  1. Season 15, Episode 7 - The Incorrigible Dr. Ogden An excellent episode. I love when Julia gets stuff to do because she is smart and an awesome detective as well as doctor. It's just a shame that she doesn't do as much now that she's no longer part of the Station House. Julia and William should set up a husband and wife detective agency. A new man for Watts? Please let it be so!! Season 15, Episode 8 - Murdoch Knows Best Here I spent the whole episode thinking that this was some sort of test Terrence Meyers set up for Murdoch and co. Loved seeing Julia do more detective work again. I love Julia, giant dork as she is, and she needs more to do! TERRENCE MEYERS HAS A SECRET ROOM BEHIND A BOOKSHELF!!!!!! He is now instantly my favourite minor character of all time ❤️ (sorry James Pendrick, if you build yourself a secret room, you'll be #1 again). Season 15, Episode 9 - The Lady Vanishes Oh Lord, I'm with Murdoch on being done with Newsomes and Mimico. I wish Rupert and Lucinda had managed to off each other, or at least both ending up in jail. Do like Julia getting drunk and trying to change the world with Effie.
  2. This pissed me off so much, especially that Abigail would go along with it after what Crystal Steele put her family through last week. And what's to stop the husband from coming after her once the TV deal goes through? It wouldn't take much work to figure out the deal was in the works before the settlement agreement. Yeah, that was...not good. I wonder why she pushed for a quick marriage? He definitely appreciates Abigail's more mercenary side, compared to Daniel's. I'm surprised that Daniel thinks he can make partner while condemning his father's cutthroat approach to the firm. He's accusing Abigail of changing the culture of the office when it's pretty obvious that Harry is embracing that change, especially when it brings in more money.
  3. Maggie: If anyone here has reason to object, speak now or forever hold your peace. Victor: *slowly raises hand* Justin: Don't even think about it. Victor: Worth a try. 😂😂😂 HDU call Bonnie "Dollar Store Dolly Parton", writers! Dolly is a legit angel from Heaven and Bonnie is...not.
  4. That, or they could have left stupid Jake down there...
  5. I loved everything about today. Well, Deimos was dull as dirt, but Charlie! Nick! Both of them were fabulous. I loved that Nick has undead telepathic GPS 😂 I also love that he BURIED STUPID JAKE ALIVE. Oh please please please let it be true. Lol, now I want this so bad. I mean, why else have that scene between Kate and Julie? She'll probably think it's a miracle from God that poor innocent Nick has been returned from the grave. Man I've missed Charlie. He was so much fun to watch today, even though it was with Allie.
  6. Goddamn I love MarDevil. She brought Charlie back! She made out with zombie Nick Fallon! I wish she had brought back Stefan; that would have massively messed with Gabi, plus it would give Brandon Barash something fun to do. Gabi needs to SHUT THE HELL UP. Even stupid Jake looked like he was done with her.
  7. Couldn't handle stupid Ben and Ciara today. Did anything interesting happen today? Was MarDevil gloriously hammy again? Was EJ confusingly sexy again?
  8. Gabi tells Rafe he should be looking at Ava and Philip for bringing Carmine to Salem, insulting Ava in the process (she said something about how Ava only has sex with him and makes lasagna). Rafe looks constipated at this news. Ave 'intimidates' Carmine the goon by saying she's still the boss 😂 and they leave the K mansion. Philip shows up at Chloe's hotel room. They just look at each other. Brady is all offended that Lucas would accuse him of sleeping with Chloe and decides to warn her that Philip might go all batshit again. He leaves the room to grab his phone, and Kristen the fugitive just waltzes in the front door. Nic shows up at EJ's door.
  9. I love how they just sit on a pew and just chat, for like half the episode.
  10. Oh god, Ben/Ciara and Gabi/stupid Jake sharing screen time? What is this revisionist history bullshit, Gabi??? "Wah, Philip is trying to steal my company!" BECAUSE YOU TRIED TO STEAL HIS FIRST, FOR YOU AND YOUR STUPID STUPID BOYFRIEND!!!! Eli and Lani are just so so pretty. It's a shame they're so so boring. I enjoyed MarDevil trolling Paulina. Me at the end: please let stupid Jake get shot, please let stupid Jake get shot, please...DAMN IT, STUPID JAKE.
  11. Kate and sassy Philip were excellent, and then adding sassy Lucas just sweetened the pot. I love that Kate told Philip to calm down on the raging jealousy and he called her out on faking blindness and amnesia for stupid Jake. Did not appreciate the end tho. Hopefully Lucas can reason with Philip and there won't be another confrontation. 🤞 MarDevil 😈 was gloriously over-the-top bad and I am here for all of it.
  12. Agreed. It was cheesy as fuck, but seeing all those scenes had me flashing back to being 15 and skipping French class for weeks on end because it was must watch TV. 😂 And it looks like Deirdre's going to have fun with it. Must be a thousand times better than playing the boring sanctimonious Ben-loving Marlena.
  13. More and more I wonder how much of Harry and Abigail's estrangement came from her mother keeping them apart, rather than him just being a shitty father. Ha! I loved that. I don't get Daniel's issue, but he's lost a little of the moral leg to stand on.
  14. It's been like two months since I watched and the minute I saw stupid Jake's face, all the hatred rushed back. IDEK what's going on anymore, but I know deep in my heart of hearts, that Jake is the absolute worst. Goddamnit Philip is still getting a raw deal. Fuck right off with that nonsense show, let Philip be happy!
  15. Chad, just because Jake and Gabi are the worst, doesn't mean that you aren't a trash garbage fire yourself. I'm sick of your lame-ass whining.
  16. Bottle episode! I found this one genuinely spooky, until they ended it way too soon. The tension was there! There could have been more little snippy moments, which could have been from the situation, or from the ghost/demon thing. We didn't get any truths from Father Phil, or Zooey, or Luke, which is the one I wanted most. I also wasn't a fan of adding Megan to the mix. The scariness kinda ramped itself down after that. They could have cut that whole awards sequence, or added it to another episode. That said, I did like the ending. The Roman Agency showing up for Susan after everyone else was so bitchy to her was A-plus. I love that Susan's mom told Bob Livingston to "die in a fire." Yeah, that was...stupid? Like, come on, they all flipped out when Megan showed up, they're not gonna suddenly forget that she's not there. Yeesh. But I guess they needed some way to set up that ending. That was quite the dream Luke had.
  17. Angry, vengeful Luke was hot. That's all I have to say.
  18. I almost skipped this one, because I'm not a fan of ghost children, but I ended up really liking it. Yay for some character development for Father Phil! I thought Adam Korson did a fantastic job showing the pain and the anger and the exhaustion of both the church's rejection of him and his rejection of the church. As someone who's struggled a lot with faith vs religion, I really liked that he could feel all these emotions and yet still want that security that the church used to give him. Otherwise the ghost story was a little meh, which is okay to me because I don't need dreams of scary giggling ghost children. Poor little George. All he wanted was a mom to hug and a friend to play with. I was a little surprised how emotional Luke got at the end there, encouraging George to go to sleep and move on. He knows it's best for the spirit. I guess he identifies too much with feeling abandoned. I meant to mention that. Does Luke own the whole town? Or is he just in charge of turning off the lights everywhere? The sign outside of the bowling alley said "Funland" which was the name of the park from the pilot (where he was in the batting cage). My guess is it used to be Luke's father's place and he inherited when Dad passed on. It could be it's a whole complex with kiddie rides, mini golf and a bowling alley and Luke's dad is 'haunting' it. My nitpick is similar to the cabin episode, in that those orphanage pictures should have been 30 or 40 years older. Not saying there wasn't orphanages in the 60s, but I think the church-run places where girls 'in trouble' could discreetly have a baby were few and far between. Those pictures looked more like they were from pre-WWII to me. Also, those places were not happy places for any children or expectant mothers. They were often shamed for their 'sins' and treated horribly. The Roman Agency were lucky they got lonely little George, instead of an angry and hurt child who had been beaten and neglected.
  19. Philip is like the only reason I watch anymore. He was really weird, starting that fight with Chloe over Brady, but he smartened up and they were pretty cute at the end. Lucas deserves better. EJ was ice fucking cold; I don't like him but damn it was fun watching him these last couple days. With Sami gone, I hope he goes back to being irrelevant (wishful thinking...). Good for you, because stupid Jake was the GODDAMNED WORST today. I absolutely HATE that disgusting chauvinistic bastard SO MUCH. 🤬🤬🤬
  20. Shut up EJ. Don't call Lucas a simp. Why don't you go cry to Chad about how much it sucks to be cheated on. Shut up Sami. You think Nicole's not allowed to be mad? You just yelled at EJ for being hypocritical about cheating with Abby. Shut up Rafe. Not that you really said anything, I just don't like you. Shut up Ava. Let Gabi and stupid Jake move out to some crappy apartment. It's not your damn house anyway. Shut up Jake. Of course you'd think kidnapping is romantic. I hate you so much. You and Ben deserve each other. Shut up Gabi. Philip has been nothing but awesome to you and you want to kick him out and put stupid Jake in control? Shut up Ciara. Just hike down until you get some cell service and leave stupid Ben to die. Shut up Ben. I hate you more than stupid Jake.
  21. The humour is back! I enjoyed this episode a lot. I find master planned suburbia creepy so it was nice that August and Phil validated my feelings lol. I liked that Luke was able to solve the case without the ghostbusting. That little gizmo August made is going to come back in a future episode though. So the other real estate guy was pissed off that the only fix was to renovate the sunrooms at the company cost, and that's why he refused to do any more business with Roman Agency, right? Holy shit, YES. If it had been me, I would not spend one more moment in that house. Although, the influencer seemed more blasé than Susan. I thought maybe she didn't remember what had happened, but I guess she was more worried about the water pressure and the ceiling paint. I was all ready to write a big rant about how annoyed I was with Susan and Zooey sniping at each other again, but I'm guessing they're making sarcasm and insolence Zooey's personality trait, and the sniping stopped after the bonding session and the badass fireball. I'm not saying I want them to be besties, but it's not really a good look to have the two female leads in an antagonistic relationship. Ooo, that's better than my theory that she's somehow involved. I love that she texted him about "ghosting" her, that was downright clever.
  22. A couple of things I had questions about on rewatch: Granny Sam's dress. Harper isn't that old; let's say she's 35. She has clear memories of Granny Sam. If it's 2021 in show'verse time, then Granny Sam most likely died sometime in the 90s. So why is she dressed like she's Great Great Great Granny Sam? I get that the old timey dress gives off more of a spooky vibe, but it kinda threw me. Where is this show set, Canada or the States? The horror writer wanted the scariest house "in 12 states". Luke said in the pilot he grew up in Southern California, but Susan was able to show his childhood house nearby? Harper's grandmother came from Saskatoon and she was catching a train to a provincial park. A lake house like that would only be called a 'cottage' by Ontarians. I know it's a Canadian production, but they're being frustratingly vague on the setting. Or am I just overthinking things? 😂
  23. Yes! The pilot was really good in that regard. I liked the scene at the beginning, when Luke susses out that Harper's been messing with potential clients by acting all fake spooky. They need to keep going with that. I love Melanie Scrofano in Letterkenny, and she was great here. I liked Harper and Luke bonding; they had a great rapport. Argh, Susan, I am trying to like you! But when you have a repeat client, it makes sense to go over the old files, especially when you've been told he's eccentric (by your somewhat eccentric boss lol). I hope we get more of Zooey and Susan working together, because I like what we've seen of Zooey. Speaking of, give your supporting cast more to do than being quirky personality tropes! I hope we get an origin episode of how the Roman Agency came to be, instead of the five minute exposition story on each person that we'll probably get instead. I want to know more about Father Phil and August please! I'm glad they didn't prolong the 'will they, won't they' with Luke and Megan. The only way I'm here for that is if she's somehow involved in whatever's going on with her house. So Luke is some kind of medium, seeing ghosts around that others can't? And that's why his mom took off? Or maybe his mom's just a bitch? That was ice cold, what she said.
  24. Isn't that how old EJ would be if he hadn't been SORASed? 😂
  25. I liked this episode, although I agree with @Johann that the humour was missing. I'm ambivalent on Susan. I know she's the audience surrogate so we can get the little exposition bits every episode relevant to whichever spooky we're dealing with every week, but dang Luke, maybe you really should prioritise the orientation a little more. Susan's job is to sell the house. If you tell her to not to do the things she needs to do to sell the house, but don't tell her why, then...what good is she? Either give her the information she needs or sell the damn house yourself. Totally agree. The business was successful way before you got there, Susan! They must be doing something right. I like Luke in ghostbusting mode. He seemed more...real? Maybe because he showed some real emotion, rather than being exposition guy. I didn't mind Susan teasing him about having a crush on Megan because he very clearly does. I don't think it will end well for him there, because I feel like there's more to Megan than just her being the house's owner.
