  1. Was Donna heading off to school with Avery? Is she now the same age as Wylie and Scout?
  2. Hmm, whichever of Sonny or Carly moves out, Avery is going to have be wherever Sonny is - as Sonny is her bio father and the one with custody. If Avery sticks with Carly, Ava will be taking her back pretty damn fast.
  3. If Elizabeth put her ring in the kitchen drawer (which is still a weird place to put a wedding ring, but whatever), how did it fall out of her locker at GH? And am I the only one who thinks Esme killed her adoptive parents because they were splitting up?
  4. Olivia shows up at Carly's and never once thinks to say "So sorry to hear about your uncle"? Seriously?? No way is Luke dead. TPTB will wait until TG dies so they can have a Very Special Episode. Given what Luke and Laura did for GH and soaps, it's the least they could do.
  5. As Kody lamented not spending time with his younger kids via Christine and Janelle because of Covid, I guess there is no official custody/visitation arrangement with the wives. So is he just out of Truely's life? (Particularly now that she is with Christine in Utah?) I know that Covid restrictions were an issue for a lot of divorced families where the kids go back-and-forth between parents. And my understanding is that (in my province, at least) judges said the pre-Covid arrangements stand whether or not the other parent is following the same protocols as you. I can't imagine any parent saying "You aren't being safe enough, the kid has to stay with you because I can't risk bringing them into my home." That would cause SO many issues with respect to custody and financial support, as well as screw up the child. How does Kody not have any obligations to his minor children?
  6. One takeaway for me was that Christine's older kids were more interested in having Christine and the younger ones join them in Utah for Thanksgiving than they were in seeing their father and the rest of the family and following the list of rules. If seeing Kody and everyone else had been important to them, they'd have followed the list.
  7. Am I really supposed to side with Willow over Brook Lynn? Willow has nothing to be angry about - she wasn't hurt by the lie over Bailey's supposed paternity. Willow should be just fine with it, and then chatting about it with her friends, but she was in no way wounded or hurt by the lie. I honestly don't understand how I'm supposed to be rooting for Michael either. This show confuses me.
  8. Is this Wylie #3 now? I don't remember the Wylie who ran into Nina and then Carly in the park as quite so blonde. And quite so eager to hug Grandma Carly. Curtis is right. Marshall does not get to reappear after 20 years of "being dead" and say "Hey I want a relationship, I had to leave so you could be safe, sorry, no deets" and have Curtis be a-ok with that.
  9. I understand Kody being uncomfortable flying to NJ to be with Christine and Ysabel - but how long would it taken him to drive? And your daughter was having major surgery - you suck it up to be with her. Robyn has three older kids who could have helped her out with the little ones, who actually aren't all that little any more. Kody really sucks. Clearly the Browns feel the properties on Coyote Pass will be in the family in perpetuity, because (a) no one will ever want to buy a property that has on it a cistern that provides water to four other properties and (b) no one will ever want to buy a property whose water is stored on and comes from another property. Does the existence of this cistern mean that wells can't be dug on the properties?
  10. I can see them moving Anna and the kids back into the big house with them. They all lived there when Josh was sent away after everything came out a couple of years ago, and I think they'll do so again. On a purely practical note, they can make sure Anna stays in the fold if she's in the same house.
  11. I'm betting the youngest Duggars and his own kids have no idea what has been going on. They may know he was in a court case, but I'm guessing they have no idea what he was charged with. And that their parents won't tell them now.
  12. Last season we heard about Robyn's concerns about Covid and how she did all this reading about it and was really concerned about social distancing because someone in her family once had pneumonia. This season the concern about social distancing is apparently coming from Kody. Not Robyn, but Kody. Uh huh. I'm Canadian, and I'll admit, we seem to be more concerned about exposure even now than Americans are. My city went into "lockdown" last November, with the province following suit right after Christmas. I get the concern. Families didn't get together indoors last Christmas, as we weren't allowed to. But even then, people gathered outside, sometimes in masks, sometimes not. (Frankly, wearing a mask outdoors in winter was awesome - it was warmer! Though with glasses fogging up it was hard to see anything.) Kody's refusal to put on a mask to say good-bye to Ysabel was heartless. His barking to Christine about her not social distancing was just nasty. If he really was concerned about Covid, he could easily have put on a mask and not been such a selfish dolt.
  13. I know that Nina should have told someone that Sonny was in Nixon Falls, and I know that Sonny kept saying "I don't want to know about my past!". But I'm pretty sure Nina did finally tell him they couldn't be together until he figured out his past. And was then going to tell him before Peter tied her up and set fire to the place. I watched all this - why did I watch all of it if TPTB are going to forget all of it except for the very first bit? Why bother going through ALL of this if once Sonny is home it's all "Nina should have spoken up!" and we are completely ignoring everything else that happened just a few short months ago. And why is Willow so pissed off with Nina? How did the conversation she overheard incriminate Nina so very much and yet not Sonny? This show gives me a headache. And I guess Elizabeth and Jason's oldest son heard about Jason off screen. Because why would we care about that when we can keep seeing Carly grieve and grieve and grieve?
  14. Has no one yet thought to tell Elizabeth about Jason's death?
  15. Anyone else think the Q's kitchen looks awfully cozy and too small for the rest of the house? I had no clue where Maxie and Drew were running into each other initially as (a) I don't think we have ever been shown the Q's kitchen and (b) while nice, I'd have expected something a whole lot bigger and much less cozy for the Quartermain mansion. It's a mansion. It really should have a massive kitchen. And if Cook doesn't like people interfering in the kitchen (as we have heard time and again over the years), the kitchen really shouldn't have a window seat and kitchen table with chairs. I'd like to know why we had a close up of the vial of blood that Austin drew from Peter. That seemed like a strange detail to show.
  16. I was so afraid they were going to name the baby Jason Mike. So very afraid. I'm fine with Liam Mike, though Liam Michael would sound better.
  17. I loved the Cassadine Thanksgiving, and I'm wondering who exactly is going to be coming after them. But this is the second time this week that an older man who hasn't been around his family for a really long time steps up and basically tells his family he's the patriarch and they need to listen to him. Some of these writers seem to have Daddy-issues, and I'm not a fan. Dante and Sam were sooooooo boring.
  18. How long has LW been on GH? Because they both looked really young in some of those clips, and I still think of her as the "new Carly". Has no one thought to tell Elizabeth?
  19. Sam, telling your 5-year-old that her dad's been away for a very long time but now he's back is going to screw her up for life as for the past couple of years she has believed he was dead. Everyone did. I know this is soapworld, but come on. And Marshall, you don't get to scold your adult son for the language he uses in a hospital chapel. A) You gave up the right to scold him when you left him when he was a little kid. And B) He's an adult. I don't know why, but that really, really bugged me. Where were all of Elizabeth's sons?
  20. "Dr. Navarro, I've been looking for you everywhere!" Uh, isn't that why hospitals have paging systems? So nurses don't have to waste precious time wandering the hallways looking for someone in particular? And that was quite possibly the slowest emergency c-section ever. But Chase announcing he's the father? Damn, that was hot.
  21. As a Canadian, I get the government's position. Last summer they uncovered stuff that was substantial and about which there is no record. So of course the government wants everything from hereon in properly documented and excavated. It turns out this island actually has a history beyond the story of buried treasure, and the only way to determine what that history was is by properly excavating and documenting everything they find. This kind of thing happens all the time. As inconvenient as this may be for the Laginas, they should talk to people in the UK who plan to build shopping malls or condos and then discover their plans have to be put on hold because they discover the remains of Roman villas or the bones of Richard III and the entire site has to properly excavated. It looks like they'll whine even more next week. Pfft.
  22. The baby does not need to have the middle name "Mike". There are too many Michaels/Mikes on this show as it is. And Elizabeth is a Labour & Delivery nurse? Since when? Genuine question - am I supposed to like Carly? Because I don't. She's awful. But I'm pretty sure she's supposed the matriarch of the show right now. So shouldn't she be more likeable?
  23. The guy analyzing the samples was from Queen's University, which is in Kingston, Ontario. It is one of the top universities in Canada. So I have no idea if other people will consider it accurate, but he isn't just a Joe Schmoe from a private company trying to get his company's name out there.
  24. I've been wondering that since the whole "is Leo on the spectrum" started.
  25. Trinity College? I lived in residence as I couldn't stay at home (lousy home life), so I was easily able to participate in all sorts of college and campus events. My sister lived at home, and though she didn't attend as much stuff she got very involved in the non-res community and is still involved with the college 29 years later. I'd have loved my kid to live in residence last year - it was his first year, he's pretty much an introvert, and it would have forced him to meet people. But he stayed home because of Covid. Most of his classes are in person this year, and he's meeting people, but he isn't getting involved in his faculty's extra-curriculars the way he would have if he'd live on campus last year. Back to GH, I am pretty sure Cam has mentioned living in the dorms at least once, so while an empty family home might be more private for Joss and Cam, it shouldn't have been their only option. Also...are they expecting Elizabeth and Aiden to be out all night? Joss had Trina pack her toothbrush and stuff as though she was spending the night. There has literally been no building up to this. It's been years since they've done a first-time-sex story, but I'm pretty sure it was more compelling than this.
