  1. Flora confirmed on a recent podcast that she had been approached by MTV, but it was very preliminary. She also said that she was the one who initiated rallying other cast members for more money at the ten year reunion (I think that was the rumored reason she was banned). Basically she said she'd do a reunion for no money because she is retired and financially set.
  2. She said on the podcast that she was briefly married to Mitchell (they ran off to Vegas together), but he's not the one that died. That husband drowned in their swimming pool somehow. Flora mentioned it when she was getting her boobs fixed on Botched a couple years ago. She did say on the same podcast that she would be willing to do a reunion and made a point of how it wasn't about the money for her because she's set for life. She said she is retired and travels the world with her daughter. She said the reason her cast probably won't have a reunion is because her cast has lives and doesn't have time for challenges and other things. She keeps in touch with Dan and Melissa. She confirmed (somewhat) that she initiated the protest for more money at the ten year reunion. She seems both bored and defensive throughout the interview, swears a lot, reiterates how much she doesn't care about money or being famous.
  3. It sounds like Julie may not be around for the whole reunion: https://www.etonline.com/julie-stoffer-talks-real-world-new-orleans-reunion-drama-and-leaving-the-mormon-church-exclusive When it comes to the letters, “It happened 20 years ago,” Stoffer says, adding that “it’s something that’s been blown way out of proportion.” In fact, she thinks the argument of the letters is covering up “some actual beef that is not wanting to be admitted to.” In the end, “I don’t know what we are to each other. I really wish I knew,” Stoffer says. “I thought I was going down there to have a high school reunion or something where you catch up and see where they are and have fun together. But these people didn’t come down there to have fun. That wasn’t their motivation.” She adds later, “Then some stuff happened that I didn’t even get to see the end of. So, I’m gonna be tuning in with you to see how that all finished. So, it’s gonna be a wild ride.” Whether or not that means Stoffer left the reunion early is unclear. “I don’t know if I can speak to that. But what I can say is that it’s suspenseful, and I have questions,” she teases.
  4. I partially listened to the podcast Julie did. It was difficult because she changes thoughts at trandom while speaking and answers questions the interviewer never even asked. It doesn't help that he's a bad interviewer and lets her ramble. She rarely finishes a complete thought or sentence. Both of them say like a million times. She's super spastic and hyper throughout. IT was almost 90 minutes long. A few highlights: The Veronica incident - she claimed that she couldn't hear anything anyone was shouting because Veronica was screaming so loud and she was so focused on winning. Said she will probably not talk to any of her castmates in the future and feels like she never fit in with them She denied everything with Melissa pretty much She's not a Mormon any longer. She said she left when she found out she was pregnant with a daughter and didn't want her raised that way, but then later says it was a years long process and blah, blah, blah She really, really, really wants to do another challenge. She thinks she's going to come across really well on the homecoming Claims she doesn't know or can't remember why Coral has a problem with her (I never watched the challenges, so not sure what this one was about). She blames Melissa on people not liking her Felt like she was giving 80 percent and her castmates were only giving 10 percent during the homecoming (don't ask me to explain what that means) Actually said, "sometimes it's just easy to go after the nice blonde girl in the room" and complained about the mean girls Doesn't shave her legs (no idea why this came up, other than she rambles) On Melissa being angry - says she (Julie) has her own opionion on what Melissa is upset about, but doesn't think it's anything she'll ever admit to (what??). Says Melissa is always going to speak her truth (and uses air quotes around truth) whether or not it's the truth Says she still loves Melissa nd thinks she's a good person for the most part, but doesn't trust her (it took her several tries to formulate this thought). Says Melissa has the wrong view of circumstances or she's in denial what really is behind her frustration. Says it's not fair the stuff Melissa has accused her family of and hopes one of Melissa's daughters never gets bullied the way she has. That's all I've got.
  5. This perfectly sums up Sam's personality. Instead of communicating, she mumbles, grunts, and rolls her eyes through every situation. I remember this season being annoyed by her reactions to her ex-husband. Their interactions are awkward and hostile on her end, awkward and clueless on his end. They can't get through the simplest of conversations without stumbling over each other's words. His character is written as so dull and humorless that it's hard to see how Sam married him, let alone had three children with him. It would have been more interesting to write him as this likeable and charming guy, but also he could still be an absentee father.
  6. Farrah is never in on the joke. Never. This is just another career/personality she is trying on. We've had yogurt shop, chef school, furniture store, legal school (not law school according to Farrah, but legal school), porn, poop seller, vagina molds, stripper, escort, fitness guru, adult and children's books, pasta sauce, film school, boxer, plastic surgery junkie. And now we're adding stand up comic. I assume this will go the way of the boxing career, but I would love to see her standup routine and specifically people reacting to her routine. I would just like to see her have actual consequences for the things she says and does. All those businesses she just walked away from with unpaid rent and vendors, and nothing happens. I don't have much confidence anything will come from her slapping that security guard earlier this year. She'll just keep swanning along.
  7. She did an hour long podcast with Howie Mandel. There's a nice recap here. So much nonsense. A few highlights: On her comedy career: “I had a comic bring me to something secretive, unannounced, just to see what the crowd would do,” Farrah said, declining to name who the comic was. “I did [comedy] for five minutes, and he wanted to see the reaction and basically, he recorded it and he saw it was women standing up cheering me on and men laughing. So, I was like, ‘Even if I fail at comedy, I could be really good at TED Talks!’ So, either way I’m going for it!” On going to legal school: “I’m also going to legal school!” Farrah said. “JD, baby!” On selling her poop: “I had people offer me $5,000 for stinky poop that comes out of me. I don’t even think that could go in the mail. But then I had these little tiny jars, and I was like, ‘Maybe I should put poop in it?’ And I asked about it and it really blew up. But I’ve never gotten the chance to do that. I don’t think I would do that. I think it’s a comedic, funny thing to talk about.” On running for office: “I actually empower other victims of assaults to actually run for like office positions. So that way we can improve, I don’t know, consent culture, and laws, and just bettering our lives. Be a mayor! Be a governor! I think once I get my public affairs and law degree done, I feel like I will totally be ready to help support so many people, and be hated by people for helping our economy. I think I just want that degree for people and their sanity.” On being attacked by a homeless man with a garden tool: “I was walking down the street in Beverly Hills in confusion, and some guy was gonna stab me with a shrubber shredder!” she said. “And he’s in jail right now.” As for the Shrubber Shredder Stabber, Farrah said she thinks he was homeless. “And he probably stole that from, like, a gardener,” Farrah offered.
  8. At the end of the pilot episode way back in 2015, Sam is filming what looks like Cinemax after dark movie or something (with Bradley Whitford as her costar). I remember that scene because it seemed like Sam was too old to be making that kind of movie and wondering who the target audience would be. I did enjoy the behind the scenes of a career working actor parts of the show much more than the family drama parts.
  9. I did like Sam's rant about Generation X. We are the coolest generation!
  10. I'm surprised by how much praise this show gets and how aspirational they find Sam as a parent. Why? The question for me becomes, are Sam’s daughters just obnoxious teenagers or are they devil spawn whose sociopathy is never acknowledged by their own mom? Most scenes with the girls – and Sam’s willingness to silently put up with whatever bullshit they whine about - makes Sam seem less like the regular every mom and more a victim of her own making, a doormat. We’re supposed to relate to Sam’s willingness to give until she’s got nothing left, but that’s hard. You just want to yell at her, set some boundaries! It won’t traumatize your kids if you make them clean up after a party or pay rent!
  11. https://decider.com/2019/04/19/better-things-children/ This article is a couple of years old, but it's does a pretty good job explaining how awful the girls are on this show. Here's a quote that sums up some of the complaints: The difference is that, on our way to becoming decent adults, most of our parents told us to quit being such little shits and shamed us out of our worst offenses; the Fox kids virtually never are — and given how autobiographical the show is, it’s hard not to wonder if Sam is performing events inspired by real life in order to shame Adlon’s real-life children into giving her less material.
  12. Brace yourselves, Farrah wants to be a stand up comedian: https://www.tmz.com/2022/04/05/farrah-abraham-standup-comedy-treatment-teen-mom/ Sure, why not? When I think of Farrah, the first thing I think of is her amazing sense of humor. I will say her face in that video is pretty funny.
  13. She cries rape so often and lies about so many things that it's hard to know if she is actually telling the truth this time. https://6park.news/florida/palm-beach-police-did-not-interview-foppoli-witnesses-after-farrah-abraham-rape-allegation.html This is not a well edited article - it often refers to Farrah as he, lol - but it does give some more details. The SF Chronicle seems to have a better story, but you have to have a subscription to read it. Anyhow, this part was interesting: The police report notes that Abraham waited to file a police report because she was “traveling and busy" and also: Police records show that Abraham said he was in contact with Foppoli through text messages after the incident. Abraham tried to keep the lines of communication open with Foppoli while she decided what to do with police. From the article, it sounds like she was at his winery with several other men and women. . . and for some reason, Sophia is also there at this adult party. From Farrah's blog: I tried to leave this “wine tasting” more like my “conspired rape” gathering 3 times and everyone there knew my child was waiting on me yet still chose to take part in helping a rapist target me and commit a crime and go against my will. The women involved were older than myself and one a mother and I thought a friend of many years but not on this spring break in palm beach. So where was Sophia until Farrah woke up at 9:00 am the next morning?
  14. Okay, one more quote from the blog because I just can't with Farrah: "It disgusted me that someone who rapes me doesn’t take responsibility, doesn’t think to pay for a plan b pill, therapy, the damages to my body and mental state he caused." Do rapists normally pay for Plan B pills or take responsibility? I feel like that's a no. I lied, I have one more quote: "I still can’t stand the sight of wine, old fashions, pathetic charcuterie dishes, sleazy wanna-be winery men, wine tastings and I stay clear of people around a full moon now as well." I feel bad she's off charcuterie dishes. I guess that means she can't hang out with Amber on her couch and eat meat.
  15. Coming from the woman who also thought she didn't have time to be sexually assaulted. I mean, I guess the rest of us just schedule it when we have some downtime? I'm not doing anything right now, so maybe I have time to be assaulted.
  16. A lot to unpack here. I don't want to comment on whether I believe she was raped or not, but she has a history of inserting herself into high profie cases. In 2016, she said she was almost raped by an Uber driver. Days later she admits that he just "looked at her lechorously, but it could've turned into a rape situation". Ooookay. In 2017, Michael tweets that she was raped "after that tape", presumably talking about James Dean. Farrah says she was "drugged and raped more than once" during her stripping tour. Quote from Farrah about James Deen in 2015: "James Deen raped me for his benefit of fame. He conspired against me with others that I thought were my friends at the time, and that was very hurtful." This current assault that happened in 2021 was against Foppoli (who already has several other allegations, 9 women I think). Farrah's case was closed due to insufficent evidence and her lack of recolleciton of events. Highlights from Farrah's blog for those who do not want to suffer through her word salad : **Luckily there was someone like me involved in this type of crime because I truly am the definition of responsible adult as we’re witnessing. I thought I was to old to be sexually assaulted. **I wouldn’t wish this horrific experience on anyone, even my rapist or their lawyer **I gave the rapist the opportunity to correct his behavior but he chose to miss his own call he scheduled. I had my rapist sign my own NDA when I made it to the airport as I needed to speak with him privately about the nonconsensual matter he signed it yet broke the NDA with his not approved press statements mentioning me and speaking for me **Normally if both adults decided to have sex, they both talk about the sex and care about Plan B, they talk about how it was. **I got kicked out of my school course for having a “Nurological problem” only if the Harvard teacher knew her gothic fiction class created ptsd from my sexual assault **He did not get consent to ever even touch me let alone objectify my body, violate my body and rape me as seen on a video I provided to police. **To say the least, many other males kept attacking me in broad daylight this year. Some went to jail, others were fired, & companies ended up paying for their employees' injustices. **I never even thought I had time to be sexually assaulted but a serial predator doesn’t stop. Okay, that's it. If there is a video, I don't think the police would drop the case. She thought she was too old to be sexually assaulted? I'm sorry, is there a cutoff age for rape? The last one kills me. Yes, the rest of us do have time to be sexually assaulted, but not Farrah.
  17. Of course she is going to some celebrity quack doctor who will prescribe her supplements to magically cure her. Why would she bother with a regular therapist who doesn't have a Wikipedia page or social media to tag? Farrah and Jenelle have a remarkable amount of "health problems" for barely 30 year olds (not that either looks 30).
  18. The kid with the bottle was taken from Adlon's own experience directing a child actor (specifically on this show). I remember reading an article about her trying to get a child actor to show how excited he was about a bottle. It was actually just last season. Found the article: https://www.indiewire.com/2020/04/better-things-pamela-adlon-superhuman-filmmaker-season-4-interview-1202223692/
  19. I'm really surprised she seems to have stayed the full 28 days. I can't imagine being in a trauma treatment center with her. I'd like to believe she's actually getting some help, but realistically I expect her to post a nonsensical video the second she gets out. At least Sophia had a 28 day break from her mom.
  20. Sam is ignoring it because that's what she does. It's what they all do. Her mom has been showing signs of dementia for a few seasons, but Sam won't even consider acknowledging it. Max moves back home and Sam shows no interest in asking her why. Sam asks Frankie what her plans are for the future and Frankie walks off and ignores her. Duke is texting with grown men and vaping while Sam ignores it. Sam's brother tries to help her with finances and she ignores his advice.
  21. Max moves back home because she said she didn't have a choice. What does that mean? Did the apartment flood, catch on fire, become infested with cockroaches, what? Why wouldn't Sam ask? Max says she didn't call Sam to tell her she was coming because her phone died while she was driving the u-haul. Wouldn't you discuss that before even getting the u-haul? Maybe a text or something at least. Max doesn't say why she had to leave the apartment. Sam doesn't ask why she left the apartment, just gives her a margarita and lets her move her bed back upstairs. Neither one has any communication skills. If one of my kids needed to move back home, of course they could, but I would be asking a few questions and I would need at least a little notice to clear some space before the furniture comes back in the door. I'm guessing the abortion will be revealed by the finale Frankie did graduate early and is working at the grocery store. Sam tries to ask her about her future plans, but Frankie ignores her and Sam lets it go. And on and on it goes, she never confronts Frankie. She just mumbles and mutters to herself. The season Frankie moved out for no apparent reason and then Sam just lets her come back home to take a bath and eat dinner, no questions asked. I'm so happy this is the final season. I used to like this show. Sam has always been bad at communicating, but there was more humor to it in the first few seasons. I really don't want to watch another cooking or margarita making montage. I don't remember if there were as many of those in the beginning seasons. It seems like Pamela is out of ideas for the show and just adds those in to fill time. I do like the actress that plays Duke. I didn't understand Sam getting offended because Duke wanted to talk and gossip with her friend in the car and not her mom. Duke is a teenager. In my experience, they like to pretend parents don't exist unless they need money or a ride. Unless they are being actively disrespectful, let them chat. Sam was obviously bothered about her ex-husband's new girlfriend. Why can't she just act like it doesn't bother her? She's an actor, right? So maybe start acting like a better parent and stop pulling all the faces and groaning. I didn't really understand what it meant to hate watch a show before, but I finally get it now. Six more episodes.
  22. Not married, but Sunny had a really rich boyfriend. She invited her friends to his home fr the weekend and they took the boyfriend's private jet. As soon as they got there, the boyfriend told Sam he wanted to introduce her to somebody. Instead of saying nice to meet you or hi, she decided to immediately freak out, take off in the golf cart and not say anything. Sunny and the boyfriend were left standing there and smiling like that's just typical Sam, isn't she quirky.
  23. The episode in an earlier season where Sam comes home early to find the girls have had a party and trashed the house, and there are no consequences. She just completely cleans up the house on her own. Why??
  24. Frankie has always been my least favorite character. Why did Frankie have such a problem with Sam picking up the phone off the ground outside the grocery store? She would rather her mom just leave it there instead of trying to return it? I'd be grateful if someone returned a phone one of my kids lost, but Frankie acts super annoyed her mom cares. Then when the power went out, Frankie sat in her room staring at her phone and repeatedly saying mom over and over again. How is that helpful? The other character I find confusing is Xander (her ex-husband). The way he is written is completely clueless and no sense of humor. Every interaction between Sam and Xander is awkward and uncomfortable. I get that they're divorced, but there must have been something about him she liked enough to have three children with him. He is just written completely lacking any self awareness or any qualities that would make him interesting.
  25. Harris will probably end up living in Louise's storage unit or possibly squatting in her condo if it hasn't been rented yet.
