I think it's more like 3 1/2 years. Jessa is 2 1/2 years older than Ben, Claire almost 2 years older than Duddy. Heck, Katey has about 6 months on Jed! There's precedent for older women.

I still question where all that money came from in a relatively short amount of time. Or were they actually better off than he likes to portray it? That's not the story Boob tells of himself as a young adult. He speaks of working multiple jobs to make ends meet (remember stocking shelves at the grocery store and the pantry at the TTH). If it was doing so well, why was Mary managing a yogurt shop? She had a RE license. So many holes in their story...
