I've learned to not ask to many questions. This is Z-Nation. It doesn't make sense. BUT where the heck did those surprisingly clean, well-fed, and well-groomed people come from that Addy car jacked at the end? That lady looked like she was just running to the store for some milk. Even if I'm Addy and this is Z Nation, I'm gonna take just a couple of moments away from saving humanity to find out a little more.

He can be traded if he clears waivers (and drops his NT clause). It's likely more complicated than that but that's basically it. I wish there was more baseball in this show and less Amelia.

Probably not that much. There was about a decade where I didn't see much TV because I was kinda poor and TV shows weren't as easy to find online as they are today. And it could be that it wasn't AB so much as the shows he was in that I didn't like. But I love him so much now that he makes me laugh. I'm a sucker for funny.

I never cared much for Andre Braugher as an actor and now I LOVE him so much. His character just gets better and better.

Big Brother: Over The Top, Week 8 (11/16/2016 - 11/22/2016)

I haven't been able to watch much so I expect to be a little confused but I want to make sure I understand. Morgan told Kryssie that she and Alex are sisters and Krissie just plain called her a liar? Without even thinking about it? Without comparing their pictures and realizing they look exactly alike? Kryssie is so sure she's s,marter than everyone. I will pay actual money to see her reaction when she finds out the truth. Does Shelby know M and A are sisters? I want Shelby to win. I want to hear Julie Chen say "Kryssie, you are a moron. An arrogant moron, the worst kind. America actually hates you." I miss the chenbot. -
A bad sitcom would have made the entire episode about Rosa and Whatshisname not actually wanting to get married BUT not ever talking (or listening) to each other and tons of miscommunication hijinks would ensue. I love that here that was just a blip. They realized they didn't want to get married yet, they talked, and then they didn't get married. All in, like, a minute of sitcomland time. Even though we all knew they weren't getting married. (Also, I'm with the folks who think Whatshisname actually makes me kinda dislike Rosa. And I love Rosa.)

I suppose it's stupid to ask a question about this stupid show but. . . Episode 5 begins with an almost car crash that "kills" 3 of the 4 people. So the parents and brother become travelers but something goes wrong and the teen girl is left alive and, well, untraveler-ized. So the mother/traveler says something to the daughter like "Go to visit grandma and in a few days I'll come get you and we'll be all happy and normal again." So this new traveler team's mission is supposed to last ~48 hours. What happens then? Do they go back to their present time home and just live out their lives pretending to be the dead people? Or do they go on more missions and just ignore their "daughter" (like Phillip and Elizabeth ignore Henry on The Americans.)? What about the high school guy who, in the future, was obviously older and wiser? Does he go back to the future after the mission or stay in HS? One more thing, Eric M's character seems really useless and uninteresting. Does he have a producer credit? Doesn't he have enough clout to get his character written better?

This show is doomed by bad acting and bad casting and bad makeup. The only condition the lead actress seems to be able to sell is constipated. I literally don't care about her at all. In fact, I may actively dislike her. While I kind of like Frank, the actor was a terrible casting choice. He isn't a very good actor and he's completely unbelievable as Older Frank. Raimie's mom? Terrible acting. Apparently doesn't know the meaning of the word subtle. Makes the character completely unlikable. PLus, when they finally reveal the Nightengale are we going to care? Who have we met on this show that we care enough about to care if he's the Nightengale? Frank. But we know it isn't Frank. Maybe the South African boyfriend/not boyfriend. I know he's not old enough but maybe he's a copycat or the son of the original NG killer.

Wow. I assumed I was the only person who said (with eyeroll) "Way to go Lucy. I'm sure they probably have tons more paper in the storeroom with the other office supplies." Here's a twist I want. I want Lucy and Wyatt to be half brother and sister (same father) because the very idea that the show might try to make them romantic partners is repugnant. Because the actors (and characters) have no chemistry. They have the opposite of chemistry. Rufus and Davy Crockett had more chemistry. And I need them to find out next week before things get really awkward.

I just realized I don't know if the character's name is Garcia Flynn or Flynn Garcia and I'm too unmotivated to look it up. I just think that if viewers are not connected enough to learn the character's names then the show may well be doomed. I want to know these things. Is he lucy's father or her son? I'm ruling out brother because my brain can't figure that one out AND I don't know that he'd have such a strong attachment to her if they weren't raised together. I'm going to guess he's her son. I want more timeline changes. They don't have to be huge. They could be simple things. Fun things. Lucy arrives home to find that she has a dog now. (A dog could really completely fix this show. Remember Indy, the dog on Under the Dome? He was the only character I cared about at the end. Yes, I watch bad TV.) The sister comes back! Wyatt arrives home to find that, in this reality, he's gay and married. (Hey Lucy found herself engaged to a complete stranger and somehow did not run screaming from the house they share.) Maybe real hoverboards have been invented and are so cool. Rufus meets up with his old friend, Phil, from Veridian (I want this very much.). Cubs win the 2016 WS. Stuff like that.

She's not really an actress who stands out, is she? They need an actress who is more of a Carter (SG-1). Even tho I often disliked Carter, at least she had presence. And she could shoot and she could take a hit and not collapse. Maybe the characters of Lucy and Wyatt should be combined into one teammate who is partnered with Malcolm Barrett (who is the one shining light in this mess)(I'm not suggesting that one teammate should be named Phil, but I won't be unhappy if he is.). BUT I'm guessing they need a soft, bland Lucy because we're going to find out she's Garcia's mother and the script calls for a type. Seriously, Carter would already have shot Garcia to death and forgotten about him. Also Lucy seems to get all her "extensive history knowledge" from daily briefings from Wikipedia and she just bothers me.

Kristy smoked that final challenge and the final TC. Her answers were very well thought out and very well presented. The fact is: Kristy outplayed them all. She should have gone home almost every week. Don't be all butthurt because your moral majority twins Lee and El didn't win. Give me one good reason why El, other than her connection with Lee, should have been there in final 2. Lee was a comp beast, I will give him that. But he poisoned his chances with his holier than thou attitude. Kristy is a great surprise at the end of a very long season. I hope she has a wonderful life. Here's an article about Kristy: http://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/tv-and-radio/reality/australian-survivor-winner-kristie-bennett-had-fans-fooled-into-thinking-it-impossible-20161025-gsai8b.html She worked for the win. I wish more Americans would do this before coming on the show. I should probably start spelling her name correctly. Great job Kristie!
-
I kind of liked (as a person, not as a winner) Lee until he started treating Kristy like a dim witted child. Kristy is awkward and weird, but she appears to embrace it. It doesn't make her a lesser person, it makes her more interesting. (I should not that I am also awkward and possibly weird.) Lee and El are condescending asshats. Kristy or Flick for the win.

Yes, this. I can't help but wonder why they had to cast LC. She's not all that as an actress and that accent is fingernails on chalkboard for me. Was there no southern american actress who could have played the part? It isn't as if anyone knew who LC was before TWD. All this does not hold true for AL. He can actually act quite well and his accent is bad but not that bad.

Big Brother: Over The Top, Week 4 (10/19/2016 - 10/25/2016)

Which relationship is she referring to? The one with Shane? Because she knew him for 5 minutes and I'll bet she never asked him anything about himself. I don't care if they jumped into the sack right away. I don't even care that they did that in front of the feeds BUT it was way out of line to do it in the HN room while others were trying to sleep. Especially in the HN room because those folks don't have the option of going to sleep in another room. Anyway, is that the stable relationship she's referring to? I am so glad her son's father refused to sign the release. Sounds like he might have the boy's actual interest at heart. And now Shane's gone. Does she think they're still in a relationship? -

Thanks LC. I am relatively old and I grew up with 5 brothers and I have had some pretty unpleasant interactions with other people but it has never occurred to me to wipe my armpit sweat on another person's stuff. On purpose, I mean. Where would someone even get an idea like that? -

So I've been away for a couple of weeks visiting a place that had, at best, a spotty internet connection. I'm trying to decide if I want to catch up. I have a few questions: Do the HGs really not know that Alex and Morgan are sisters? They look exactly alike when sitting next to each other. I know that "ride or die" means that a person is the one you want to go to final 2 with, but what is the origin of the phrase? I've never heard it before and I am old. Is it specific to BB? I've seen it here and it seems everyone uses it on another board I read. It just sounds stupid to me. Can someone brief me on the details of the "armpit on the pillows" situation. I seems to me that Jason and Kryssie's group is reaching for (and achieving) Amanda-esque levels of grossness. Is that right? I'd love it if someone could point me in the direction of a few videos. Seems like people generally like Whitney but does she still chew with her mouth open? Because that is a deal breaker for me. That's all for now. Thanks. I feel comfortable asking these questions here. The folks on that other board are mean and scary. -
Is it just me or does this season feel like it has been going on forever. Remember Bianca? No, I don't either. I confess I didn't watch the last two episodes carefully but I really don't understand what is going on. I don't think anyone can beat Lee in a final and Lee is locked in with El. I don't understand why El wasn't voted out last episode and I don't understand why she's still there in final 4. I also don't understand why anyone falls for this nonsense about "we're good people so you should stick with us" bullshit. Nobody goes on this show to make friends. At this point I actually want Flick to win because it would be such a loud "fuck you" to the "good people", Lee and El. I hope Lee and El are together IRL because there is clearly no one else good enough for either of them.

Is there something oddly proportioned about Monte? He kinda looks to me like he was put together with parts from two different models. It's something about his arms, I think. THis cannot be very hard because Justin has been paying no attention and fidgeting a lot. It would seem someone who is actually paying attention could go for a long time. I think they should let the losers spray them with a hose. Or slime them. Also, the first day I thought that Scott was a nerd but likely nice and it bothered me that the other HGs ignored him. Then he opened his mouth and revealed that he also has an ugly personality. So he's a nerdy virgin with a lousy personality. Yeah, he can leave soon. -

I don't understand. Is it heavy? Or something? Also, listening to monte read the instructions was excruciating. He mispronounced the word heir. -

Another question: Do the HGs have a thing about not going to bed until the herd goes to bed? I woke up early and checked the feeds and they were all up at about 3 a.m. house time. That would murder me. But I would never play this show. Sleep deprivation will not be kind to HGs. Maybe Production wants them to go crazy. Who is sleeping with who? I can't stand to watch so much so I haven't been paying attention. -

I think Neeley provoked everyone by showing up strong and black and Monte hasn't taken the time to get to know her. He's likely afraid of her. Do we think Monte was cast specifically to be the macho asshole this year? Monte is Caleb without any of the things that made Caleb seem amusing. I can't stand Jason. How can anyone listen to him drone on and on about "his season". He was evicted fifth. He's no big deal. -

Morgan and Alex are both wearing glasses and sitting next to each other and they look exactly alike. Everyone is talking outside. I can't believe they haven't figured it out.
