  1. Why is BMJason so darn sure that Sonny is supporting SBJason because he wants to get his hands on Derek Wells Media or Aurora or whatever it's called? Has Sonny ever mentioned even a passing interest in owning a media company?
  2. Could they sort out who is the real Jason and who is Drew soon? I'm finding it hard to keep track of which person people are writing about on this thread.
  3. What the heck happened to Maxie? She was always bitchy sometimes, but over the last couple of weeks it seems to have become constant. I preferred her when it was an occasional thing. And why the attitude to Nelle? And did Dillon go somewhere, or has he just disappeared from Port Charles and no one has bothered to mention it? I know the actor left, but has there been any explanation for the character? Because it was so obvious when the day player was photographing Maxie and Nathan, instead of Dillon, the supposed in-house photographer for Crimson.
  4. Why was Jason shot on the pier five years anyway? And who shot him? I have a feeling it was Faison, but have never understood why. Franco. Omg. How the hell could he believe that people would blame him for his actions when he was three years old, if he indeed pushed Drew down the stairs? An event which no one saw, and which none of the participants would remember. How self-centered is the guy?
  5. Andre made a remark that Patient 6 "thinks he has family here", or something similar. SBJason had better be the real Jason, because as frustrating as his version of Jason is, it's better than BMJason. For someone who is supposed to be "stone cold", BMJason spends most of his time being frustrated or somehow desperate. I'd much rather BM turn out to be Drew, who can then be as emotional as he wants or doesn't want to be.
  6. So Claudette is alive? Evil, awful Valentin, the Cassadine even Helena apparently feared, couldn't be bothered to kill off Claudette? And same ultra evil man is now going to be blackmailed by Cassandra? My definition of soap-opera-evil obviously differs from GH's. And the slo-mo reaction to SBJason breaking the glass and jumping through the skylight and everyone reacting was just so awful, and yet somehow spot on. So who is "the boss" who wants Patient 6 back? It's clearly a guy - they've referred to him as "he" - so who is it? Isn't Faison off somewhere with Britt?
  7. Am I being too optimistic in hoping Nelle will show up at the launch party looking for Michael and be fatally shot?
  8. If someone begged me not to go digging into their past, that's exactly what I'd do. How does that not seem suspicious to Michael?
  9. Andre has been boring since he arrived, so I'm fine with discovering he's evil. (Aside, if SBJason is "Patient 6", who the heck were patients 1 through 5?) So Nelle spent a year in a psych ward. And yet again Michael will find a way to explain it all away. Has he always been this stupid? I'm really hoping Sonny seeing SBJason actually happened and wasn't someone's dream, as this story has been dragging. I can take only so much lurking.
  10. I was taking a break from the show when Jason was shot and "died", so I'm really not too sure how much is going to be new to him now that he (I'm going along with SB being OGJason) is returning. I know he believed Jake was dead, and I think he believed that Danny might not have been his. But had Danny actually been born? Was Robyn thought to be dead (I'm not sure when the explosion in which she "died" took place)? Had Alan Q already died? What else is different now? I know he wasn't around when Edward died, because that's when I started watching the show again. I'm a sucker for tributes to former cast members who pass away.
  11. Those poor girls. How sick, to methodically work his way through his daughters. At least he has received a long sentence. If he serves his full term, he's going to be a very old man by the time he gets out of prison.
  12. Granted I'm not Catholic, and I do understand it's a great big sin for a priest to have sex, but I was under the impression that plain old premarital/extramarital sex was still considered a sin by the Catholic Church. Did Griffin leave the Catholic Church as well as the priesthood? Or has he decided to become a lapsed Catholic since he's no longer a priest?
  13. Sorry, I wasn't clear (and I haven't figured out how to quote people yet), I know Jill was pregnant for Joy's wedding, but I thought she'd had the baby by the time Joe & Kendra got hitched. The chronology, as far as I remember it, was Joy's wedding, Jill's probably difficult birth, Joy's pregnancy announcement, Joe & Kendra's wedding. If stuff is actually happening, why not show it in order? Why go straight from wedding to wedding? Or is the season finale/final episode before a mid-season break/whatever they call it going to be a Very Special Episode where we finally find out about Sammy's birth and what the heck actually happened?
  14. At the end of the episode, when they were talking about next week, weren't they talking about showing Joseph and Kendra's wedding? Aren't we way off track now? I'm pretty sure Jill had Sam before the wedding, and Joy and Austin announced her pregnancy before the wedding. I know Joseph proposed at Joy's wedding, so there's a natural tie-in to this episode, but for once stuff actually happened in this family between two events, so why can't they show them in order?
  15. So many thoughts. I didn't realize how much I disliked BMJason until SBJason returned. It's sounds weird, but BMJason is too...enthusiastic about his dislike of Franco and his feelings for Jake and whatever else he rambles on about. SBJason may have been emotionless, but I accepted the lack of emotion. Wtf is up with Betsy assuming Franco pushed Drew down the stairs simply because she saw him standing at the top of the stairs? Because that was it, right? Drew was at the bottom, Franco was at the top looking at him. So that automatically means he shoved him down the stairs? Because Franco hasn't had enough to get all emotional and self-absorbed with? The show has managed to "redo" Nina, why can't they "redo" Franco? He is quite possibly the most self-absorbed character on the show, and as Sonny is on the show that's saying something. I am so over the whole "is Nelle evil or not" storyline. Michael gets suspicious and then forgives/ignores everything. She can turn out to be evil, and I'll be happy. She can kill him, and I'll be happy. She bugs. (Also - when the necklace got lost in Morocco or wherever it was, and Valentin found it in a pawn shop so as to "save" Nina, how did he never think to find out where the pawn shop got the necklace? Wouldn't that have been a simple conversation, particularly for someone who is as evil and dangerous and jewel-thief-y as Valentin apparently is? "Hey, where'd you get this?" Even I can do that, and I'm not particularly evil or dangerous.) And finally, I really hope Oscar ends up being a Quartermain. We need more of them. We have Monica, who married in to the family, Ned, who has changed his name, and Jason/Drew. What's the point of having a wealthy dynastic family if it has no members? We don't need any more Corinthoses.
  16. So, the gifts that were old, new and "borrowed" were things everyone already had...but Jinger and Jeremy had to go out and actually spend money to buy blue stuff for Joy and Austin? I think my impression of Jinger and Jeremy just went up a teeny tiny bit.
  17. I was never a fan of Nicholas, but omg I really, really, really want Nicholas to show up alive so that people can stop yelling "you killed my son/brother!" at Valentin. I'm so over it.
  18. I think Joy would have benefited by having fewer family members around to give her advice. She had her grandmother, mother, Jana, Jessa, Jinger, Johanna, Jennifer, Jordyn and Josie. That's 9 people - plus "Miss Renee" - providing a commentary and giving suggestions. I know that when I'm indecisive about something, the fewer people advising me the better. All the voices get into your head and you can't hear yourself think, much less figure out what exactly you want. She'd have been better off with maybe two sisters, and that's it. The poor girl looked close to tears several times. Jinger seems to have grown beyond her family. Just the way she was sitting, her body language, her style. She obviously misses her sisters, but is clearly happy where she is and with the life she now has. Good for her!
  19. Did someone actually say that Jinger's bridesmaids' dresses were custom made, or did I make that up? Because where I live, that would have been a darn sight more expensive than buying dresses online.
  20. I really have to cut Joy some slack. She was never a girly girl, and I can understand why the idea of choosing dresses and tasting cakes is so difficult for her - because she just doesn't care. But because it has been drilled into her that her entire purpose in life is to marry and have kids is the be-all and end-all of her existence, she has to pretend to care. I think she'd be just as happy to wear something off the rack, have one attendant, and get married in city hall. But unfortunately, she's not allowed to do that. To a large extent, I think she has the right attitude. It shouldn't have to be about all the details. It's about the ceremony between the bride and groom, and then the marriage itself. Also, I think the expression on Austin's face when she pointed out they had 2.5 to 3 weeks to spend on the house was an "oh s@#$!" expression, and not a "don't correct me" expression.
  21. How is it that t-shirt size warrants the first page of that application, after name and address and before information about education, current church and all the other stuff?
  22. Didn't Joy say during the Q&A with Daphne Oz that she wanted to have her kids in a hospital rather than at home? When they showed Henry's birth, she didn't seem to be all gaga about home births. But maybe I'm thinking of Jinger.
  23. Serves him right. I hope his wife and kids have a chance to heal and move forward from this.
  24. I'm wondering where they're going to live. Does Jessa get to move up into a bigger house now, so that Joseph and Kendra can have the small house? Or will they be getting a house we haven't even seen yet?
