  1. I really fear that this is where Ron is going to go. Shudders
  2. Disgusting is a start, as in Ron and Frank's obsession with Spencer is disgusting, or their lack of awareness as to how children should really behave is disgusting, or that Ron and Frank are having the kiddos behave in a disgusting manner. Seriously it is time for TPTB to step in and stop the kiddie quad
  3. And therein is the problem, have we gone a month since Ron came on without a baby story? Now we have two and the Lulu embryo out there in the wings, or worse in Robin
  4. So what is the deal with the facebook page, are those folks paid to like Sonny? I mean there is almost no balance at all. Is the page being edited to delete any negative comments concerning the writing?
  5. Only is she pushes him off a parapet after cutting out his tongue.
  6. Why would he not have rights? He is her brother. His disowning of Sonny is only in terms of changing his last name, he cannot as far as I understand NYS law undo his adoption. Further other than Morgan (and I see that as a brothers fighting thing more than a long term rift) Michael has not disowned any other family members. He has not said to Dante "You are not my brother" or to Kristina "Sorry you are not my Sister" They are in his mind still his family, as is Bobbie, Lucas, Joss and Molly, heck as far as I know (Because Ron shows us NOTHING) he may still consider Ric his Uncle. Just because you disown your father does not legally or morally cut your ties to any other member of your family. For example in NYS Michael could not now go and marry Kristina, it would be incest and against the law because adopted siblings are treated in the same legal manner as biological. Michael changing his last name nor more affects this then if Kristina was using Trey's last name (Whatever the hell that was) Ahh back when RH gave a shit and before some one told KA she could be a lead. Roger reminds me in a strange way of TG. Both had glory days as a particular soap character and both should have walked away at that moment. For RH it may have been when OLTL ended, for TG it was when Luke and Laura re-united right before Laura became a wig on a stick. Luke and Laura taking off forever together forever on the run and forever young with her wanted for Rick's death would have been a fitting farewell (The audience would of course know the truth as would Lucky and Lulu)
  7. Oh I think this is the endgame, Ron is just doing his version of romantic run around, like Chole, Ned, Alexis and Jax, but because he is Ron there has to be a baby in the middle of the story. Am I a bad person because I can live with that? Whatever Michael's motives he is far to good a guy to ever actually hurt Avery, so whatever reason he has for taking the kid from Carly and Sonny, then Go Team Mikey God help us you are right. Sad.
  8. No, but he is still a danger to her, and all of Sonny's kids are going to have to testify to that: Morgan: "Did your father shoot your Mother while she was giving birth to you?" "Yes" Dante: "Did your father shoot you point blank in the chest?" "It was an accident." "In the chest an accident? Really Officer?" "Well......" Kristina "Did your father attempt to blow up a car you were riding in?" "Yes" Michael "Did Sonny's act ivies result in your being in a coma?" "Yes" "and raped in prison?" "Yes" "and he killed your biological father correct?" "Yes" Sorry Sonny is a danger to that kid.
  9. I never understood the whole adopted/biological thing, my understanding is that a court never again looks at an adopted child as anything but equal in all ways with a biological child. Michael renounced Sonny as a bad Father, so therefore as Avery's brother he has every legal right to try to keep her away from their father. Let's say Sonny was a pedophile (and he is BTW Karen was underage and the whole thing with Emily was just gross) and Michael changed his name to Quartermain and renounced Sonny as his father, he then could step in to protect his underage sister from Sonny and no one would object In Micheal's mind this is exactly what he is doing.
  10. Yes but he continued to acknowledge Dante as his Brother. Disowning one (or in this case two or three) bad apples does not cut you off from your whole family. Joss is still his sister, Dante his brother, Lulu his sister-in-law, Bobbie his grandmother, Lucas his uncle and on and on. Avery is his sister and frankly he is the best she can hope for right now
  11. As much as the circumstances were gross, Sonny is Micheal's legal father, he was adopted, therefore Avery is every bit as much his sister as Morgan's or Dante's
  12. Spin is Slick the cab driver's grandson. I don't care what the Show says or does, that is the soap in my head and I'm sticking by it
  13. My wrist feels the sting of the slap and I deserve it, you are absolutely right
  14. Back when this was a real soap, she would eventually find out, the same way Lucky found out about the rape, it would be filled with heartache and emotions, especially if she ends up being raised by Michael, she would feel torn that her birth so desecrated his beloved father's grave. Confrontations with Sonny, now old and weak as the many times he has been shot take a toll on his body, Ava, now living in New York and working at Ryan's, Port Charles and the drama of all of it behind her, and Carly and Morgan. It would bring tears and healing, it would be good soap writing. But this is not longer a real soap, this is Camp, and it will be played for laughs, because Ron writes like a ten year old boy, watching Batman 66
  15. This would be so much better than Ron's twitter feed. I wonder why no one has thought to have the characters tweet each other yet, and let us in on what they are saying, it seems it would right in Ron's wheelhouse
  16. RB appearing with Ric could mean she is playing Sarah Webber, Maybe they are going to move Ric and Liz out of the Jake orbit and into a triangle with Sarah. Nah, Ron would never have that much creativity
  17. Avery is the female Michael. She is to Carly what Michael is to Sonny, and Ava is the new AJ. I just hope Michael sees that these two hideous people are about to do to that baby what was done to him and intervenes. I am not usually a fan of custody stories but I so hope Michael swoops in marries Kiki for convenience and then uses all of the power of the Q's to take Avery from the Loathsome duo.
  18. In general I am sick of Ron working out his issues on the show. I understand writers do that, but for god's sake write a play or something. A soap just is not the place
  19. I think that Sonny may have PTSD (From the Deke Closet) as well as Borderline Personality Disorder on top of his BPD. I have read any number of BPD article where MB is quoted and I do think that he legitimately thinks that he is doing good for those of us with BPD in his portrayal of Sonny. He is not. But it is also kind of classic Bipolar (at least up here (or down here or over here) on my end of the spectrum) to on occasion think you are doing good when really you are hurting everyone around you. Also without getting into too much physio-threapy of the man, MB is not the writer, he is not the executive producer and while he may have some character control, he is also a working actor who needs a pay check. It may be very unfair to compare the Man Maurice, who genuinely seems to care for his fellow Bipolar sufferers and the loathsome Sonny he plays on TV. The problem is that the writers always seem to go for the easy way out and this confuses me, not only as a bipolar sufferer (cause face it EVERYTHING Confuses me as a bipolar sufferer) but as a writer. With the New Golden Age of TV playing out on prime time and cable and the soap medium dieing by degrees anyway, you would think soap writers (be they Guza or Ron or any one else) would go for broke and go deep.. You can talk all you want about block taping and budget cuts effecting the show, but in truth deep human emotion does not require a lot of sets. Sonny in a real mental ward setting, working though his problems requires some folding chairs, and Lightning. And would be far more compelling drama then Bat-Sonny running along the PC docks with a bomb in his hand, not wanting to injure the little ducks. And for the record and in the interest of fairness I have on occasion wanted to kill some one, but have never acted on it. Bipolar comes in a thousands shades (don't like my mood, give it a minute it will change)
  20. No he should not, but MB should no matter what Maurice always shines when he has to play off kids/babies
  21. The show also wasted, wrote off and/or killed off many of its younger characters pre-Ron: Lucky, Emily, Georgie, Dillion, Sage, Brook Lynn, Ethan, Maya(?) Ward, Diego and few others over the years, not that all of the characters were great or all of the actors wonderful, but they were there. I don't defend Ron often but he did inherit a show with only Corthinios spawn and their significant others to play with
  22. And despite all this I could still enjoy Sonny, if every body else on the show hated him, if he were shown to be a small petty little man who destroys everything he touches/ This was Sonny's redeemable quality back in the day: Oh Luke liked him and he and Laura had an understanding (Laura BTW if I recall right, the only woman Sonny has every shown any respect for) but for the most part Sonny was a pariah, Ned hated him, Lois wanted him to be the boy she knew, Jagger despised him, the Q's thought he was dirt. Then we entered into the era of Sonny apologetics and everyone suddenly loved him. A character like Sonny works on a canvas but only if there is fall out only if there is consequences. The whole self absorbed Sonny is very typical of those of us with bi-polar, and I often feel that MB plays Sonny this way, the complete and total lack of awareness of what a horrible person you can become, especially if your bi-polar is coupled with borderline . personality disorder, as I suspect it is in Sonny's case.. The difference for most "real" people is that they have either alienated their entire support base or their support group refuses to enable the bad behavior and so they change (Some day I will get Mrs. Fylaki on here to point out what a truley awful human being I would be without her and the kids and the grandbaby, and the dogs) In Sonny's case he is surrounded by the biggest group of enablers on the planet and when some one Dares to not enable his behavior they are the ones shown to be in the wrong: So Dante is reprimanded by his Mother, Michael by the free world, Anna and Patrick (before he became a douche) by Robin. These same people did the same thing for Jason, instead of getting the brain damaged child some help (and maybe institutionalizing him for life) The Q's were told to let him be his own person. But Jason Morgan is not/was not a PERSON> he was a made up identity from some one whose mental facilitates were questionable at best. In the show in my head some day Kevin Collins, Gail Baldwin and Tom Hardy all gather all of sonny's loved ones in a room and tell them off one by one for the damage they have done Sonny over the years: "By enabling his behavior you have created a narcissistic monster, whose ability ot know right from wrong is forever tainted. Carly you are the worst of them all. We have here an order from the court ordering your to stay at least 100 miles away from Sonny, you will need to leave Port Charles. Sonny meanwhile will be confined to Ferncliff for the foreseeable future and when and if he is released he is not to have contact with any of you, you people are much more pathetic then he is, he has a mental illness, you, you are all just sick" Then they turn and look directly at the camera to all those folks who try to justify Sonny actions and break the fourth wall "We mean you folks to"
