  1. I couldn't believe how much Usher blew the hotel round. Then Von with his one word answers. As for the 2nd episode, so much better, but that guy was really frustrated he froze.
  2. That was what started some of the Jem'Hadar to start breaking away from the Dominion. Even the original Wyaum explaining while Ketsel White had to be used to keep them enslaved. Other wise, they would just break away and go away and the Founders would have no foot soldiers. Some realized the Changllings weren't gods and some realized: "When will they eventually say we aren't needed anymore?"
  3. Well, I called it glass. Keep in mind, both Picard and Sisko had windows in their offices.
  4. I see why they were saying they were going to be plenty of references from all the various Duck series and the comics. They did it right, setting up future storylines, modernizing the characters without taking them away from their roots and giving a nice evolution of the characters. Problem with Webby in the original series was while she was popular, if you look at the first season, she was really a "girl who wanted to play with the boys." They changed in season 2 by having her be her own character and being on the same playing ground as the triplets. I still love the Gizmo Kid episode because that perfectly spotlighted the quartet perfectly. Here Webby has been the shut in who wants to break out and is more than Huey, Dewey and Louie can handle. Launchpad is truly perfect, they put in all the flaws, character traits from Ducktales and Darkwing Duck that worked and perfectly brought him to 2017. It was like he never changed. Flintheart is almost perfect too, he is a dick, he was in the orsiginal series too, he went to the extremes, but that what sets him and Scrooge perfectly apart. Scrooge kept his heritage and remember where he came from. His family humanized him. In Flintheart's case, he never had any of that. He worked for every damn penny he earned and feels the world owes him and he has no family to keep him footed. It's a great counter.
  5. I agree on both, while Jennifer Lian did great acting in Fury, the story just made no sense. Who was this woman who came back after such a great send off in The Gift. Speaking of send offs, I was watching the final episode of Voyager and while I still loved the emotional ending in the finale. I really wish they would have had at least 10 extra minutes to the episode. I really wanted to see Tom with B'lanna and their baby and then have his dad walk in. See this emotional reunion and then have him hold his grand daughter and then see Voyager go into space doc and have Janeway in her ready room looking out her window at Earth and then putting her hand on the window and end it there. Would have been the final push for the emotional punch.
  6. Right, I mean if the Prophets live outside of time and space and basically created their own paradox. It still feels weak and how Ben's father was so bent on keeping Sarah a secret since day 1. I mean it was the 24th century, he acted like she had Ben and ran out of him because: "I'm not ready." piece of a baby mama genre that started in the late 90s. Another issue was that Sarah after not be possessed anymore just did go: "Why am I here and why did I have a baby?" Instead of being aware of what happened and just drifted away early on before Ben was two and then have his dad remarry and have his two other siblings that were mentioned (but never seen).
  7. I be more than happy if Ashley Johnson came back as DJ's wife. She still acts both on screen and behind the microphone for cartoons. However, if Heather came back too, I'm fine with that too. Something that bothered me with Jerry was that the writers said if Roseanne did get pregnant in real life they were going to write it in no matter what. Even though there was so much back and forth after the pregnancy scare in season 2. Dan was against it, and then he was for it when they did that road trip to California and then Roseanne was against it. Then they were going at it again before Jackie found out she was pregnant with Andy (again, Laurie Metclaf pregnant in real life). I didn't have a problem with the entire storyline because it was a growing trend in the 90s, older couples were having kids after their kids were in their teens or almost out of the house. Happened with both my parents and two of my friends. However, when they decided to start hammering the dreadful season 9 when they decided to go one more season after saying season 8 was it. That's when they started going downhill, but at this point. Having an early adult Jerry or Andy isn't a problem. It's writing in Mark's death that is going to have be done right. Mark dying a few years before Darlene and David have kid number 2 isn't a problem. But considering the timing of the show and everything. They have to watch it with the ages if it is indeed 20 years later.
  8. Outside of that episode, her life in a blink of an eye episode that was when she finally ditched the wig episode was also good. We saw her live her life from the end to the beginning. Too bad her warnings about The Year of Hell didn't work.
  9. How very true. Could have had it after his blow up with Luke went home and looked in the mirror and said: "It's my own damn fault for this." "I got married too young to a girl who had no ambitions." "I don't have any debt and I still live at home." "I'm good at building and repairing, I'm going to go online right now." Given the time and everything, perfect for Dean to become an auto engineer or even parts designer for a company and even had gotten a scholarship. Met the right girl, got married AFTER graduation and away they went.
  10. There is a house only 10 years old on my own block that was like this. My wife and I looked at when we were looking for a house 4 years ago. Also, there was a house two blocks over and where the master bedroom was almost immediately to the left from the front door and the other bedrooms (3) were all the way in the back with the kitchen next door. It was requested by the original owners 10 years ago because both their kids were early teens and wanted privacy and the parents would work late and go right to bed after they got home (don't get the logic either). So, to say, people who have houses built for them or designers who are "I want to be original" will do strange things. So, houses like on Gilmore Girls, Roseanne, The Middle or even Full House never surprised me.

    Season 1

Yet, they had to bring in "Not Tristen" because of reasons in the revival, and it wasn't like Louise and Madeline were not busy to make an appearance since AS-P couldn't get CMM to return.
  12. Pretty much, they will just keep the make up low, throw the glasses back on her and go: "Alex is here."
  13. I just had a crazy idea, remember, Jesse and the Rippers were a big hit in Japan 20 years ago. What if it's a reunion tour and Jesse takes everyone to Japan since it was just Becky and the boys last night. I don't see the twins in the picture. Very possible.
  14. I agree, my mother even said when the series was airing since I was wrapping up high school and had started college. "She has big boobs and no hips, but damn, she can act!" In a way she was the Data for Voyager, but with emotion and had been automosied where Data was trying to discover what it was like to be human and Seven had to rediscover what it was to be human.
  15. I always liked George O'Keef, and he went on to do Working after Roseanne. I didn't have a major problem with how their marriage ended. I mean, they were both different people, if it wouldn't have been for Andy, they probably would have just moved on in their lives. Plus, Fred was a more lay back guy at home type, Jackie wasn't. The final scene with them at dinner and Jackie says its over and Fred agrees and will pack his things. It's very heartbreaking and well acted.
  16. I agree on both pieces. I don't know why he didn't say opposite and his frown was sad not a full frown.
  17. That's a favorite of mine too, I remember in the WW II hologram from the Herogians episode when she got to be a lounge singer. Jerri Ryan said how much she wanted to do the big hair and big lips lounge singer for a retro movie type for a long time. You could tell she was having a great time and even when her regular persona came back, she flipped between the two very seamlessly.
  18. I also love how it starts with Roseanne in a chair holding a tip cigarette going: "It has been lost for over 40 years... along with my mind!" I have to say that worked great with Jackie as the wacky next door neighbor which is really a front. I also don't want to sound like I am showing hatred for Sarah (I didn't like her on Roseanne opposed to Scrubs), but Lecy I believed pulled 50's Becky off perfectly. You could also tell the entire cast was having fun with the episode. Which if I remember correctly how they really wanted season 8, when it was believed to be the last season to be fun and try things they couldn't have done earlier.
  19. I know what you mean. Debi went brain dead as the show kept going, I mean not knowing how to describe a rebound was too much.
  20. The "That's our Rosey" episode which is a spoof of Leave it Beaver was on and it's still hilarious even today. I did love how they got Michael Fishman's brother to play his younger as Stucky since they couldn't use Jerry since he was baby. I loved him popping up with a: "Uh oh! Someone is in trouble." But how the show mocked the old 50-60s TV styles was great, even Glenn Quinn's: "Gee golly Becks." However, the commercials were perfect as you can tell they were ad libbing a lot of them. Especially the final one with Dr. Clean because Roseanne kept drinking the bottle and the actors playing Dr. Clean couldn't respond and then just went: "Exactly!" and disappears. Then you see her still drinking the bottle when they came back from commercial. I still love Dan constantly talking about the "darn Anderson Account" which was true. If you look at Leave it to Beaver, there was some darn account that was always causing problems.
  21. I also agree, I wouldn't have had a problem if they would have had the series start and Jesse and Becky had a early teen daughter (like freshman in high school) also would balance the boys a bit better. Just had it in passing say: "We tried for years and then Nicky and Alex were in 5th grade and we got Pam."
  22. Hildi was very oblivious to things so much during the series. I mean she really thought people wouldn't mind when she went with going against people's wishes or messing with pieces that were really sentimental to the owners. I remember my parents always saying: "Why does she keep doing that?"
  23. Yeah, it was a very fun episode and I the entire point of the box was that the program was reaching an end and would reset. It was a nice build from previous seasons and since the rest of the final season would be leading to end of the war. It was a nice break.
  24. I don't blame the focus on Ezri so much in the final season. Even Michael Pillar said they had to really get her character established since they were pretty much planning on season 7 being the end and had their timeline set for the series. I applaud them for working so many storylines in a short time that actually made sense from Dax's frienship with Sisko, to formerly being married to Worf to even the what if between Bashire.
