Well, I was married at 22. What did I know? I did what my family did. We all pitched in and helped one another. One thing I love tho is my husband always had my back. If his mother was out of line, he told her so. He never let me down.

I’ll NEVER forget this. We envited my husbands Aunts an uncles for a bbq. It poured rain the whole day. Husband bbq in the garage and we ate in the dining room. I made coleslaw, potato salad and other side dishes. One Aunt was ripping the skin off the chicken. She didn’t eat any salads as they had mayo in them. She ate nothing. Then, she asked me why I didn’t work to help my husband out. I was over 30 yrs old with 3 little kids. What a Bitch. I went out of my way to entertain them and that’s what I got? Some people don’t know when to zip it. Thy are mean spirited. WTF? My husbands two sisters never had anyone over to eat. They were smart. Me, the schmuck tried to make it nice, but got burned.

Screw all those fancy cleaners that don’t work. For years, I still my old faithfuls .. s*** n Span, 409, Ajax and Clorox. That’s it. The others were bullshit. Oh, I love Fabuloso after I’ve cleaned the bowl. The purple one makes the bathroom smell nice.

Yes, it was a different world back then. Does anyone here ever think they would have done certain things differently back then knowing what we know now? My two married daughters don’t do a quarter of what I did in the day entertaining, cooking, etc. for relatives and friends. Not that I’m sorry, but I really knocked myself out at a young age with three little kids. Oh well .. water under the bridge.

No, never went over the mileage. Husband looked at every angle with several cars, then decided on the Kia. It’s white, looks beautiful, and the deal was good. The others are very expensive now. He investigates every angle, I just pick the color. But, if we were loaded with money, I would have went with a RAV4 which I just love. To me, it’s a much better car in every way.

Ha, so I went crazy today looking for my new Thyroid pills I just picked up at CVS. I looked hi and low in the car, in my bag, all over the house, etc. Then,for the tenth time, I looked in my purse again like a maniac,and found them in my zipper compartment, which I hardly use. I was sweating bullits. Welcome to old age. Sucks. Now, I have to always make a mental note to myself where I put things, and not be in such a hurry with everything. It’s exhausting.

When having a back pain issue, I bought Icy hot. I rubb d some on my upper back, and within an hour, I became deathly sick. It was that, as I did not inject anything or rub anything but icy hot. Never again. The only things I can use is Vicks vapo rub or Sports Creme. Beware, if you are sensitive, or even not.

I take that back. One main remote to turn tv on. Then another to switch sources, then one for the Firestick for Netflix and Prime tv. He is not technical, so leaves it up to me. Once one remote was in my purse. Oh, and pens and pads all over for grocery lists. Now, he is the Master of all grocery shopping, and I could care less. I am the banker tho, and the bills, but he is the main breadwinner. It all works out tho.

It’s the same story everyday here. We are either looking for our glasses, my cell phone, or the REMOTE. Only one remote, so we go nuts blaming one another.

I’m just wondering exactly what happened to give up a trip and get a divorce after only a few months. What is the real reason? We will probably never know. Something weird.

After leasing for 3 years, we just bought the Kia Sportage. It’s fine, not like my previous RAV4, but it’s o.k. Has everything we need, but I’m still pissed off it doesn’t have a cd player. Husband didn’t want to go the extra money for the RAV4.

This is a stretch, but each year I get Planners when I give a donation to Boys Town. Lately, they are showing Kincaid paintings on cards and planners. You could ask hem if they ever used these pictures on their planners. Who knows? Or, calendars in the Mall. They usually have many calendars of paintings.

This is not the first time either. My two oldest Grandsons .. one is still in college and works all summer to save,and the other is accomplished and works on Wall Street. Both have money. I can’t believe people would fall for this, but unfortunately, they do.
