  1. It seems as if Jill kind of retreated back to her Duggar ways once Freddie was born. I actually wouldn't be surprised if the miscarriage made her think she wasn't godly enough and thus she needed to go back to her upbringing to be more fertile.
  2. Jill's marriage is probably going through a rough time, and their finances might be taking a hit too. New baby, new job, new home, new mortgage. So she feels like shilling the app gives her some money and improve her marriage.
  3. My favorite detail about Bill and Frank was the gentle way Bill handed Frank his pills, with the little names and descriptions. Just showed how much love and trust was there.
  4. On the other hand, Bill Belichick -- fuck that guy.
  5. I really don't get the "TB is evil" school of thought. There's zero evidence the guy is evil. No evidence that he cheated on Gisele, was abusive, was negligent. His son with Bridget was raised and everyone was apparently mature and not an asshole about it, Gisele included. He was never accused of sexual assault or anything serious. He;s not Ben Rapelesberger. No evidence that he was an asshole to teammates. Most remained quite loyal to him. People hate him because he crushed their favorite teams' dreams over and over again in the playoffs and Super Bowl. But guess what -- THAT'S HIS JOB. His job is to win. People hate him because he's good. That's it.
  6. This episode was beautiful from start to finish. I loved the use of the song "This Bitter Earth."
  7. I'm Team Tom re: Gisele. Tom didn't sell insurance when they met and then became football crazed. When she met him he was a famous QB and she knew he lived, breathed, and ate football. He didn't change. Why should he give up football if that's his passion? There's no evidence he was neglectful or abusive the way many star athletes are. If she wanted her husband to be a stay at home dad, she simply chose the wrong guy/
  8. Compiler of Super Bowl rings.
  9. Greatest of All Time in football
  10. I really wish Jason had left Kori Ade earlieR. He might have developed much more jump content.

    The NBA

Kind of mind-boggling that heading into the Allstar break, 5 teams in the East have more than 30 wins, and only 2 teams in the West. I feel like the West is so weak this year.
  12. Idk why but I had this anxiety dream last night of Fenna being dognapped. I guess I've been reading more and more cases of celebrity dogs being kidnapped and held for ransom.
  13. I just watched this. Tess purposely sacrificed herself in the end so Joel and Ellie could make a break for it right?
  14. I'm mixed about Jason Brown. I admire his skating skills, his charming personality, many of his programs (like "Sinnerman"), and his awesome spins. However, he'll never be competitive in international competition, whereas traditionally US men are so deep that they are super-competitive internationally. He skated lights out at the Olympics and placed sixth. So I feel as if if there's a promising young male talent in the US, they should develop him more than Jason Brown.
  15. Just finished this episode. Will say that Joel and Sarah's relationship got me invested in them right away. What a nice dynamic between father and daughter.
  16. Superbowl should be a great game.
  17. Jesus. Cincy fans must be furious.
  18. You mean you dont want to constantly see him sulking on the sidelines?
  19. Just noticed: Ilia Malinin looks so much like Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) on General Hospital:
  20. My best friend is an Eagles fan and he's a great person but he's basically everything you think about Eagles fans.
  21. Well Ilia Malinin had a rough skate. Still enough to win, but a rough skate. I love Jason Brown's skating skills, but tht rendition of The Impossible Dream was awful.
  22. I feel like Gracie's skating simply hasn't grown at all. Her presentation is still very 2014, even though her jumps, spins, skating skills have all deteriorated. It's weird, she seems like a super-intelligent person and she could probably succeed in all sorts of things, but is stuck on skating.
  23. Isabeau seems to have that classic Eteri-girl jump technique of lurching forwards after a jump and pre-rotating a lot. She;s only 15, wonder if she'll keep her jumps. This isn't nice to say but after watching the men's SP, the ladies' FS was such a letdown. No one is really pushing the envelope, except for Amber Glenn's gutsy attempt at a 3A. Most skaters are skating to either ballads or muzak. Idk why the men in the US are so competitive, while the ladies are just not.

    The NBA

Really? I like him. I think that most NBA stars are so skilled that they don't seem real to me. But Ben's struggles with shooting and confidence make him relatable to me.
