and only Season 1 was available. Which made me think -- did I dream season 2? No! It was real (****disclaimer-- this show has been off my radar for like months and months! so it is entirely possible I dreamed season 2) I am hoping EPIX does a mini marathon to reacquaint me as to what the hell is happening!
  24. Oh! So glad someone else discovered this show. There is actually a season 2 as well. I think I get it through EPIX? maybe? I suggest Closed Captions! Seriously! Especially when dealing with unusual names. and places and accents! I am hoping a season 3 is in the making? or complete? (damn the pandemic for halting the production of my shows!) You have reminded me how much I like this show- I think I'm going to go back to season 1 and begin again. Oh and I just discovered a show on EPIX/Sky Atlantic called Domina. Cool as shit! I recommend!
