  1. Nickduhlaus calls Adam selfish. WTAF, dude? He literally saved Faith's life - twice - from a tornado and one of his only two kidneys is in her body. Ungrateful asshole. As are Drinkki and Pricktor. Drinkki will never ever admit that she hates Adam because he's Hope's child, a woman she couldn't live up to in a thousand ages. ITA with PP who say Adam needs to go scorched earth and form his own empire to take down NE. I had to laugh (sarcastically, of course) when Adam rightly called Pricktor out for his shady shenanigans and dead ol Pop (I meant dear, but I'm leaving the typo because yup) snarled "We're not talking about my criminal acts now, which include caging a man and forcing him to eat rats, we're talking about you!" Pouf, ahem, PuppyDog, don't bring a knife to a gunfight. Audra, honey, help me understand why you aren't breaking off a piece of that Kit-Kat bar instead of consta-bedding Dummer's leftovers? I like you, but you in danger, girl. Speaking of man-candy, let's take a moment to appreciate TSJ's well-put-together Tucker. Sally and Nick - the less said about this worst pairing since Cockroach tongue-kissed her half-brother, Scott, the better. Although stop blaming Adam for everything. Next thing you know, she'll be blaming Adam for her faking dying in Los Angeles. This is what show does to me, character I used to love, I'm beginning to loathe. Those I loathe, I hate even more. Finally, what in Western Barbie hell is this? And in highlighter yellow, too.
  2. More photos from the party: JG is smoking hot at any age and is making me feel a little less anxious about turning 5-0 this year. KKL is a smokeshow herself. Annika always looks good but she could have worn something a little less frumpy. Beth and Kelly - may they always be so close but you just know TPTB will have them fighting over the same guy in about 5 years. No one can rock a mermaid tiara like Deacon can. Proving my point, Liam is just a waffly weasel in a mermaid tiara. Deacon and RJ, giving Liam the stink-eye, as well they should. But seeing Katie and Deacon together reminds me that they had some great chemistry and could again if they got rid of hot but boring AF Carter and crazy-train Sheila.
  3. Aww....Grandpa Deacon and birthday girl Beth. ❤️❤️❤️
  4. Terrified and disgusted. It was also bizarre, her wearing sexy black lingerie (maybe she borrowed from Donna LOL) to lounge around at Granddad Eric's house. Almost like she was expecting not one, but two, men to come a'callin'.
  5. I also want to punch Liam in his weasel face and tiny little nutsack for saying that "walking away from Steffy was the BIGGEST mistake of my life." Fuck him forever for saying that as Beth would not exist. He also is forgetting that the reason he walked away was because of Stallion Night where she fucked his father after having an emotional affair with him for months, lied about it, came home with nary a shower afterwards, renewed their vows, had a paternity test, lying all this time, and would have taken it to the grave if Liam hadn't found the test results in her purse. Remember this moment, Lame? The moment when you realized your pregnant wife might be pregnant with your own sibling? And this moment? Speaking of showers, I feel like I need a Silkwood one after defending this chucklefuck during the Lope years.
  6. Per @nkotb's recap (thank you for watching this dreck), I'd say "no" is a good guess.
  7. I think SC is a good actor when he’s given equally good material ala Stallion Night reveal, Beth’s “death,” or the first time Liam held Beth, knowing she was alive.
  8. I was pleasantly surprised by Taylor's reaction. Dare I say she was quite balanced and thoughtful in her take? I also think her most recent history with Ridge (realizing he only pursued her because of the CPS call Thomas faked and Ridge choosing Brooke in Italy) is influencing her here, which is growth IMO. But I do think this could be opening the door to Tinn/Faylor, which I wouldn't be mad at in the slightest. I could see Taylor talking to a distraught Finn and helping to console him, which turns into something more. Especially when you consider Taylor's very spot-on comment about how Steffy should give Finn a chance after all they've been through and his commitment to her and ONLY her. That resonates in more ways than one. Steamless can reunite or not - I have not one fuck to give - but I'm fine if they do and Hope is finally free of the ToD 2.0 once and for all. And if Steffy and Liam are so quick to bail on the person they swore to love, honor, and cherish, for better or for worse the second the other person does the slightest thing wrong while they have been forgiven for all kinds of shit? Then they truly do deserve each other and are a match made. In hell.
  9. Given that Finn gave a wayward Steffy another chance when he took her back, no questions asked, and all the blame put on Liam, after Mannequin night, when they were clearly in a committed relationship, Steffy owes him the opportunity to show he had a few (understandable) moments of conflict where Sheila is concerned but that's all they were. Even if Liam were a million miles away. If her cheating on Finn wasn't a deal-breaker than neither is this. As for Liam, his final comment had me contemplating creating a bag of nickels to hit his nutsack with: " We have one life to live and I wants to live it with Steffy and my daughter." So much for your other daughter, Beth, and your stepson, Douglas, you fuckwad.
  10. By my estimate, that's about 5 days too many. Even SC looks over this shit as does JMW.
  11. Part of me thinks Liam is absolutely loving what’s happening right now. What the fool doesn’t realize is that Steffy may have let him kiss her (twice) but I think she is very much in love with Finn and Liam is more of an annoyance, like the last pesky gnat in your kitchen. After everything Liam has put her through and all that Finn has done for her including saving her life - twice - and one of those times literally taking a bullet for her, how is this even a contest? Plus, he only wants her back now that Hope kicked his ass to the curb because goodness knows he can’t be alone for a second Liam has a right to be concerned for Kelly but that is the only point I’ll give him. Considering he hasn’t shown one iota of interest in Beth or Douglas since his paltry few tears when he was leaving the cabin tells me all I need to know. That he would use his own child to try to woo Steffy back shows he’s even more messed up than he thinks Finn is. If the choice is between Waffles and Finn, mommy issues and all, I’m Team Finn all the way. Tanner really brought the anguish, remorse, and sorrow today. Another point for Team Finn. That Steffy reflected much more on their relationship than the tired, stale, nobody wants these leftovers Steamless is very telling.
  12. I stopped reading the books halfway through the Melody series and the nerve of having another Olivia! As if! I just hope none of those awful retconned Chris Jr and Cory books get made into movies. . . . Oh, who am I kidding? I'd watch them, too.
  13. I could be down with a Hinn pairing or a Finn/Hope/Wyatt triangle.
  14. Nodding along to all of this, especially the bolded. Hope has bent over backwards to forgive Liam time and time again, for the better part of a decade, with her own mother aiding and abetting the Liam Forgiveness Campaigns (which Liam is well aware of), most recently forgiving him for cheating on her because he thought he saw her kissing Thomas and it was a damn mannequin. She had to endure that knowledge plus months of being in limbo whether her wayward husband had fathered a child with Steffy. Then, yes, to your point, she had to hand over her husband on a silver platter for a grieving Steffy who just had to have Liam for comfort and screw his wife and other child. She was the epitome of the gracious, loving, forgiving wife. Unlike Liam, who the second he sniffed out Hope's feelings for Thomas (which I wouldn't call anything but lust/infatuation and not love, unlike his feelings for Steffy), he was on her ass about it. Being tempted is very different from acting on the impulse. Feelings are not infidelity. Yet one would think Hope had already cheated with how much Liam and Steffy, the two biggest hypocrites on the planet, pontificated about how terrible Hope was. And I think, on some level, after everything Liam and Steffy put Hope through, Hope had enough and decided to act on her feelings by kissing Thomas. A bit of payback for all the years he ripped her heart out and threw it in the trash. And a "there, I made you the good guy for a change" except he still isn't and wasn't because five seconds later, he is kissing Steffy. Which Hope still knows nothing about. Liam has proven that he will run to Steffy and cheat on some level - physical or emotional - any time he is on insecure footing of his own making. That is why Hope is done with him. He wants to preach about boundaries? Puh-lease. The man doesn't know the meaning of the word. As for Hope working with Thomas and poor Liam having to deal with that...I couldn't care less because Liam might as well have worked at FC or lived at the cliff house as much as he was constantly interacting with Steffy (still is) and very little of it because of Kelly. That he wanted to divorce her??? Over a kiss??? When he has done so much worse??? Fuck him forever. I hope Steffy and Finn work things out (and I would love it if he were pulling the ultimate con to put her away once and for all) and Liam is left to twist in the wind as Hope, deciding she's scratched her Thomas itch enough, wants to jump with both feet into the dating pool.
  15. I guess Steffy would rather Kelly have died than be saved by Sheila. She also needs to stop being so sanctimonious about Finn looking away for a few moments. He’s human, bitch, and you were the one who just had to prove your bad-assery by hopping on a motorcycle that caused the death of your unborn daughter.
  16. Agreed that Steffy is the default choice for Liam. The only times he was devoted to her was when Hope wasn't in the picture. He's only after Steffy again because Hope called his bluff and divorced his self-righteous, hypocritical ass before he could blink one million times as per usual. And he knows Steffy will almost always take him back. She has, after a fashion, every single time he's looking to heal his man-pain over Hope, including Mannequin night. She's already participated in two kisses and has kept both from Finn and isn't doing anything else towards keeping appropriate boundaries with her ex. Liam will always be her kryptonite. Though as much as I detest Steffy, I much prefer her happily married to Finn. Liam can go kick rocks and sit at his table for one.
  17. This is definitely the best of the "daughter" movies, even if it felt like "The Perils of Pauline, ahem, Christie Longchamp" at times. They packed A LOT into this episode and not all of it landed. I don't buy that Philip and Bet would have ended up with custody of Christie and Jefferson. There is no way boss lady Dawn wouldn't have had a will with explicit instructions (for Trisha or Bronson to take them), especially knowing if something did happen to her and Jimmy, Philip, as the closest kin, would have been likely to get his lecherous hands on her daughter. It also bugged that Bronson wouldn't have postponed his business trip to take in his step-grandkids. IIRC, in the book (which I read a good two decades ago), Laura Sue was very ill and he had his hands full with that (even though I thought, dude, you are rich, you can figure it out back then). Bet certainly upped the bitch factor but I guess finding our your husband and father of your children is in love with his sister and substituting his niece for said sick obsession would make anyone crazy. But she was awful to Christie and Jefferson as were her bratty twins. Fern and her it's a little early for this goth get-up was honestly boring, except in that horrible scene where she tortured poor Emily. I'm glad they brought closure to Christie's biological father storyline. I hope to see more of Joey in the Lifetime universe. The Philip actor really sold unhinged well and was that his Emerson Peabody uniform in that final scene? Great touch if it was. Ditto with Christie wearing what I'm thinking was one of Lillian's old dresses that looked similar to the one worn by Lillian in the cover of Darkest Hour. I loved that The Meadows still retained its creepy vibe even as Emily and Luther were so kind and loving. I loved how protective Homer was of his mom. After finding Darkest Hour a snoozefest of a read, I am kind of wanting to see it get FITA: The Origin treatment now. Obviously, I could do without poor Lillian being raped by her father/uncle but to see how she takes on Bill and becomes the leading lady of Cutler's Cove would be interesting - it could go up to the kidnapping plot.
  18. This is plot contrivance at its not-so-finest. I can buy a parent looking away for a few seconds, but Finn, a parent and a doctor, turning his back for several minutes is bullshit. And of course, all Steffy is going to focus on is that Sheila was there and Finn had contact with her, even though he had no idea she was even there until she pulled Kelly from the water. I guess she'd prefer her daughter drowned. Liam is going to be even more insufferable than ever. Speaking of Liam, nice that he doesn't seem to give a crap about Thomas' proximity to Beth. It's all about Kelly and Hayes, who isn't even his kid.
  19. Liam is going to protect Steffy and Hayes and Kelly. Yeah, sure, Jan.
  20. Me, too! What could have been... And so much WORD to the rest of your post - that would be a fantastic storyline. Yes, Sheila is a murdering psychopath (one would argue Steffy isn't far from that with killing Aly and almost killing Ivy) but Finn was still entitled to process learning he was adopted, that his adoptive father was actually his biological father and yes, that Sheila - this Sheila - was his biological mother. He didn't get one second to process or even react, before Steffy was shrieking about her.
  21. Vinny as the father is unlikely with him being dead but I would have loved this storyline.
