Yup. And Lester seems to be out and about slick as you please, recovered from his physical traumas.

The cop lost his integrity, but saved his life. Did he choose well, or poorly? Either way, I loved this iteration of "These are not the droids you are looking for." Soooo menacing. Now, the nurses/clerks in the ER remembered Malvo. Was there no paper work? Why was he there to begin with? If he was not there for treatment, wouldn't that be a yoooooge point of suspicion? That he interacted with Lester and Lester is later connected to all that mayhem? No way Lester escapes without at least an indictment. I know. I know. Suspension of disbelief. Ugh.

I am pleased to be a troglodyte now and again. This is one of those times: I've never seen the movie Fargo. Love, love, love BBT's character! Unabashed and impish evil. Awesome. Were any clues given as to who the naked trunk victim was, or why he was killed? I reeeeeeeally want to know who his "boss" is - the dude who answered the phone and asked when he would get to the next assigned town. (Please don't spoil me. Just writing out loud here). The way they constructed the murder of the Chief, I don't see any way he got out of the basement slick as you please. I like that. Same for his walking (?) away from the first murder in the woods. Hmmmm. If he really is an actual devil, why did the deer accident happen at all? Just an add-on of another wrongful death (of the deer)? When he tried to set-up the older brother? I almost literally cheered! Now. To the extent any of this was inspired by actual violence, I hate those crimes. Maybe I am a fool, or worse, but as I watched this, I approached it as just a stylized work of fiction.

Boy, is JLo growing more and more desperate, or what? Ridiculous skirt. So long as CJ and Sam are outta here in the next two weeks, I'm ok with Dexter going tonight. To me, Dexter is the most performance-ready of these. I want a Caleb/Alex final. Pretty sure I'll get at least one of these.

"Creep" has never, does not, and will not ever, work for a female singer. Turrible choice for Jena. She presented it well. Not her fault. Fie on TPTB for allowing time to run so short, which flustered the jidges in their critique of Jena. I thought Alex most definitely had his best night. The trio sure looked like a bottom three joke being played on us all by TPTB. The exceedingly caustic judging of them only fuels my devious conspiracy-prone mind. Any of these will be going home this week.

NeNe and Tony can protest over a bad edit all they want. The FACT is that NeNe walked out of rehearsal and she blamed Tony for a lack of sensitivity. Did TPTB order her to walk? If so, we have ourselves a scandal the FCC would want to investigate. Didn't happen. I love watching Erin bust on Maks and Derek and Mark. It's very much a sports thang. She is the best co-host this show has seen because she actually responds to visual and audio cues given off by those she interviews. She doesn't just robotically recite words off a card provided to her. Erin is keeping it much more real and honest.

How much would I have to be paid to go out to Shep's hunting grounds? Lots! I think my favorite moment was when Cameran, after all her self-righteous and judgmental voiceovers about how a lady and a southern gentleman are to act, asks Kathryn if T-Rav pulls out. The shocked, SHOCKED tittering by the rest of them was priceless. How much did production have to do with Whitney agreeing to rent that odd space? Bets on if he continues that lease today? I believe Whitney. Y'all? Here's some bigtime spoiler information if you care to see it:

Bar none, this was the best open this show has ever had. The rest of the show is in the pantheon of best-ever. Why? SImple. The music. The music. The music. When you add all the standard ballroom? The entirely appropriate "jazz?" Unbeatable. I loved, loved, loved ALL the animation which was mixed in throughout. It could have been cheesy. YMMV. I was thinking about Gene Kelly. Thank you to whomever decided to incorporate this particular bit of corporate synergy. King Louie and Baloo!!!!!! I was elated when the pros started out in classic foxtrot regalia to the alltime classic Disney music. The transition to the working class male pros was so fun. So spot on. I could not believe that Drew Carey could pull off the quick movements he did. Charlie as Dick van Dyke? Truly amazing. Sharna as Mary Poppins? Wow. Even the one dancer I simply do not like, NeNe, made it work very well. I agreed with Donny on Cody's performance. He was technically great. He simply did not fully immerse himself as Simba. Literal chills for Amy. That never happens to me. Wonderful! I care not that the dance itself was underwhelming. The grace and charm she displayed in character is as good as can be done anywhere. My goodness, but Derek makes for a fantastic Prince. Danica similarly brought out wondrous emotion in me. She owned her role. Good on her for being 10 again. She lived the illusion of Disney. Val's choreo was masterful in evoking this. No way would I have given James a 10 tonight. It was the most outside presentation of the theme. It was darn good. He merits staying. Just not the first perfect dance of the season. Sorry. Jungle Book? Original version/music? Maks and Meryl? A genuine samba? Another, for me, all-time DWTS moment. I wanna be just like that. Where's my 15 paddle? Not sure I like them propping Candace with the pimp spot tonight. She was the stiffest of all the stars. This stuck out most particularly given the song. It's fine with me that she wants to maintain a "mom" decorum. The problem is that she self-inhibits when presented a dance like this one. I shudder that I agree with CAI. It's not nerves. It's much. much, deeper than that. I believe that this was the actual bottom three. Shoulda been NeNe to leave.

Best Years of Our Lives grabs me each and every time. When a young whippersnapper asks me why I so love these type of films, I tell them that it would be impossible to make them anymore. I say that audiences then were well satisfied with the small moments - the ones that revealed character - every bit as much as the action scenes. When a ridiculous looking King Kong with primitive FX came along, the poor FX mattered not. Everyone was taken away with the story. The audience was well used to letting their imaginations fill in blanks due to their listening to long-form radio. Now, most everything is reduced to literalism. I was really happy to read this comment. This is a real bone of contention amongst the cognescenti. Some absolutely hate it, while others (myself included) think it strikes some deep and meaningful chords within the story. I would have enjoyed perhaps another theme or two, but the earnestness I sense from the main theme adds so much to my viewing experience. For me, the essential scene was when the guy eating a sandwich at the drug store expressed regret that the sailor had lost his limbs for little reason. He was asserting that the USA was filled with saps/chumps who sacrificed while fighting evil, only to have evil continue to manifest. What a fantastic and powerful concept! We are arguing, essentially, this very question still today. I think we always will. I never took that guy's point to demean the sailor. But, that it instantly became an absolute point of honor for him was simply beautiful to see. I believe each man was correct in their truth. I didn't see a bad guy. I saw a super powerful depiction of what happens every day. Each person chooses to look at things from varying prisms. So many of our interactions depend on context and prior experience. Anyway, this movie shows us, and honors, many different approaches to the same post-WW II realities. Simply brilliant. And that is just ONE scene! Oh. I am slayed each and every time Pops reads the medal citations.

Seven weeks into the season and no boat has more than FIVE total tuna?!!! How can this be sustained - especially by the Hard Merchandise? Each trip costs at least $500, right?

Malaya went out with a toot! So fun to see her actually playing the Sousaphone. I like her lots. I hope she somehow can carve out a fulfilling music career. I most certainly did not miss the lack of a live performance. I was pleased Malaya got a journey montage before she sang out. Now for some combo of CJ, Sam, and Jessica to next depart. I am betting that Caleb and Dexter are 100% done listening to the jidges and producers about stylistic changes. For their sake, they best be.

My very first reaction after ny shock of learning about SH's illness was that she will get scarce mention for a much, much, much more serious cancer than the one BB-C was facing. Everyone dropped EVERYthing to fall all over themselves wishing her the best on air. SH? Out of sight, out of mind. Tom will likely make quick mention of it and that'll be it. The sheer phoniness of everything will be on full display. Wow! No more Conrad! I am a very happy camper. His true colors have been coming out for several seasons now. He is just another schlock TV executive. The Dance mattered little, if at all. His full-throated defence of the various cutbacks in expense was pathetic. His insistence on bringing in ancients created the worst mess I have yet seen: BD Williams.

S13.E28: 8 Finalists Perform (Again)
Lonesome Rhodes replied to Tara Ariano's topic in American Idol
I love how HCJ has signalled that he is absolutely over this. David Cook was a fabulous mentor, who was not allowed to get to the singers until well after things were decided. I about fell out when JLo actually spoke truth to Alex about his massacre of EBYT. Maybe she has checked out, as well.
