  1. For me, it's that I could see how the situation he's found himself in sucks, not really based off anything he actively did. Abby went to him to parent the kid when she went off on her little field trip, and he had pretty good reason to believe Hero Boy was in fact dead. I can get how he saw himself in a de facto parent role that he now won't be able to have to the same extent, and being disappointed about that. If he keeps continuously pouting or tries anything,.... well, a. I don't want to hear it, and b. yeah, I'd change my opinion, but I'm fine with his reaction so far.
  2. ButtBiscuit only annoyed me about 10% today, in his beginner's kit approximation of a grownup. Gotta start somewhere, I guess. God, I can't stand Abby at this point. Shut up about your self righteous "intuition". You don't have any. You were raised to think you get everything you want in the end, and you got lucky on this one, end of story. Yikes, NuChance does indeed look really young. It's not that it's inappropriate or anything, but it makes the dynamic with him and Abby pretty weird. I do feel bad for Devon. He did get a little sus a few weeks ago with his Baby Whisperer campaign, but when it came to it he was respectful of all the relevant parties, and Abby's the one who dumped Tater off with him. Now of course she probably won't give two shits that he was made de facto father of his in fact bio son, now that her underage husband is back. Jess Walton is a force of nature.
  3. Shiiit, Billy is vile. Man baby doesn't even begin to describe it. And dude if you're going to be such a screw up, at least be funny or original. All he does are passive aggressive apologies for his selfishness, and then lash out on people who still manage to care about him (Jill, Jack, etc) when they actually treat him like an adult. Lily should have known it was WAY too much to ask that he wouldn't throw a temper tantrum about working for her, when they both know that's how it should be. All that said. Whatever, Victor. As others have more eloquently stated, the whole silver spoon thing is the least of reasons to hate Billy. But it's a great reason for your own pity party about your orphanage days, so go off. I'm glad Ashley let Jack in on secret. But Jack...Cricket, really? The lady that gleefully sends forlorn agents to their deaths/doom, a la Dylan, Scott, Chance, etc. At this point, all I can think is that Abby and Chance should never have been married in the first place. She clearly wasn't going to be able to handle his apparent career, and he shouldn't have agreed to starting a surrogacy with something like this potentially hanging over his head. They're both idiots and IDC anymore. Happy for Nina getting her son back, though Jill is the highlight of the show right now for me. She's absolutely lovely and just brings it to every scene- I want to listen to every word she says. And, I know Kim was just being nice. But Abby being smarter than, just about anyone....
  4. True. But he signed off on the whole thing, knowing that *someone* not him would be the donor, and then took off in the middle of the night with a B Back Soon K Bye letter.
  5. Was I supposed to feel emotional about the joyous reunion? I guess I was, if disappointment that this clown is alive counts. Nu NoChance finds out about "his son", now has the opportunity to go home and meet his family in turmoil, but will risk his life again solely for revenge and his own ego. What a guy.
  6. This is how break ups work at "that age", according to Nick. Isn't Noah like 32, though? I guess maybe Nick's just projecting from himself, the most immature person of the family. Surprised he didn't take Noah for some beer pong and wings. I agree that Faith really shines with other family members, and not at all with Moses. Tessa is adorable, and this show better not make Jack and Ashley fight EVER again.
  7. Count me in with being pleasantly surprised about Jack going along on the trip. The guy needs something to do, and showing some initiative in something- anything- away from Phyl is a good sign. CK is another one of those that I don't think gets quite enough credit as an actress. She does probably phone it in sometimes. But she really sold that visceral, boiling over anger and frustration today. Cannot stand how Buttbiscuit talks to Jack. Whenever he doesn't get his ass kissed, he lashes out. I'd feel sorry for almost anyone else in this situation, because I think most of us know that horrible, helpless feeling when every decision one after another goes wrong. But not him, not until one of these "lessons" actually sinks in and he grows up. I really hope Victor doesn't wind up getting mad at Devon. Whatever else about these two, they have a great bro chemistry.
  8. Was Devon flirting with Nikki during their scene yesterday? I'm not sure what they were going for, but what the hell, at this point. It also looked like ButtBiscuit was manspreading to Victor during their "dramatic" confrontation yesterday. Pretty much just observing wholly inappropriate things in an attempt to make this show entertaining.
  9. If Abby's selfish high heeled paseo over to Spain winds up being vindicated, with her True Lurve instincts finding her equally selfish husband, I'll nope the F out. Actually preferred to watch Phyllis today over this ridiculous story. I can't think of another standard or lack thereof to emphasize how bad that is.
  10. I thought the same thing. Wanted her to just shut up today. Such an odd thing to get all demanding about, when Adam's easily helped her out more than anyone else in GC. Getting involved in this aggravates an already unfriendly Victor, and jeopardizes one of like 1 and 1/2 people in town who don't hate her.
  11. What a dumb scene at the park, where Abby didn't pay attention to the baby. And Dominic was crying, too. Ok so Devon pretty much gave away the game today- he's got baby rabies too. Maybe not yet to the level of Mariah encouraging Abby to go get killed in Spain, but nonetheless. These two realize that being part of the "team" was just a fun slogan, right? You don't actually get to take the kid away from his mother- who is annoying the hell out of me, but still- because she's processing grief? Is this whole thing about negative vibes affecting an infant an actual thing? It's Abby crying, not an abusive household or anything close to that. I wouldn't know and thought to ask, but I suspect it's Rev. Devon and Mariah's ready made excuse more than anything. Congrats, they've officially taken all enjoyment out of watching scenes with Jack. It's not PB's fault, but I cringe when he comes on at this point. As much as Phyllis is a slag heap and he should stay far away, this whole thing would be much better if he just had some healthy attitude and respect for *himself*.
  12. Somehow this Search for Agent D-Bag storyline is more enraging than the surrogacy. It's making me extremely dislike both Abby and Mariah, two characters that were favorites of mine. Two lunatics vying with each other over how selfish and mind warped they can be. At least Devon had legit arguments and pushback today instead of his usual bromides. But dude, Abby's son should have literally been the first and only card you played to get her to come to her senses. Has Nikki been (hopefully) drinking? For all the hounding she does of Adam, she's married to a literal Grandpire who takes pleasure in making people's lives miserable. In fact, I really don't get how we're supposed to believe Adam is in need of redemption while Victor of all people gets to walk around getting his ass kissed.
  13. I have to admit, very painfully, that today was the type of acting MS is good at. Expressive, emotional, but not utterly hysterical and into herself. Which means we'll probably never see it again, and she'll be flapping her arms half clothed tomorrow, but credit where it's due for now. I really hate the role Jack has to play in this. He comes off as such a weak, needy man, and I don't get how anything good happens out of this for him.
  14. To some of your points, the way everyone is pushing Abby to move on just telegraphs that Chance is alive. Hooray, I guess. Not exactly subtle, but I'm not sure the writing is even trying on this one. MO is underrated as an actress, IMO, but I don't think anyone could save this from being absolute crap right now.
  15. It's really jarring how obviously MS has to try to put her "character" (herself) over as some fierce, hot bombshell. Whatever their other flaws, I don't think any other actress on the show comes close to doing this, and it's gross. We're lucky we didn't get oxymoronic thought bubbles above Nick's befuddled expression today, filled with Xbox, Doritos, and monster movies as he's being questioned. But then maybe that would get it through both of these middle aged idiots heads' that they have nothing in common and probably don't even like each other. It's weird but whenever Abby and Victor share scenes, they don't have any father/daughter chemistry to me. While Victor certainly does with Victoria. Tessa is probably my favorite character on this show at the moment, so just waiting for the hammer to drop and her doing something ridiculous and out of character.
  16. Yeah, Abby, Chance did in fact knowingly abandon you. Sorry. I don't know where this is going besides nowhere, since it probably involves meta issues regarding casting. But if Hero Boy got himself blown up, it's a consequence of how selfish and terrible a choice he made. Ah, that's the Sharon I know. Doing her weird ass high as a kite/innocent Rhine maiden routine everytime she gets confronted about Adam. If Shadam really is endgame because of SC's antics or demands, then just do it already instead of this complete waste. All that said, I did think SC looked really good today.
  17. The only thing I got out of Nick/Phyllis today...I'm never quite seen a situation where two characters bring up some legit points against the other, but I hate them both and the points make me hate them both even more. Nick responding to Phyllis questioning where he just was- "Nowhere interesting". Truer words never spoken from this manchild.
  18. Ahahaha, Lauren, too bad, so sad. It's disturbingly petty how entertained I was seeing this shrew so upset and bitter. Chloe has a business to run, and neither she nor Sally owe you shit. Doesn't her old ass department store have logistics problems right about now? Nick actually makes Victor look even tempered and reasonable. Wow. Hope Noah packed Dad's diapers for the trip, since he seems to be the more mature party here. If Jack were smart, he'd give Phyllis her purse back, and stay in Italy and never look back.
  19. I am so sick of Jack and how he's being written in this story. I want him to get a win and get what we wants, even if it's Phyllis for some Godforsaken reason. If he just went for it and told Phyllis he wanted her and for Nick to fuck off, I could live with that. But he's so sickeningly passive aggressive nice guy dbag in this whole thing, it's so cringe and emasculating and I can't deal. They were pretty annoying otherwise, but I really liked Nate/Elena just being kind to Sally for a moment. I don't buy into the mythos of Victor as being so scaryyyy and king shit. Yet, ButtBiscuit is so painfully outclassed and outmatched in every scene where he tries to "confront" him. Maybe a pointless detail, but I like how named characters are in the background interacting while other characters are having their scene. Just makes everything seem so connected and realistic.
  20. Lol, Phyllis. You hate the bride and her family, and your underage boyfriend is mad at them, too. Then why are you even there, moron? Her past is legit worse than Ashland's, so hilarious she'd try to go there. Nick is such a putz. It's especially clear after today that he wants all the benefits of being a Newman, without having to get his hands dirty and to act like he's above it all. I'd totally get wanting to rid yourself of such an abhorrent, scummy family, but he's not willing to do that because he's an absolute chump. I'm probably hearing things that aren't there and this would be some serious effort, but I swear that when Ashland confronted Gaines, his voice changed into some vague slight NJ accent. Jack, grow up. Or do we need another dream from Mommy to get your life in order? Going to completely, utterly alone at my table here after saying....Tessa and NuNoah have chemistry, and I'm starting to think I wouldn't be mad.
  21. So, Gaines threatening to just release all the Locke crimes publicly... was it implied that there's supposed to be something new about Ashland in it, that we don't know? Or just that this would "ruin" the company or whatever? I might need this one explained to me like I'm Summer, unfortunately. What was with Josh Morrow's bizarre acting choices recently? He's never seemed particularly impressive, but TBH I don't think he really *needs* to be with this character. Today was just weird though. Like he was doing a middle school play, complete with the exaggerated arm folds emphasizing every OTHER word. Didn't think I would like new Noah at first, but he seems pretty good. Kind of interesting how he seems to have that same, slightly different, sounding voice or accent that RA does.
  22. I think that tux would have been a disaster on most people, but Loche/RB pulled it off IMO. Given some of the previews I thought it was gonna be horrific, but was pleasantly surprised to like Victoria's dress. It really was a good design for her. I mean all the talk about how stunning it was was a little over the top, but I'm fine with that if it can give Sally a win. Also surprised at how much more I'm liking Adam lately. They're actually letting MG show some charm and personality, and tbh I didn't think he had any. Much better than the mumbling bad boy routine. Please, get off Summer off this show. She's absolutely worthless. Phyllis looked and acted like a pilled up vamp walking into the wedding. But as much as I hate how stupid and weak Jack is in this story, she does look right with him. "Hooo are yuuuuu?"- frat boy Nick walking off his time out session is the one to find Gaines? Oh boy.
  23. Could Nick live down to his manbaby expectations any more than he did today (yes, in advance, I'm sure he could and will)? Typical asshole who begrudgingly apologizes and gets pissy when they're not immediately forgiven. Victoria letting him stay at all was generous enough, but I'm sure she'll wind up apologizing to HIM, since he always gets away with everything.
  24. It's worth it for ButtBiscuit getting destroyed, but unfortunately Summer will come out of it just fine and be treated like a victim. When she was somehow even more inappropriate and harassing then he was.
  25. GH is like the abyss at the end of the world- MB's grotesque Sonny (plus Carly) make Victor, Phyllis, Buttbiscuit, etc. look like angelic beings of light in comparison.
