I don't think JJY is considered a former cast member—he's just on medical leave. And we've gotten enough references to Mac while JJY has been gone that I think it's a character who has left the show. Besides, since when has the show really cared about Mac?

I feel like if Jason and Elizabeth become a couple now it's because of his guilt at being such a crappy father. That's gross for everyone.

I thought RoHo seemed as done with GH as it was with him, but who knows what Frank would promise?
-
Cyrus?

They could at least have her say "I went through this with Lucky and I can't do it again." Even that would help.

They are annoying, but I don't really mind their bumbling attempts to help. I'm glad they went to Tracy and she told them to prepare themselves to be disappointed. I'm not sure how much that sank in, but Tracy was right to warn them about that. I wish she'd also asked them if they'd spoken to an addiction specialist for pointers on how to approach Finn, because just barreling in and telling him he has to stop for Violet's sake isn't going to cut it. Chase may have seen what addiction can do to families because he's a cop, but it's different when it's your family. And there isn't a one-size-fits-all solution.

That's right, Michael, keep putting yourself first with your grudge against Nina. And gross that Willow has to justify why she's okay with Nina seeing the kids. It's too bad Michael won't accuse Willow of having an affair with Drew, which finally wakes her up to what a controlling asshat she's married to and she divorces him. I'm sorry they didn't have him suck the liquor off the keys before he threw them against the wall, but maybe that would be too much.. I get that Elizabeth doesn't want to talk to the boys about why she and Finn broke up, but they're certainly old enough to understand addiction. Oh, FFS. Of course Joss is responsible for Dex becoming a "better" person. NINA DIDN'T SEND DREW TO JAIL. I feel like sending an irate email to the writing staff, Frank, and Nathan Varni about this constant inaccuracy.

I didn't realize how much I hadn't missed Wiley until he showed up today. Ugh. His sneeze was adorable, though. I wish CW would dial back Nina's mania when she sees her dolt grandson. Nina comes across as unhinged; is that what CW is aiming for? The only upside is how it would annoy Carly. Chase is spinning out over Finn's drinking. I get Chase's frustration, but it's so not about him. Finn's chat-up skills are hilariously terrible. I didn't quite get it: Is there an important basketball game on Sunday night? /s (It cracked me up how vague they had to be about the teams because of taping lead time.)

It cracks me up how they keep trying to convince us PCU is more prestigious than an Ivy League school. Who cares? LOL. When I reread my post, I realized the antecedent was a bit unclear, but it's true that Maxie is being written better as well. Ha!

I'm so tired of GH trying to make singers happen. I don't care how good their voices are (or aren't). My dad died unexpectedly when he and my mom were on vacation, and it took her five months to even open his suitcase and empty it. It took her a few months more to go through his closet and drawers. Same. IMO she subordinated herself too much to him, despite her occasional attempts to assert herself. I know she's young and he was her first big love, and you have to figure out how to be in a relationship, so I can cut her some slack. I think the writing for Spencer was fault, as he continually downplayed her ambitions, despite his lip service to the contrary. But she was on a break! (LOL, she actually said that.) I like how Maxie talked to Violet (and I agree with @Sake614 that she's much better when they write to her actual age). It was truthful and respectful.

The cover for the program for Gregory's memorial was kind of tacky. But it was a nice, realistic touch to show the guy picking up the medical equipment he used. I liked Tracy's remembrance, but of course you can miss what you don't have. You don't miss what you don't want. They whiffed that and should have left things at "make your own opportunities."

Anna has been so dumbed down that this is entirely possible. And Valentin has been so stupid he probably has the envelope marked "Secret Info: Do Not Read."
-
I never saw her that way - she lives in the gray area.... I see her as willing to use every trick in the book, but she won't do anything illegal, like suborn perjury or hold back evidence.

Both of my parents were cremated, and we spread their ashes in the lake across the street from our house (along with the ashes of our soul dog; all probably illegally, whoops). I don't live in my hometown anymore, so it doesn't make any difference if they had graves. I kind of get where Chase is coming from, but he's talking about the physical remains of Gregory. The memories are what matter, IMO. I do like that BL is being supportive toward Chase but is also gently being the voice of reason and not letting him spiral. LOL that Anna needed to explain to Jason why Valentin might want him dead. Yes, it's certainly a stumper. Everything Wagger said to Sonny about Jason was correct, but I wish it hadn't been in the context of Wagger thinking he'll be Sonny in prison anytime soon.

I will never be Team Molly/TJ for the surrogate because a) they never had an honest conversation with themselves or Kristina about what using a family member as the surrogate could mean for them and the baby; b) their requirements are awfully restrictive; and c) they treat Kristina like absolute crap, automatically assuming the worst in every situation. No wonder Kristina is avoiding their phone calls and keeping them out of medical appointments.
-
I guess Port Charles doesn't have Citizen App.
-
I hope TJ doesn't find out what Kristina's favorite cake is, given that chocolate has caffeine in it. We know how harmful that is to the baby. I don't think Blaze betrayed Kristina, but she should have called Kristina right after talking to Molly. Diane should not be representing both Jason and Sonny. I know Diane loves money, but she's supposed to have strong legal ethics, and this is a gigantic conflict of interest. Maybe this is why Alexis will get her law license back. OMG, they had an actual chalk outline of the body! Sonny's "who, me?" face when Diane asked him if was responsible for the shooting was hilarious. And LOL at Valentin's confidence that Sonny will be successful in killing Jason. Anna, of everyone, Jason didn't look at Sonny through rose-colored glasses. What is this?

Same, especially when it's used because the writers decide they want to keep the character around longer because they're enamored of the actor or the character unexpectedly becomes popular (which didn't happen with Franco or Heather, really). Ugh.
-
One hundred percent. Alley Mills might be a lovely person, but Heather isn't and she shouldn't be redeemed in any way. Leave her offscreen forever in Pentonville.
-
Curtis and Portia are totally right to be outraged—they should be!—that Laura is trying to mitigate Heather's crimes. But @Bringonthedrama is right that for him to bring up Esmé was a jerk move. Trina is alive because Spencer (purportedly) died fighting off Esmé. At any rate, Laura is well aware of what Heather did. I think she's misguided, to say the least, to get involved in seeing if Heather can get some relief—that's for a lawyer, to deal with, not the mayor of Port Charles—but the writing has done a decent job of showing her conflicting feeling. She's Heather's relative and has her power of attorney, she's horrified at Heather's actions, she's somewhat sympathetic to the cobalt poisoning affecting Heather's past actions.
-
Shh, we're supposed to have forgotten all of that.
-
Laura's anger about the press finding out about her actions toward Heather is ridiculous. It doesn't matter she was acting as a private citizen (which is quite the hair to split, and she should know better than to try)—It was entirely predictable the news would get out. She asked for public records. Curtis has always been a self-righteous jackass. Portia isn't far behind. Seriously. Carly said more than once she witnessed nothing. Talk to people who were actually there. I do like Carly saying that Kristina was made of good stuff and she and the baby would be fine. She didn't have to do that. It cracks me up the way Sonny sneers "caaahp." It's so petty. I love it. I am still aggravated no one is thinking that Sonny's meds need a closer look. It's like everyone has forgotten what a manic episode is like. And really, if Jason gets shot in the coffee warehouse, Sonny is going to be a suspect no matter what. It's obvious he's impaired in some respect (more than usual, that is!).
-
Half the baby's genes are Kristina's. This show (and probably all soaps, to be fair) loves to claim behavior is a result of genetics. Look at how Dante and Sonny both love pasta proves they're related. Or that Luke and stupid Ethan both raised a whiskey glass to their mouths in the same way meant they were definitely father and son. So of course she'll get the blame when the kid turns out love meat or not want to go to college.
-
Willow thinks that because Drew found Liesl in Greenland he'll be a good Congressman? Okay... I love how Sonny admitted he might not listen to what Joss has to say, but at least she'll be able to get it off her chest. Dex, you're in a public park. I doubt Sonny had to work that hard to find you. Shut up, James. Please choke on your ice cream. Felicia, you can have some problems too. Kristina can't win. You know Molly and TJ would rag on her for not being active enough if she stayed inside the way they want her to. I hope Blaze calls Kristina to giver her a head's up that Molly knows about the beating.

Ava's morals have always been flexible, depending on what she needs/wants at the time. I would like the show to move things along so we know what she needs/wants now. She's slowly making it so that she's Sonny only confidante, but why? To what end? And it's time that someone starts wondering about Sonny's meds. Especially with his latest bashing of Dex, it's ridiculous no one is taking a closer look at the meds situation.
