  1. I'm liking psycho Tara as well. The whole cold fish/dead eyes performance is now kind of relevant, and I'm here for it. We all know Summer-or probably rather brave and fierce Phyllis (lol)-is going to win out, but she doesn't seem a match for Tara at all. Then again, Summer doesn't seem a match for a gas pump, so it's not saying much. I know perfectly well I was focused on this because he's a prick and I despise him, but NotBilly can't even bother saying "please" when ordering. On top of drinks they're putting up with his smarmy, sneering face, so anyone serving him deserves gratitude in spades. Chance's "target" is at a strip club, isn't it?
  2. I couldn't help but wonder today if Elena caused or otherwise anticipated Nate's allergy thing. I know, what's really different than normal, but I swear she had that knowing, psycopathic look on her face for a few moments. No Chance leaves a sweatshirt of his for when Abby REALLY has the sadz? What a tool. Devon should have just called an audible and switched the gift. It feels like Sally is now almost bullying Tara into the stupid plot. I hope they both have separate cons that they're running and get away with it.
  3. I love how they're not even pretending to disguise the hills and the LA skyline during the roof scenes. Britt and Anna being friendly is nice to watch. I've always kind of liked when people are kind to/get along well with relations of people they hate, but there's no way Anna would or should be anything more than tolerant (at BEST) of Olbrecht herself.
  4. Lol Paris, Carter can't judge Zoe? Yes he can. Zoe was owed NOTHING, and w/regards to Quinn....I believe she and Paris were talking when this was all starting, about what a lunatic Quinn could be. So if she was dumb enough to send out Quinn to do work, she deserves what she gets. I somehow came to like Shauna best out of anyone involved in this story. She's been so poised and in control when everyone's confronted her, way more so than Quinn. Thomas is like the dogged nice guy...that also made you think your child was dead. So there's that.
  5. Abby, at the end of the day your husband literally ran out on you in the middle of the night to go play hero, while you were having an existential crisis at that. Maybe this guy ain't all that (and what an egomaniac you'd have to be to think you're the only one in the world who could possibly solve some international crisis). And who TF calls home to chat while apparently in the middle of a warzone? I'm so sick of this moron and he's not even on screen. Of all her painful schemes, Sally probably played this one the best. Granted she only has to convince Eazy E, who's about to have some issues all his own. I'm also suspecting some sort of scheme with Ashland and maybe Tara. I hope so, because this actor is fantastic and is playing it really well. I vaguely remember him on GH and don't recall him being this commanding. It would be awesome if they made him this super effective quasi bad guy, but I don't know if E(go)B is going to allow one of those while he's on set.
  6. I would never like her and would still think she's a disgusting person unless shown otherwise, but she'd be watcheable (probably) outside of being a Corinthos. IMO it's that Carly/Sonny/Jason/Michael are a single protagonist unit that's the real problem.
  7. Man, this show just loves to push Carly in snarl mode without any stop to it, ever. The thing about someone like Carly, who constantly and self righteously confront people, is that sooner or later in RL they run into someone who can put them on their ass, hard. But that will never happen in PC because Carly is protected as the bravest and strongest and the truest of heart.
  8. Just once, I would like to see Intrepid Reporter/Lawyer Character get a bit down the rabbit hole but ultimately decide "You know, I'd like to find out this deep dark secret, but this has gotten too concerning and dangerous. It's not worth it and I'm moving on with my life". Done, next story. The whole Tara/Kyle thing is making me annoyed with all of the Abbots. The whole Newman/Abbott thing is getting old, and I didn't like how they collectively piled on someone like Sally who hasn't done a tenth of the awful things most of them have (and gotten away with). I don't even care if Tara is scamming everyone, and might actually think it's kind of funny at this point.
  9. This is exactly how I feel about Abby. She's usually doing something annoying or stupid, but I can't help but like her. NGL, it might just be Melissa Ordway. I have a thing with soaps where they write characters in a specific light over and over again, *specifically* exhibiting certain behavior, and somehow expect the audience to treat the character otherwise. Like ButtBiscuit. I mean, Billy is a monster. He's not some charming rogue with a good heart. He's a smug, utterly selfish person that can barely manage to keep up even a caricature of decency. Look at Lily, and look at this clown. The clock is really ticking on her getting the hell out of there before she's ruined in association. Summer, it's not working out. You stole this convex block of hair masquerading as a man from his perfectly nice and kind wife, you know he's not exactly steadfast in his loyalty and attention. His new thing is clearly forcing his new "daddy" role whether it's healthy for the kid or not. I might have some use for her if she went her own way, but...who am I kidding. She's gonna marry Kyle, something's going to happen to Tara, and the kid is gonna get de facto raised by Victor. He's not wrong, and I get it, but...Jack somehow has babies rabies, and I'm just annoyed by something about it.
  10. Repeating what everyone else has already stated really well, but at least Liam didn't look he was pleasuring himself when he was at the accident scene, unlike hairy freak Thomas when he chased a girl to her death. This is getting so obvious that I'm wondering if they HAVE TO have some way of bringing that back in...yeah right, they probably won't. I get that Thomas and to a lesser extent Ridge are just looking to assume the worst about Liam, but he clearly didn't initially come forward because Bill was now implicated and he didn't want to turn his father in. That's not at all beyond criticism, but it's not the same as him solely looking out for himself. The fact that he DID in fact do so, against Bill wishes, shows he's still better than any of those idiots.
  11. Just miss me with all this Chance Comm crap. Billy (at least as played by JT) is nothing but smug and vile, and Victor/Adam trying to do business talk comes off like a Take your Child to Work Day stint. Adam even gets to sit in the big boy chair! Three man babies hissy fighting with each other, not quite riveting TV. Poor Lily, but then again, she's volunteering herself in this mess. The main thing I keep thinking about with the Kyle/Tara thing is actually how selfish Kyle is. It's all about making sure HE gets to jump in and immediately play daddy, no matter how complicated things are going to get or how it disrupts the kid's life. There wouldn't be anything wrong with taking things slower in getting involved with Harrison, but no, can't have that. At the point where I'm just cringing when I see Sally on the screen, before she even says anything. I mean I know there are characters that never or rarely win, but wow. It's so one sided it's almost immersion breaking. She gets absolutely humiliated. Fast forwarded some shit but I think saw Victor with a rattail or something. Clearly I'm not supposed to think this, but I like Ashland better than all the other involved parties in that story.
  12. I actually like how SC has been playing this, post confession. Liam is his typical nervous wreck self, but seems to get less burdened and more confident as he starts to just go through it all and commits to what he's doing. Beyond idiotic to go in there without even a hint of a back up story for while Bill wasn't there, though. Bill, Hope DIDN'T try to get Liam to confess. She was even arguing the other way, but ultimately accepted Liam's decision. Dog move by Bill there at the end. Would have been better to avoid all this in the first place and just some a non-Justin lawyer, but still, I was impressed.
  13. Sharon with a very 1993-ish vibe today...but pulled it off. She looked great.
  14. Not that it's saying much, but Victoria has way more chemistry with Locke than I've seen her have with anyone else. The first one of her flings I saw was that Travis guy, so not sure how she did pre- that era. Getting annoyed with the whole Abbott clan for once. Jacks' speech to Ashton was a little too try hard, and nothing about Summer/Kyle is good. I don't care. What is with Sally's plan? I have to think there's more to it, bc why would she assume Summer would leave just for the job? We've already seen she can get anything handed to her if she wants. Remember when she ran Newman Dubai (lmao) or whatever it was? She has every right to hate Kummer, but Sally's character is just so beaten down and desperate that I don't even have the energy to root for her right now, either. Especially with the whole "our plans are in alighment" cliche VILLAIN! talk. Not like she has a chance in hell of getting away with it.
  15. It might just be because it's lazy and convenient for the story, but the multiple Brooke visits to Bill makes me think she's going to be busting out the money lingerie again sooner or later. At least they have chemistry (shrug) Paris annoyed me for the first time today. None, in any way, of your business. It'd be one thing if it were directed at Quinn if she knew Quinn was lying to Zoe (not that IGAF), but this is just someone she "knows" Carter was freely involved with. So careful with that shade.
  16. Because it proves "he's good". His actual words, although I don't know what TF that's supposed to mean. Considering today he was having a gigglefest behind his future ex-fiance's back, kind of thinking this is not a relationship that's meant to last. Enough with letting Zoe hold court over and over again. And Zoe, the gall..."No one woman could ever get over Carter, so I don't believe you". Idiot, YOU got over Carter. You thought he was an annoying old bore, and wanted to "test out" Zende. Quinn and Carter both owe Shauna big time, and it was past time they said something instead of leaving her to hang out there. Kind of surprised none of the characters have yet discussed that if Liam goes to the police, Bill's going down. Which, he deserves to, but Liam/Hope need to consider what he might do stop them from going to the cops. And he's not asking, he's "telling"? TF outta here. Bizarro outfits aside, AN is looking absolutely lovely.
  17. I did an audible, Michael Scott level- "ugh" when I saw the thing Zoe was wearing. Or maybe it was wearing her, IDK. To echo one of the earlier comments, it was jarring to see the two separate storylines on the same day. I kind of like it better that way because both of them have had way too many redundant conversations as time filler.
  18. Here's me in the UO corner, but I was glad that Hope really didn't blame Liam. Yes, he's wrong for not telling her sooner, and for being incapable of having agency as a grown man..... but it's like saint level on Forrester/Spencer terms to actually tell her at all before he had to. Bill put him in a truly horrible situation, and he didn't want his dad to go to jail, so I get that. I'll probably never be unentertained by Bill, but he's starting to get his crazed vibes like during the whole Steffy shitshow, and he SUCKED during that story.
  19. Somehow Nick, despite being at least mid-40s or however old he's supposed to be, has the aura of an overmatched teen father. This is the guy they have win every WTD situation? The Phyllis grandstanding is getting old. Can someone just cut her off during one of her big threatening speeches since we've heard it 100 times already. I'm really hoping she and Nick break up soon. Two characters that have a force multiplier effect of dislike when they're together. I think Jack is just excited about a possible new family member, and is getting ahead of himself. I don't know what PB's deal is on this front, but I wish they would bring in or at least acknowledge his other son. At this point, Nate should know what he's dealing with, so no further sympathy. How can he really not have other options? I've started FFing anything Victor related, but I quickly saw the constipated I Am Very Badass Face and Weekend at Bernie's pose. Seems like that's the important stuff, but hey, I'm happy to hear if I missed anything else.
  20. They'll never go there, but I would take some sort of Carly as a mob boss story IF somehow it broke up the Sonny/Jason/Carly dynamic. I mean I'd rather see them all gone, or at least MB. But if one of the party could wind up despising the others- and for good- t would end their little cult faux bad ass "family" and open things up a bit. Kind of like how Sonny and Carly got more tolerable when Michael hated them, JUST for the sheer fact that they were being rejected by someone close to them.
  21. This isn't necessarily apropos of anything that happened on the most recent episode, but the constant "Abby is getting a call from Chance" is so annoying. The guy left his wife and their supposed "family" and all the superhero agent whitewashing doesn't change that IMO. I begrudgingly started thinking the character was doing ok for a bit, but him being gone and hearing about these stupid calls actually makes me glad he's gone and not want him back. At least not as the original actor or, I hate to say it, MO's husband.
  22. Michael/The Corinthii are going to somehow someway end up adopting or taking the Brando baby at some point, aren't they?
  23. IKR? Especially since the character appears to be showing up again anyway. Tara sounds way too "Midwestern suburban woman asking for various price adjustments" for me to take her seriously or have any interest in her presence. Mariah is too good for GC. I can't help but like both her AND Abby, so of course this story is probably going to wind up with them hating each other at some point. I have no complaints about the Sharon/Rey scenes- liked them a lot.
  24. Spoilers notwithstanding (I haven't read any so I don't know either way), I wouldn't at all be sure that this is the end of Quarter. Carter was something else today. As someone already mentioned, that quasi breakdown was weird borderline disturbing. I'm totally on board that he owes Zoe nothing (and hearing her interrogate everyone was so grating). But, he's basically getting back with her to prove that HE is good, and that's fucked up. Let her go, and she deserves to be let go, but reuniting with someone on that sort of pretense is like really really bad on a moral level, imo. Zoe's face during the Carter meltdown, I just can't. She was like, "what the fuuucck is going down right now", with good reason.
  25. Zoe: Am I just the biggest fool? Is everyone laughing at me behind my back? Yes. Not gonna lie, I am surprisingly enjoying this story. It's not a high bar given the alternative (Liam or anything Thomas ever), but it's fun to watch. there's real chemistry between all the parties involved, and I'm looking forward to the dumb reveal for Zoe/Eric. What is up with Ridge making sense so often lately? I really don't like him, and he'll likely say something smug and self righteous again at any moment, but I have to give credit where it's due.
