  1. Yeah, whenever I am reminded of the shoe incident, I wonder what Dan was thinking. Worse than Palau Jonathan's $500 jeans that he ruined by diving in the water and swimming to shore to try to beat the boat. Shannon was the first out of the younger tribe because he stirred up crap at TC by asking Sash if he was gay. Jud, aka Fabio, IC'd his way to FTC and won by 1 vote over Chase. Sash rounded out the F3 and scored a goose egg on the vote.
  2. That photo is the S21 Nicaragua cast.
  3. Thanks, tvfanatic13! It appears that Dalton Ross and I think very much alike as well, except that I didn't like RI even in BvW. Maverick, IMHO, Nicaragua was not a very good season. It featured "characters" such as "Hurricane" NaOnka (Who gave us the phrase "smuffed torch" and, along with Purple Kelly, aka PuKe, quit, but both were allowed on the jury), Shannon (male, which I'm clarifying because it's a unisex name), and Holly (Who very early on fillled Dan's $1000+ shoes with sand and set them out to sea, though she did make a turnaround and went deep in the game, being voted out because she was a threat to win. At the reunion show she gave Dan a pair of $1000+ boots because she felt so bad about the shoe incident.). Jimmy Johnson (NFL, not to be confused with racecar driver Jimmie Johnson) also played that season. Do you remember Brenda, one of the "Favorites" in Caramoan? Her first seaon was Nicaragua. Editorial: I didn't care for Brenda in her first season and I thought she made some questionable choices by aligning with who she aligned with, but really liked her in Caramoan. /Editorial
  4. There are some earlier seasons I haven't seen, so I may add to this list if I am able to see them at some point in the future... Favorites: Yul and Yau-Man are my absolute faves. Also very much like Tom Westman, Earl, Tasha. Least Favorites: Rob M, Amber, Benny Wade, (Insert First Name Here) Hantz, Colton, Sophie, Ami, Corrine, Troy, Kass, Tony, Todd, Parvati, Abi-Maria, NaOnka, Alicia, Hatch, Sue Hawk, GC, Dreamz, Reynold, Hayden (Who I didn't have a problem with until the rock drawing TC when he said "Second place is first loser." I despise that phrase/attitude.), and Brad (Because of his misogynistic comment about "weak female winners like Kim.") ETA: Ben from Samoa and Shannon from Nicaragua.
  5. Lantern7, the potential of the twinnies being loud enough to make Probie's ears bleed would be a definite upside to them being there. :-) If I got to vote for a TAR team of relatives to be on Survivor, my vote would be for the Cowboys. Love those guys!
  6. Hooray for no RI! I haven't read many of Dalton Ross' writings on Survivor, nor do I listen to EW on the radio. What has been his response to other Survivor "twists?" Does it bode well that he like this new one? Nicaragua is in the same time zone as Central Time in USA and Canada. So, as I type this, it is 9:31 pm on June 5th in those time zones.
  7. Oy vey! I may have to tune out next season if the rumor about the twinnies is true. My eardrums can't take any more of their shrieks.
  8. Make that trilingual... He apparently also speaks Llama! :-)
  9. I was VERY (pleasantly!) surprised that Probie didn't make a single comment about the F2 both being "brawn" males, as we all know how much he is attracted to brawny alpha males. Maybe the facts that 2 "brains" rounded out the top 4 and that the "brains" dominated the IIC shut him up. To those of you talking about Brenchel being on Survivor... Shhhhh! We don't want to give TPTB any ideas! :-) I can only imagine in horror: RI could become Brenchel Island (nee Cody Island), which they would use to make Brenchel babies. And, "I wanted to go on a tropical island adventure with my best friend!" GAG!!!!!
  10. My eyes almost rolled out of my head at both last and this reunion when he asked if the survivors really don't sleep. I'm sure it's a fan question, but he asks it as if he doesn't know. As bad as pretending he doesn't know names at the beginning of each season.
  11. I noticed that Trish had her shoes on when she was weighed, so she actually probably lost more than 10 pounds. Her armpit hair shot made me nauseus. But the monkey impression was funny. I was just meh about LJ until this video. Now I think he's a jerk. Trish didn't vote you out, and actually helped save you earlier when Cliff ws voted out, LJ, so you have no reason to be so nasty to her.
  12. Copying my comment from the episode thread... I'd like to believe that they wouldn't have shown him jumping/falling into the water if it meant he was out of the challenge. Hoping that it is something like the challenge in Micronesia (? I think it was that season.) where they had to stand on poles and retrieve a key by means of buckets of water raising it, then jump in to swim to the next part of the challenge. IMHO, that was a lame promo.
  13. That was freakin' awesome! Someone needs to give Trish a Snickers bar... "Because you just aren't you when you're hungry." Tony is either such a s***, so stupid, or both that he didn't even pronounce "llama" correctly. He was pronouncing it with a short "a" like in "lamb" instead of like "ah." Reminds me of this one time when my idiot, jerk father was trying to convince me that my brother-in-law was "comma-tose" when going to work early in the morning, instead of correctly pronouncing "comatose." I nominate the llama as a new Survivor archetype! So Woo showed that he does actually have something besides air between his ears. Though I agree that his flip could have been influenced by Tony. At least he did appear to be seeing through some of Tony's crap. I cracked up at his "dysfunctional family/foreign exchange student" comment. I'm pretty tolerant, but I do call bull on Probie not saying that it was the last time an HII could be used. If he did say it, then I think the editors erred in not showing it. Am I the only one who wished someone would've given Probie a bear hug when they were all muddy after the RC? #ChaosKass? Try #CluelessKass! Tony, who died and made you the only one who can talk about others? Spencer for the win!!! *Fingers crossed*
  14. I know this may not be possible because of budget constraints, but I really wish they would get over their love affair with Philippines and Samoa. For me at least, one of the best parts of earlier to middle run seasons was seeing all the gorgeous locations. Not saying that Philippines and Samoa aren't gorgeous, just that they need to mix things up again.
  15. I'm torn between Spencer and Tash, but voted for Tash. I would like both of them to make it to FTC, but it's probably going to take some major shakeups for that to happen.
  16. Howdy! I started watching regularly at the beginning of Season 13. I had watched reruns the summer before it and had seen some eps off and on when my friend watched it. I've watched every season since, and have seen about half of the first 12 seasons. Yul and Yau-Man are probably my favorite players, and I DESPISE BRob and his lemming Ambuh, Benjamin Wade, Parvati, Colton, and the Hantzes. I, too, am migrating here from TWoP. I only posted there a few times, using a different name. I am very glad that this forum is here!
