  1. Dad seems like a nice guy, well intentioned but so misguided about Wess
  2. We had a food truck that served lobster rolls in my community tonight. Omg I haven't had lobster in forever. So good
  3. Naked burrito earing was one of the most nauseating things I've ever seen.
  4. Good idea. I can have a pound of bacon a dozen eggs and 5 eggos and do arm circles at the same time
  5. I was planning to hit the gym in the morning. Good to know that palms up, palms down is a workout. Saves me time and effort
  6. Ack I forgot this started today. Fortunately I can restart so I can catch up. Oh lord a coochie shot
  7. Eh i get it. Camilla was on Charles wavelength, they totally understood each other. Even if Diana was more beautiful than Camilla, Diana was incredibly needy and a younger Charles was not equipped for that. Yes it sucked, they should have never married. I dont think its fair to expect people to stay together when they were mismatched. That said I was pretty incredulous about Camilla carrying on with Charles in front of her husband. I know her husband was having affairs also but yeesh. Its thats civilized and sophisticated, ill pass. And the series seems to make no mention of Diana's affairs.
  8. I think Charles and Camilla are getting a very generous portrayal.
  9. Yes. And the one who she went to the party with while home on break and punched out her ex.
  10. Just finised the last episode and I am dissapointed there wasnt really closure. Just lots more questions. A few stray observations about the series: Both Stephen and Lucy are POS and deserve each other. Lucy is silently mad and punishing her mom for years. Sorry that was terrible. I assume Drew met a bad end and Macy is dead and Lucy and Stephen don't seem to understand that they both have responsibility there. Lucy let her friend get dumped because she wouldn't admit to writing the letter. Stephen bangs any girl willing to have him. And WTF is up with Stephen being so secretive about his whereabouts all the time, while at huge college parties? Ok dude. And speaking of parties, I was lol about how all the parties at that college are themed, complete with costume requirements and flyers. Yeah right. I hope Stephen ends up as a manager at Arbys. Lucy is no better. She gonna sit home all summer and wait for the phone to ring. UGh. Wrigley is what, 7 years out of college and still calling people bro and dude and has the same college hair? I want a season 2 because I think I can hate these people more the longer I watch.
  11. I have read that Steve basically cut himself and the kids out of her life and the kids have grown up to be fine people. They even embraced the kids she had with Vili. Most people who know them say the kids turned out good because of him and despite her. Also looking at MK through our 2022 eyes, we can see that she engaged in grooming behavior, much like members of the clergy did. Person of authority (a teacher) picks out a kid from a unstable background, in this case a single mom, struggling and a dad in jail, and makes him feel special. Does all kind of things for him, let's him hang at her house and takes him places 1 on 1. Then slowly she says oh you can kiss me, you can touch me and I can touch you, normalizing it. Before long it lead to sex. Classic grooming. Thats why with all we know now about sexual abuse of children, I was gobsmacked to listen to people who said it was a love story.
  12. Has anyone watched the Killer Nanny series on ID? I've always had mixed feelings about that case.
  13. I watched the Mary Kay Letourneau show. I remember when it happened but there were a few things I wasn't aware of. It was pretty disgusting to hear some of her friends, former friends and even attorneys involved describe it as a crime AND a love story.Love story? Seriously? The woman was a pedophile and she groomed that child. It wasn't a love story except in her twisted mind. It was child sexual abuse. Just because they got married doesn't erase what she did. My God if the genders had been reversed and a male teacher of 34 had groomed and had sex witha 13 year old, gotten her pregnant twice and then she ended up marrying her abuser, the villagers would have had pitchforks in their hands. The only people they interviewed who gave her no pity were the two psychologists who tried to work with her. Both said she was a pedophile.
  14. Her wedding get up was a mash of of My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding and Toddlers and Tiaras. Im planning on watching the special so I can see Tre ask the designer to make it bigger and more rhinestones whilst I yell Sparkle Baby! at Tre.
  15. I heard its a multi part special, since filming for the season wrapped before the wedding. If anyone uses Twitter just search Teresa wedding and you will be treated to some hilarious snark.
  16. Yep, they just gave Tre a new talking point and a storyline "you didn't come to my wedding!" that she can milk ad nauseum.
  17. Joe and Mel not showing up was a bitch move designed to get attention. If I was invited I would be there with bells on just to witness the over the top jerseyfacation. I looked up the venue and they have an over the top package that had Tre written all over it.
  18. My theory is there's a GoPro stuck in there to film the wedding.
  19. There's supposed to be an HBO version of Candy later this summer. I wish one of the big streaming services would do a series on Jeffrey MacDonald. There was one done back.in the 80s, but that case has fascinated me for a long time.
  20. Overall I thought this miniseries was a bit slow and plodding and I was dissapointed. Maybe because I know the story so well, I wanted some insight that just wasn't there and maybe that was unfair of me. Or maybe because I find Michael Peterson so repugnant I couldn't bring myself to care about him. I watched Candy on Hulu and although I know that story too, I found it much more compelling. I dont think focusing of the POV of the documentary crew added anything and took away from the series. I was glad when it was over.
  21. So did that interview where he said Kathleen didn't know about the other men really happen? Because part of his defense was that kathleen knew and accepted his bisexuality. Weird that he stayed in Durham. Wasn't his dream to live in Paris?
  22. I'm not sure how old he is but survivor benefits generally end when the survivor reaches retirement age. Now he may have claimed her retirement benefits from SS, as im sure she made more than he did but since he pled guilty im not sure the federal govt is willing to do that.
  23. When your scholarship gets yanked for crap grades and you complain that your dad opened the letter. Seriously
