Love Dr. Nowzarden, but a plastic surgeon he is not. -
House Hunters International - General Discussion

I've read about that @aghst. Sounds truly frightening. -
Just got up off the floor from laughing so hard. Tammy wears an extra large and Amy a large? No way. Both of these women have arrested development at about age 10. Tammy can be more mature at times, but she's also more hateful. I'm not Team Amanda because I think she's squandering her weight loss opportunity, but I also think she spent years taking care of Amy and Tammy, as did Chris and Misty. Why do I love this sh***** so much?

Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)

Her son Axel (?) was diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) at about 2. He had some delays attaining beginning language. Not sure how he's doing now. -
Same with not discussing Truely with regards to the house hunting. One would certainly think Christine would make her happiness/comfort a priority.

So many great comments on this thread. I like reading them before I watch so I can pay attention- ha! Have 2 thoughts on Meri. First, was sad that she is in such denial about Kody and Robyn screwing her over on the Coyote Pass deal. Second, love, love, love how self-aware Meri is about her life now. She needs to stick with her timetable about if/when to date. She's still grieving the end of her relationship with Kody, it's only been a few months. Wish Christine had been a little less insistent that things will get better post-Kody. That will depend totally on Meri. Agree with smart posters who said Meri and Christine's hugs and conversation were the most genuine thing on the show in years.

Surprised that Meghan stuck it out in the ice plunge- but she's still lazy AF. Get a job. Really tough for Ashely to have a baby at her age and weight, but I hope she can. Vannessa's speed dating was cringe-worthy. Scott seems like a nice guy. Watching him in the buffet line after the dating was sad. He doesn't seem to be able to stop eating long enough to qualify for surgery. I forget the other woman's name- new Tina? Good thing she isn't with Dr.Now. He would have insisted on more than a 10 pound loss. -
Loved parachute games at school! We didn't do it too often, the specialness would wear off fast. It can be a fairly dangerous game- kids run so fast underneath to try to get to the other side before they got trapped, collisions are common. We used small balls on it, liking popping corn, we played color games, did pretend stormy weather or waves, so much fun! I was always exhausted after it.

Had to stop watching to comment on the opening! They all know about parachute games! Gotta be an elementary teacher on the writing staff- the motions and Janine running underneath were amazing. ❤️ this show.

There is no way Tammy is ready for skin removal. She's was acting like a cranky toddler when the plastic surgeon reinforced what Dr. Smith said- she needs to lose more weight, she's 280 pounds, she needs to lose 100 more because she's short. Chris absolutely enabled her saying if she had shown her stomach, doctor would have changed his mind. Chris should have called her out on her childish, petulant behavior. Amy and Tammy are immature, nasty bratty women. I don't blame Amanda for leaving town for a bit. Chris needs to put his foot down and Misty is smart not to engage. Brittany is the only one I like these days.

Most of the OG 13 kids seem well-adjusted, happy, productive adults (not forgetting Garrison). That's pretty amazing in today's world. Does not surprise me at all that Ysabel might struggle with any new relationship her mom has. Christine involved her kids way too much in the implosion of her relationship with Kody. I totally agree with @sassi214 about Kody, and think Christine should have kept all of it away from her kids still at home.

I'm really really really hoping that there is a business plan with local experts knowledge. I like Janelle and a successful business with kill Kody. But after the ill-planned Vegas and Flagstaff moves and the RV debacle, I'm not convinced Janelle is good at any of this. It's always possible that the show has paid more than any of us know, and she is flush with cash. Her recent living accommodations don't support that thought, but I'm hoping. -
Late to the party, Janelle praising David for having a relationship with all of his kids was golden. Such a diss, but so true. Several of my friends do not and it eats at them- Kody only cares how it makes him look.

I'd buy a real tell-all book from Meri and/or Janelle.

Did a (very) shallow dive on colleges and universities with active and highly ranked programs for students with ASD. Dayton's college- Northern Arizona University was not ranked or mentioned in any of the resources. I'm guessing many/most public universities have programs for these students under the Americans with Disabilities Act. I think NAU was smaller, fairly close to LV, and just suited Day'un. Flagstaff is a beautiful place, it's probably quite expensive to live there for a smaller city.
