I'm very interested in Mahdi and Stevi. Agree his English is excellent and accent seems North American. Stevi is a bit of a mess, but she seems to have a lot of empathy for Mahdi missing his family and home. That's rare in the 90 Day world. I'm rooting for them. (Which means I'll prob dislike them at the end). @Pepper Mostly had the same thought in live chat, and it's so true.

House Hunters International - General Discussion

Agree @Dirge. Got some real insight about his upbringing and the strong cultural beliefs about children taking care of their parents as they age. Three weeks in a tiny apartment with one bathroom and one true bedroom would be hard. -
7 Little Johnstons - General Discussion

If I were Bryce, I wouldn't come to Trent and Amber's until Elizabeth was home either. Bryce is standing there holding a snuggling baby, and Elizabeth is reaching trying to grab her from him. He seems like a nice country guy, and deserves better than these control freaks. -
Show does remind me a bit of Jazz in that both parents supported their kids (Jazz and Baylen) so much that the other sibs in the family might have been affected adversely in terms of needed parent attention.

So true @Soapy Goddess. Just like the HHI dummies who want local charm AND open concept, large bedrooms, and outdoor space. You're at the beach, if you forget that, look outside.

Quick comment about Stevie's dad- yes I think he prob has a very pre-conceived view of this man from Iran that his daughter sprung info on him about last minute. In his defense, his second comment was how oppressive things are in Iran towards women. He's not wrong and even though he seems redneck and from small town Mississippi, his concern for his daughter's welfare is evident. Now the jihad outfit comment was nuts, but I liked how he loves Stevie.

Watching epi 1. Ok, she faints in church, she's pregnant with a cancer diagnosis and they surround her and lay hands on her? How about getting her space and fresh air and getting medical attention quickly? Dummies....

Loved your whole post @LilyD, but the last sentence was awesome. When moving to NC, Janelle mentioned that she loved Flag, and stated she was leaving three kids there (including Garrison) as this was before the tragedy. Wonder how she feels about Flagstaff now. Am guessing she's very glad to be starting over in NC.

Long story- starting a minor house remodel, bought a cookie cutter new build 12 years ago because cul-de-sac, big back yard, good part of town, one level, etc. House was completed when we bought. Re-fied with an amazing interest rate start of covid, so just paid it off. As I'm picking floors, paint, new countertops, etc. I'm doing if for ME, not what's trendy. When we sell, we will find someone (probably a lot of someones) who will want our house due to cul-de-sac, backyard, nice part of town, etc. These HH's who fixate on little things that can be changed aren't smart.

Tori is shilling Raising Heights "merch" on IG. Seriously, who would buy this stuff? Grifters gotta grift. Without the show keeping them in the public eye, I wonder if it's getting harder to make $$ out of their adoring public.

Repeat which I prob fell asleep during first watch. Debt-free in Wilmington, NC. I do appreciate these lower budget HH'ers, their budget was between $300,000 and $325,000 and it seems like they were forced to sell a previous home due to debt. Good for them for getting out of debt and having a reasonable budget, and she was a former teacher and planning to homeschool her sons. In today's world, many couples need 2 incomes. Kind of surprised me that even though wife HH had a career, she was committed to homeschool and having less to spend on her home.

Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore
BAForever replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
Thanks @LilyD, I had forgotten that. That's a tough career choice- very competitive. Not sure if either sold a home. I have a love-hate relationship with Meri, Janelle and Christine and a hate-hate relationship with Kody and Robyn. I wish the OG 3 well, but will not be stunned when they fail. -

Have followed these bozos from Day 1. Love that posters here can disagree and still be kind in comments. My 2 cents- the way Christine was raised did not give her a realistic view of her life options. Unless she was pretty strong as a young woman, polygamy was most likely her future. She married Kody and started fulfilling her destiny. The show (and Robyn) come along and we all know what happens. The shows money and exposure give her a way out. Both things can be true- she's a grifter and a good mom. I actually do think of her as Sparkle Pony. Thanks to the wise poster who coined the term. I do wonder why neither Janelle or Christine went back to college to get education/training for a different career. They obviously have the money- the farm in NC and the Moab rental to pay for adult education. Why chose a career that relies on visibility on social media? Love that some of the OG kids Aspyn, Logan, Hunter have made that choice. -
Don't forget she wanted to be close to her climbing gym, that was a big factor too @laredhead. Glad someone else found her annoying.

Hey HH- Enough with the content creators. The Colorado Springs window washer guy seemed chill, but his wife exhausted me. Cute baby. I turned it off and will continue to turn off anyone who has that career. No idea which they picked, imagine she got her way.
