  1. I really enjoyed the mustang roundup but I'm a horse girl. I really enjoy Elsa and Sam's interactions...lots of chemistry there. My take on the dramatic scene at the end is Elsa likely knew she'd never see Sam again There definitely were female frontier badass women...cowgirls, sharpshooters and even train robbers, but they chose an actress so ridiculously pretty that it doesn't ring authentic. There are men out there stealing cattle and horses and robbing trains and anything else they want; A girl of that beauty draws a lot of attention. The idea of her riding back to Kansas on her own to meet Sam is utterly ridiculous.
  2. If this all turns into some weird dream thing, I definitely will be disappointed. Add me to the list of people who think kissing during a tornado seemed odd but maybe it's to show her as fearless. I didn't love it and I did really enjoy the rest of the interactions between yellow hair and Sam. The stunt rider for yellowhair is really good and no I don't think it's the actress doing that riding. I love faith hill in this. Every. Scene. I did love Shea laying down with his horse during the storm...it's something I would do, Shows true bond. He is such a complicated layered character.
  3. Add me to the list of people who didn't love Tommy H as a judge. Seriously prints aren't reusable. How about the rip-off americana dreg you peddle? Fashion runways to me are more aspirational. I had emotional reactions to Coral's and Kristine's collections. For me Coral had the most pieces that I would totally wear and could see produced. I have really like Shantell all season but her collection for me looked like boxy 80's retread. I saw a few things I liked but I do not see it as visionary.
  4. if they give this to Chasity I am done...
  5. For me it's Coral, then Kristina as the top two.
  6. corals was gorgeous. Every look.
  7. Chasity did have a lot of Disney villains. I did like the coat and the last look...she also did do a nice job with the tailoring. But certainly nothing new... too much beading
  8. really liked Shantall. Black and white prints were gorgeous and the last look with Dd..smokin. red jumpsuits...loved
  9. loved Kristina's, so cool so modern, the prints were gorgeous, styling perfect, The all black look and the one that followed made me gasp
  10. I finally had an opportunity to watch this, boy do I have some thoughts! I've been following the whole runway model discussion and I guess I see runway as the idealized version of the designer's vision. Most designers have a RTW line for the average women, including Christian. I will say that personally I'd pick Mimi every time if given the choice because she makes the clothes come to life and project runway is lucky to have her. now to the clothes. least favorite Chritina? I mean what was that. The baggy mom jean is having a moment right now, so I didn't mind them, and the top was cute in a junior type of way, and I did like the bag, but there isn't anything really new about any of it. I do like her modular style of dressing, and I do like her mix of patterns, but girl needs an editor... call me boo. Her runway could be cool could be a trainwreck. Chasity. The eighties called they want your whole design aesthetic back. I don't get it I haven't gotten it all season but the way the judges love on her I thought I must be missing something? I suspect we will see a whole runway of Disney princess villains... not new not innovative totally derivative. My guess is she will win...hope not. Shantall. I really did not like this suit. The peplum, the fit, the slits... just not that great and she has done much better so I'm sure her show will be really good. Coral surprised me a little how much I really liked her dress. I think she is on to something. If she can mix her ethnicity with her tailoring and macramé work, it could be really special and different. I'm actually really looking forward to seeing what she does,
  11. she is a size 12. but considered plus size and she definitely has curves.
  12. There is beauty in all shapes and sizes... Vogue plus size editorial
  13. Coca Rocha to me is a very typical editorial/runway model, tall thin and impossibly angular, if you saw her in person, I'm sure it's almost alien like, with that said she is superb. a chameleon. Watching her work those clothes was spectacular. Bones made the mistake of limiting her. I also loved that coat he made and in a different color would have looked amazing. The head wrap. NO. Hopefully he has learned to take some feedback, because feedback is a gift. To me this is Shantall's competition to lose. I have liked some of Kristina's designs, and I think she has a very unique and modern approach which is why I think Nina likes her. I would be interested to see her collection.
  14. Coco Roch was epic. Loved Shantall's dress and picture. I think Coral's picture was really stunning. The dress itself was giving me butterfly vibes. I like Bones dress, but I don't think the picture did justice, Kristiina's picture wasn't so great either. The prop was awful Chasity to me deserved to go home. It was really awful. Of the one's left I am least interested in seeing a collection from Chasity. I think Aaron would have rocked this challenge
  15. true...but my perspective is they were all in a life and death situation and a little soreness isn't really going to get in the way. She had a job to do. Even when she was sore and wanted pants it's not like anyone would have known without her saying so.
  16. people have sex and ride horses quite frequently. Not unbelievable at all
  17. my question if the Veran is all knowing how he did he not see it coming. Or did he
  18. I stopped watching the housewives years ago, this episode reminded me why. I thought Luanne looked stunning.
  19. If Cait kills the Veran doesn't she become the veran? Aulus oh my. Seems weak compared to his wife.
  20. well, that was something. the only design I really liked was Chantall. She has to be a lock for the final three. Chasity definitely had a moment but I'm not a huge fan of her designs. With Elaine's obvious fangirlish preference, I'm sure she's also in the final three. Sorry to see Aaon go but that jumpsuit was tragic. Just a shift dress and some wellies and he likely would have won. 90% of what Bones makes looks like a costume to me including his own runway attire. Just don't get it. Coral can sew and at least has a point of view. I think her look was confused though. I liked the jacket just not with the skirt and hair. Kristina again has a point of view, but I did not like this look on this model. And I really dislike this model. Not because she is big just everything about how she walks irks me. There was one plus size model that I loved. She killed it every runway but this one...ugh. I like diversity on the runway but why can't we have older models.
  21. Sheridan, thank you for that episode. Glad to see you can still write. I cried, that hasn't happened in a long time. Faith hill is phenomenal.
  22. upon rewatch: I really enjoyed the scene with Jimmy and John in the barn with not metallic cat. The dream sequence with Kasey, that was Avery with Monica's voice. Weird
  23. I normally like to rewatch before commenting but life has been busy .... I do have some thoughts on the writing for the female characters this season. The only ones I can tolerate is Teeter who I love. I think the actress has made her bearable otherwise she'd be a cartoon. The Governor, as there is serious chemistry between her and Dutton. Beth and only because Kelly Reilly is a revelation, I have hated her storyline this season, but I love her in the role. This week the whole prison caper as well as the wedding were a joke to me. a bad one. the rest: Emily, stop smirking through every scene...but she did have a mean hook. Mia, just go away. Badass barrel racer to crying baby in 30 sec. You gave an ultimatum now live with your decision or shut the F up. Laramie who is at least consistent. Summer? Stop writing her as a 25 yr. old ingenue. piper is 45, she looks good for her age, but she is not naive. Monica, I mean what a bore of a character. I don't think the actress is that great but look at the material she has been given. Last year there was some growth, but this year has been very disappointing. Avery, puppy dog eyes over Kasey I mean I get it, seriously but needs more meat Sheridan call me you need some help with your female characters.
  24. well, that was something. There is no way the actor who plays Harrison could carry a show so I'm sure that is the end end. Unless Dexter somehow survived...
  25. Sam Elliot is killing it in this role. I can't imagine another actor. He embodies the character seamlessly. Dutton is an ass...but he is normally right. I'm loving Faith hills here. She was a boss crossing that river, but still able to show empathy and softness. Thomas for me is a revelation. I love his character.
