  1. I thought they were family friends, but yeah, I have noticed a lot of "diverse" families on TV lately. That commercial gave me the creeps. I got the impression she was being stalked. At least it's not another Liberty Biberty commercial. I don't think that's footage from the original bird-clock commercial, but does this mean that singing plastic fish is going to be making a comeback soon?
  2. I've never seen that one before, but the one I used to see involved a little girl rearranging the tables in the school gym cafeteria and being all smug about it. https://www.ispot.tv/ad/Ih1_/capri-sun-together-table Was the circus in town when they shot the commercial? I am guessing she's a "celebrity" of some sort?
  3. Last night's PCoC was particularly bad. Once again, they show us dubious paranormal home video and the credulous reaction of so-called paranormal experts who declare it "authentic". I just can't... I missed the ghostly handprints segment but assume it happened after getting steamed up by someone taking a hot shower, not "out of nowhere". I had to laugh at the declaration that a UFO was "obviously" guided by intelligence b/c it was "interacting" with a "spiritual" woman recording it who just happened to be a hippy selling new age snake oil and thought it had specifically sought her out for those qualities. I also laughed at the ghost investigators employing the "Estes method", meaning you put on a blindfold and headphones playing white noise to block outside sounds in order to help the ghost talk to you, but she was clearly answering the questions her partner was asking her. Oh yeah, she also claimed the ghost was twisting her head to the side. A man retroactively saw a head peeking thru a window while he was recording inside a building he was renovating. I didn't understand why it couldn't have been a person, but I think he said the window was ten feet off the ground or too high for a person to peek into. A man claimed to have surveyence camera footage of ghost children playing with a dog. I am no digital camera expert, but I found it odd that they appeared after a car with its high beams on drove by and the blobs seemed to move the same direction as the car. I have no idea what the mermaid footage was b/c it was recorded at a landlocked lake which makes no sense; I'm going to be charitable and say it was someone practicing for a job with Wiki Wauchi show... Oh yeah, the "howling ghost" in the cemetery was obviously a stray cat.
  4. I LOL'd at what happened to Bruce Chutback!
  5. I'm not a fan of it, but I got used to it, somewhat.
  6. I was unable to find the explanation for those parking lot clouds, but I remember someone saying it was bubbles/foam coming out of parking lot sewer drains and being buoyant because of the hot air or methane from decomposing matter inside. Here's another one with a better view of the cloud.
  7. Apparently, Travel Channel plays this show all day on Fridays (along with an annoying amount of commercials and pop-ups for Discovery's streaming service, D+). One episode I remembered them playing was "Terror in Fontana". Wow, what a train wreck! At first I thought the crazy mother wearing sparkly eyeliner had some sort of supernatural Munchhausen syndrome going on, but when the son told them about the clawed demon under the bed grabbing his arm, I suspected it was a cat that no one had mentioned for some reason (I have a cat that used to hide under the bed and do that to me at night -- nothing like getting into bed in the dark and having your ankle grabbed), but as soon as the son unconvincingly claimed he hadn't set the alarm clock that went off, I knew who was really behind these shenanigans. I have the feeling there's some weird family dynamics going on with them with the way they dressed and acted. Oh yeah, Scooby Douche later caught that kid scratching the blanket with his toe but then rationalized that a spirit possessing the kid made him do it. Yeah, right...
  8. As I understand it, that's not exactly true b/c canned tuna, which is cooked, is hard to perform DNA tests on because the cooking process destroys it or makes it untestable or something. I always wondered about that claim because I think other countries don't put as much sugar in their dough as in America. I distinctly remember liking the bread in Germany better and noticing it was much sweeter when I returned. I doubt it, since she's a jerk in real life.
  9. I watched Paranormal; Caught on Camera last night and got annoyed and changed the channel when all the "experts" seriously thought some strange disk-shaped clouds were UFO's trying to disguise themselves as clouds and the footage of a cloud in a parking lot (which was explained several years ago) was preternatural. 🙄
  10. Dammit, that bitch is back in a new set of Subway commercials!
  11. I guess this was a "best of" show they made during the epidemic? I am incredulous about these people hiding their plastic surgery from anyone. I find it hard to feel sorry for the skanky woman who wanted a big butt like J-Lo and got it on impulse while on vacation in Columbia. That was horrific! The second woman had a nose that was almost flapping around on her face because it wasn't anchored correctly. I'm glad it got fixed. The obligatory kook they turn away was a girl who was obsessed with looking like the lead character from an anime cartoon about girls in prison, I think. They warned her she could die from infection after her last watermelon boob job and she promised she'd quit enlarging her boobs and shaving her nose, but it was obvious she didn't mean to keep it.
  12. Wow! Can the woman sue her doctor for not removing all that breast tissue and giving her implants that might cause breast cancer? I'm glad they were able to fix that girl's dented chin. That woman and her pimp looked ridiculous. People pay for her online porno? Yuck.
  13. I hate when it pops up during Scoobie Douche's show and I briefly think there's a ghostly hand manifesting during their investigation.
  14. After watching Friendsgiving, I am seriously wondering if Reza's going for a "Walmart Liberace" look on purpose.
  15. Only twelve? I, too, expected something similar to Vat of Acid, but I guess not, unless Rick's long game was get Morty to make a more public confession.
  16. I noticed Bravo is playing a new show featuring Lisa Vanderbucks' dog boutique and I am rolling my eyes SO hard at her b.s. about having too much integrity to sell one of her dogs to a man who clearly only wants one as an accessory at red carpet events. Guess what happened? 🙄 ETA: I realized I didn't see anyone from her restaurants on this show. Weren't a couple of couple of them doing volunteer work here? 😔
  17. A couple weeks ago, Travel Channel was playing The Phenomenon, which was about UFO's, along with a bunch of other similar shows and more than usual (I know, right?) promos for UFO shows on D+, which was weird because I've never seen UFO shows on this channel before. In retrospect, I guess that was the weekend the government released their report on UFOs, but this show (which I inferred played previously on D+) left me skeptical because they included Betty and Barney Hill, the car that was claimed to have collided with an UFO, and Roswell.
  18. Wow, I used to like Mike, but he's a real creep now. What the heck happened?
  19. Did the clown car that exploded in Reeza's house extend to the closets, or does he shop exclusively from The RealReal? Jebus, those are some fugly clothes that he wears!
  20. A brilliant parody of Captain Planet with "her children" all grown up and not very different from the eco-villains they used to fight in the original cartoon. I wonder what plans that oil shiek had for her? Meanwhile, Rick and Summer go on a bender on three doomed planets. I laughed about Rick drawing ponytails on the "Pu**y Pounders" t shirts Rick had made for Morty and him. Does this mean they've done this before? Oh yeah, I had forgotten about that! I figured it was because Planetina had become just as cynical as everyone else.
