  1. Some reunion thoughts... First time I saw Kristin's getup I got a Cersai Lannister vibe..either that ot the evil queen from Snow White and the Huntsman..She is someone who is usually on point style wise and this was an epic fail . I also wonder if she really is all that close to Heather because seriously..girl you do need the tape. I loved the color of Heather's dress..but style no! I won't even get into Luanne's dress because..wow. Horrible! Ramona needs color. Ditto for Sonya and Dorinda. I did not like strapless on Carole but her makeuo was perfect. I thought Beth's look aged her. I feel like the Carole-Luanne debate can go on forever .
  2. Agreed the Countess is for sure going overboard. This is a fairly consistent reaction from her though? I mean whenever one of the ladies as come for her children the claws have come out. She loves her niece. Her behavior is over the top for sure but driven by maternal instinct? What's Carol's motivation here?
  3. I used to love Carol. I just can't with her right now...She is acting too much like a character in a book. Perhaps the previously mentioned one? "the Cougars guide"? Maybe her next book. Additionally, at 50 something one would hope for some distance from these types of emotional dramas. I mean how juvenile. I personally would be embarrassed. This isn't age shaming I am Carol's contemporary. I am engaged to a younger man. Carol isn't exactly the typical woman of any age. She has money , fame and connections. With age comes wisdom...Carol for all her witty repartee isn't showing much.
  4. As a book reader the scenes in Winterfell with Sansa are interesting because they are unchartered territory. The Bolton family dinner scene was interesting and layered. Sansa behaved very true to her nature. The revelation of a rival heir to Ramsay may very likely cement Sansa's importance to Ramsay. Sansa does know yet that Ramsay is cray cray. She might have an inkling after the whole Theon display though. Sansa has had an up close and personal experience with this type of behavior (hello Joffrey) as well as the beautiful manipulations per Margary. If Sansa plays her cards right she may get Ramsay to dispose of her brothers killer as well as his unborn child. How righteously beautiful would that be. Once Roose is gone she can deal with Ramsay later?
  5. Go Loretta! Won't be a surprise for me if someone ends up apple pied...all the better if it's crazy-eyed Boon.
  6. What puzzles me is the police seem to be spinning the crime as drug related...however if this is the case why would the culprits leave behind so many drugs?
  7. kikismom said Welcome to the threads, glad you decided to stop lurking and start joining in. I absolutely think the Aaron/Daryl thing was meant to be seen metaphorically. Aaron and Eric bring in Mowgli the Zombie Jungle Boy. Here's my problem...I'm losing trust in Aaron, and I do not see Daryl getting weak as some do. I think Daryl's role to play was to be taken in by Aaron as the tricky trio feel Aaron seems to be the real brains of the outfit. It's a double con, a bit like the movie The Departed. I don't think Daryl is capable of The Departed level of con. He isn't exactly tame nor is he weak but there is a childlike simplicity to him . Daryl is exactly who he appears to be without artifice.
  8. prophetic Daryl "the longer they're out there the more they become what they really are"
  9. first time poster-long time reader... Buttons was clearly a metaphor. Considering his fate...ominous. Also it takes a wild thing to tame a wild thing. Aaron has been watching our group for a long time. He knew what buttons to push to get Darryl tamed.
