I spent most of my life being a spendthrift, but now my goal is for moths to fly out of my wallet. Le sigh. Thoughts with you, Cricket. But I'd be tempted to look at that CD!

I would fault the lemons. Meyer lemons from my neighbor's tree are VASTLY superior to the lemons I bought at the grocery.

I know we've moved on from auto repairs, but I had a thought. AgentRXS didn't say if this was a dealership service department. I don't think people are aware that almost everyone at a car dealership gets a commission, which is why you always get hit with the upsell. For example, if you go in for an oil change and they check your mileage and recommend the 30,000 mile service package -- which costs more than a simple oil change. I think the only people at a car dealership who don't get a commission are the receptionists and cashiers. Just fyi.
