To the poster who said Nymeria's new pack was harkening back to the brothers and sisters she was born among, I agree. Upon further reflection, I also believe the meeting between the two was meant to show Nymeria finding a place "in her pack" and meant to illustrate that Arya must go "find her pack." I know she was heading to Winterfell anyway, but the imagery of the wolves among Nymeria was too strong to not push Arya even farther towards the "find your pack" mentality.

I tend to believe that she will not be to her full potential without Jon.

Missandei has a lovely everyside.

Is it wrong I was fascinated by Jorah's procedure? NYMERIA. I'm glad she didn't turn on Arya, but I'm sad she turned away. Jon had some excellent scenes tonight. So did Dany. I actually cheered (internally) when Mel told Dany to meet Jon. Is it wrong I cheered when Euron killed two of the Sand Snakes? Lastly, is it also wrong that I want Sean Bean to get his Ned statue when the show is over?

Every single season we have to step in and ask you all to stop the repetitive back and forth. It ALWAYS revolves around Sansa. Stop it. Please don't make us want to "dracarys" you or this thread.

I have dubbed Arya's Frey massacre as "Winter's Toast."

@Drogo this made me snort in a most unladylike way.

Juxtaposing the Sansa/Jon scene with the Cersei/Jaime scene definitely works to do this well.

Hee hee. You said "daily doodies." Sorry, I have young sons.

Sorry I keep remembering things. This time it's this: they mentioned the Wall standing through it all an awfulllllllllll lot this episode. Hmmmmmmmmm.

I'm super proud of myself for getting that that was Jorah. Although to be honest, it wasn't until he said Dany's name that I recognized his voice.

I almost forgot my favorite line! "You're a lucky man." Torienne forever, guys.

1. I laughed hysterically because as a RN, I see this all the time and I have totally made that gag face inadvertently. 2. Omg my husband said that to me as well - he saw Evil Joshua Jackson! I'll have to tell him he's not alone.

Oh my god, I missed this show SO MUCH.

Friends From College - General Discussion

I'm on episode 3 now. The guest stars are given complete comedic breakouts. I adore Forgetting Sarah Marshall so much I'm in this for the long haul. This is like watching all of the most embarrassing choices the characters in that make for 30 straight minutes. -

Fwiw, I kind of liked the pilot. I mean, I liked it as much as I cringed at the horrible choices being made. I really do like the cast, so I'm willing to give this a far shake. I'm on episode 2 now and it's holding up. Still cringing at the horrible choices. Still liking it. I'm not watching it as a comedy, if that makes any difference. And I really like the soundtrack. -

Guys, I hate to invoke the "boards on boards" rule, but talking about other posters rudely will never be allowed. Plus, we all know I'm the most cleverest moderator of my age. -

I just emerged from my solitary crying jag in my bedroom to have this exchange: Mr. Stone: Mya, what's wrong? Me: (unintelligible)...and ducks...(hiccup) Mr. Stone: The old man died, didn't he? Me: (runs back into our bedroom to cry more)

Are you my long lost sibling? This is me to a t. I'm still over here wiping away tears. (And no, I can not listen to Eliza's verse in The World Was Wide Enough without losing it.)
