  1. Well, I loved it, beginning to end. If I had one suggestion, it would be that they didn't need the killing montage during the credits. Amy Adams expression, the reveal of the dollhouse floor and "don't tell mama" was creepy enough for me. ETA: I forgot to add that it doesn't need a season 2. If there is one I suppose I'd watch, but I don't see how they can continue in Wind Gap. Maybe something like True Detective, different story with different actors, or even AHS, different story, same actors. I dunno.
  2. Yep, she sure does. Oh well, was just a silly theory!
  3. I thought it said "scared" too, and I was waiting for it to change to "scarred". I'm not sure why. I really like this. It's very surreal. I am fascinated by the story so far (both of them) and I have a couple of suspicions. First, that Elizabeth Perkins character might not be real. I don't think I've seen anyone else interact with her. Second, that the "dad" character is the killer. I think I am just falling for their manipulations on that one tho.
  4. I feel like I say this every week, but I loved this. I understand most of the concerns on here with it being complicated and at times convoluted, but I just simply don't mind that. I like it when my sci-fi is kinda "out there". I think a show that deals primarily with identity, consciousness, free-will, fate and stuff like that should be kinda convoluted. Same reason I liked Black Mirror and the Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams. The stuff fascinates me, and so did this finale. Pissed about Elsie. I so wanted Hale to die after that, and she did! Small consolation though, as I'm still pissed about Elsie. I'm not pissed about Tessa Thomson still being there as I like her a bunch. I'm not sure when MiB's story went to the fidelity test, but I'm thinking it had to be shortly after he killed his daughter. If he actually made it to the forge with Dolores and Bernard he woulda been caught up in the flood, right? Also, when the Delos team came upon the flood, they said (or Stubbs said) it was like an ocean. So, I can believe that Teddy got caught up in it, even though he was quite a bit away. I thought Robot Heaven was pretty cool. I really liked how the door looked and how they fell down the cliff after going thru it. Also, how the humans couldn't see it. I do wonder how everything will work there. I realized Clementine was Death as soon as I saw her on the pale horse, and loved it. However, Hale saying "hurry up" to the driver was stupid, as a few of you pointed out. I cheered when Maeve froze everyone and got pissed again when she was taken out. Happy that it's pretty much confirmed that the Cats (loved this too btw) will revive her and her crew. Actually said out loud "oh shit!" when Hale turned out to be Dolores. I'm gonna re-watch just to see if I can tell from Tessa's acting that she is different when she is Dolores. I've seen the question how did Dolores recognize Emily a few times and that one seems very easy. Dolores said approximately 1,472 times that she remembers everything. She spent time in the real world at Delos mansion playing piano and serving drinks, etc. I think she even had a scene with young Emily, but I might be misremembering that. Anyhow she was in the real world at their mansion so she would have seen Emily plenty. Anyhow, can't wait for next season. Gonna be a long wait.
  5. My goodness, what an episode. I possibly lost two of my favorite characters, Teddy (my namesake!) and Emily. I didn't realize how much I liked Emily until I thought she was dead. Happy Father's Day indeed. I guess I'm gonna hope she was a host, but I don't think so. We'll see. I guess Teddy was pissed off with Dolores. I wasn't sure until he made it clear. I was so proud or happy when he went against his programming and let the Ghost Nation guy slip away. Dolores is learning that if she keeps acting like a human then the hosts are gonna rebel against her too. Even ones that love you. Oh man, there must be some kinda parallel with the two stories tonight. MiB killing someone who loves (loved?) him and Dolores more or less killing someone who loved her. I don't know what it is of course, just thought of that while typing. Maeve is going to survive, that is one of the happier parts of tonight. Also, Ford pronounced Maeve much differently than I hear in my head, and how others say it. William a host? Emily? I dunno, but I'm looking forward to the answer.
  6. All I can say is that I enjoyed the crap out of that.
  7. I liked it. My only complaint is that it seems Blaine really did drink the Angus koolaid. I honestly thought Blaine was setting him up for something horrendous. Oh well, rest I enjoyed.
  8. Haha. I thought Emily was fumbling because she was confused and scared out of her mind when that went down. And it was a big ass shotgun with big ass shells. Dolores didn't seem squeamish to me. Just surprised. She certainly didn't seem squeamish about leaving that technician on the south bound train to command center. She is gonna be even more pissed off when she sees her daddy. Someone here said that they bet that Dolores was in charge of those sessions we have seen with Bernard. Bravo! Loved the ending to the Shogun story and I am already in love with our new ninja cowgirl. Yes, it makes sense that Maeve's little girl would have a mommy now, but Maeve probably wasn't thinking entirely logically about all of this. That's my handwaving of it. I think it would have been better to show she was prepared for that. She knows how the park works now. Great scene with MiB and Emily. I imagine everyone watching knew that he would leave her behind. However, Ed Harris damn near had me fooled. Then I thought, "nah". Not sure I like the new Teddy. However, I don't know that he is bitter with Dolores. I think he is just now built bitter, if that makes sense. Welcome back Ford!
  9. Count me among those who liked it a lot. I'm just along for the ride, and I don't have any preconceived notions where the story should go or how it should get there. I'm liking it so far. Delores is scaring me. She's kind of a hypocrite, or is she? Is she trying to free everyone or just get revenge? Little of both? I dunno, but I am still invested. I am looking forward to a scary James Marsden. Everything I have ever seen him in he was a white knight of some sort. This could be fun. Maeve, oh how I love you! She just keep leveling up. When she did the silent command thing I was reminded of how Ford could do that. He didn't always use words as commands either. Shogun world was great. I got invested pretty quick I guess because the story was familiar. Seeing the dopplegangers was fun, especially Armistices'. Watching the writer freak was fun too. Anyway, I'm still liking this.
  10. Well, I liked it, but I was invested in Isabel, so that probably had a lot to do with it. What can I say I'm easy. My way out there prediction is that Isabel will now turn into a zombie after her death. However, most of you are probably right that Liv will be cured when she eats Isabel's brain. I suppose they wouldn't set that up this episode without some payoff. The whole Chase thing was very jarring and I thought out of character. He seems pretty level headed and especially with such a big win to let something like that put him over the edge.
  11. They came to Earth for Gravitonium. I don't think they cared how they got it, but yeah they were working with Hale to begin with. They didn't come for Thanos. If they knew he was coming, they might have buggered off.
  12. I liked the episode and all the meta thrown in. I think Blaine is gonna cure Angus and let his flock eat him.
  13. It Looked like Bernard downloaded what was in Abernathy into himself, right? Tess is gonna be pissed! If that was what happening anyway. Bernard mighta been just trying to get a top off of fluid I guess. I think maybe Delores let Teddy make his own decision so he could learn to start making his own decisions. We'll see. I hope that woman from the opening scene makes it. She's feisty! ETA: Crap! Forgot to say I was tickled pink that Armistice is back! She is also feisty!
  14. I really liked this episode. Not ashamed to admit I teared up when "Ms. Sherlock" gave the speech. A few things off the top of my head: This was a terrible mission for Rittenhouse. Nicholas could have wiped out Rittenhouse with just this one mission, or did he think Rittenhouse would have succeeded in getting him without strong women like Emma and Lucy's mom? Sooo stupid. The relationship drama is hitting all the right beats for me. How absurd and complicated it is. Rufus thinking he's invincible and Flynn letting him know that doesn't mean you can't be hurt real bad. AoS has a similar storyline right now, also related to time travel. Emma won me over (this episode) but mostly because her story and mine are very similar. Not physical abuse to be fair to my father, but drunk, mental and emotional abuse to spare. I think she's playing Nicholas now tho. She gonna take over. I'm convinced Jessica doesn't know what's going on now. It's just kinda TV 101. I absolutely thought that "Ms. Sherlock" was going to find them in the present to let them know she figured it out. Especially after Wyatt read that she was still fighting for women's rights "to this day".
  15. I think what William showed Delores this episode is the bunker that Bernard and Tess are currently in. And, I think that Ford was (as he always was) one step ahead of Delos and knew about their bunker(s). I think this is how Bernard had DNA that passed the test of opening the door to the bunker. The mass suicide was definitely to oh shit moment of the episode for me. I am still very much interested is Delores and her story, and my goodness ERW is gorgeous. I also loved the meet cute between Delores and Maeve. Yes, Maeve has most personality than Delores, but I just think about what roles they were both last playing before "waking up". A madam and a famer's daughter. Anyways, I put "waking up" in quotes, because I'm not entirely sure either of them really is.
