  1. Additionally, Armando may have been the only "parent," back home, but we saw a "village" of female relatives (grandmother, aunts, cousins, friends) who loved Armando, loved Hannah, and made sure she was a loved, loveable, and educated little girl. I fear that the cozy "family" of Kenny and Armando is not going to equal the love, security, culture, and FUN she had. (Hannah is six years old and goes to school.)
  2. I agree. Having had a c section myself, being unable to walk for a few days, let the girl take a cab home. I was SO LUCKY. I had an emergency C-Section in 1968. Got to stay in the hospital SIX DAYS! The baby was born around midnight, and I was on a pay phone in the hall (pay phone!) the next day. A guy walked past me, down the hall, peered into my room, then came out and yelled, "Where is Mrs. _____?" I said, "I'm here." He said, "Are you an Amazon? What are you doing out of bed?" I said, "There's no phone in my room." Oh...the good old days: no phone, but six days of rest and help with the baby.
  3. I saw it a different way. She knows "aisle." She saw that "runway" as a runway...and she explained to Jihoon she expected an aisle. I'm interested to see how a wedding (in that particular room) could take an hour. Is there a separate reception room? Is food served? Inquiring minds want to know."
  4. Many people in the U.S. use a "family doctor." Perhaps it's the same in Ethopia. It may have been smallpox...but I don't know either. He spoke to her that way before the baby was born. He's from a culture where the man (no matter the man) is THE MAN OF THE HOUSE. It's too bad Production doesn't find The First Mrs. Baby and learn some of the reasons she left. She may be watching a rerun of her life along with us. So we have an Ethopian Orthodox Christian BOSS-MAN (with a huge family)and an insecure spoiled Jewish American along in a foreign country. This isn't going to end well.
  5. Well...he might, but it's not going to be the easier snip-snip that happens to a poor little boy baby. Ask a man who owns one!
  6. Is Matt contractually obligated to badmouth/downgrade Amy on this show...even though he's in Arizona and not dealing with her at all?
  7. Rob the Teddy Bear? I think/hope you meant Pete. And since most of Pete's scenes (and even glimpses of him) were removed by Bravo after Pete made (allegedly) racist and sexist posts on social media, we probably missed The Worst of Pete. But...does Barbara Please really mean Rob?
  8. Can you imagine how TOM would handle CAPT. Sandy lurking in the kitchen (just walking through) and watching his every move? Lurking near the table while the guests were eating and asking them about every bite. Can Capt. Sandy be replaced? Please?
  9. YOU asked the simple question NONE of these people (or Production) ever ask themselves!!!
  10. I think of that every time the car seat is mentioned. Still, that's probably the most expensive thing they'll need (after the car). I try to not watch the previews or those "new" shows with bonus features. It makes the "first-run" shows look like repeats. Anyway, I thought Yazan's father fired him. Does he have his job back? Someone else hired him?
  11. They're both ignorant...and SHE is a needy basketcase. POOR BABY #1. ig·no·rant adjective lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated.
  12. That happened to one of my boys.
  13. Yeah, they bought NOTHING for the baby. Apparently she expects her parents to do provide ALL baby equipment/needs, so her father might as well do the bris.
  14. Thanks, Biabiak. I found this: "Not to be confused with the famous ice hockey player, Sean Burke is a businessman, entrepreneur, and reality television personality. He's the current President of Channelstars, California Green Information Technology, and Kalotech. He's also the owner of Govplace and serves on the Advisory Board of FAMEOS. "He received a Bachelor of Economics and Business/Managerial Economics at University of California Santa Barbara. AT UCSB, he also studied Japanese and accounting. Currently, he volunteers at the Orange County School of the Arts, where he serves as a Foundation Board Member."
  15. I saw that too but because I weaned myself from the Housewives franchise, I had no idea who she was. Looked her up; still no idea. Looked up the husband...even less, although he played professional hockey for (maybe) every team in the U.S. and Canada. What was interesting about her "association" with Sandy is that ALL the people helping Braunwyn with her sobriety (of fewer than 45 days, right?) are "stars" of some sort--some of whom she barely knew. No rehab. No professionals...AND a lot of her "help" will be filmed on BRAVO at her request. Now THAT is needy....
  16. I love them when people write, "What typo?" I'd guess everyone at the top is a jerk and/or asshole (Andy Cohen) and those trying to move up simply model what they see and THEN they hire/coach the same types as "talent."
  17. YEAH! Say it again. Tom was moody+cranky with a capital "B" for BITCH!!! We've seen moody chefs with superiority attitudes, but put them all together and they don't equal Tom's antics. Did Chef Sandy watch the shows?
  18. Maybe we're seeing the previews of "Designs by Tyra," but nothing has been announced. How thrilling!!! (sarcasm) (Sometimes people don't get me.)
  19. If ONLY Ari had this common sense. I was never given pro's or con's. I was asked if we wanted our baby boy circumcised and I said yes. Wouldn't it be a simple yes/no question/answer...or is this the "capital" Against Medical Advice, where one must sign a waiver?
  20. Even though the technique may be "the same way," it's surely not a Jewish ceremony. An Episcopal minister could say the same words as a Catholic priest for a Catholic wedding, but it wouldn't be a "Catholic marriage."
  21. I wouldn't consider it a "fad." There have always been Americans who refuse to get their babies circumcised (not for religious reasons). Here's some 'net info: "Nationwide, rates of circumcision have dropped about 10 percent over the past 30 years." Maybe the next episode will bring up her religious belief...or her concern.
  22. I've found this to be true as well. It just isn't translating, and to me he seems almost awkward without the ice. It's hard for me to watch. What's sad is that he has a cocky personality. It's obvious that he's uncomfortable--too bad he can't just let himself go. REALLY TOO BAD that he didn't get a better partner. That will be his undoing.
  23. Both commenters might agree with my opinion that EVEN THE CREW doesn't like Tyra. Maybe she was haughty around them and they decided to show her who's boss.
  24. We can only HOPE she learns. She may consider herself extremely talented and successful and sees no reason to change her performance style. She'll need the right agent, coaches, parents, and some incentive...because it will take work! I've never watched her show, but her appeal disappeared on this one very quickly.
  25. She probably thinks she's an Academy Award level AC-tress. She does not have what it takes. Someone VOTE HER OFF!! How do you think those of us who have NEVER liked her feel?
