I think I’ve got the reasoning for the Ted/Dana/Leslie/Sherry/Sheila/Alex Forrest affair figured out. In one of Kat’s bios it said she was Nicole and Ted’s “miracle baby.” So presumably the couple had fertility problems and/or miscarriages or stillbirth. That can create a lot of problems for even the stablest of couples.
