Don't worry too much about the driving scenes being dangerous. The Corvette has a car behind whose job it is to keep Gerry in front of them, but hang back enough so that they don't appear to be too prominent. You can see them back there approaching when Gerry initially pulls left out of the driveway with Theresa. Then they have 3 Go Pro cameras in the car. One behind Theresa pointing at their backs and two on the inner windshield pointing back at their fronts. The Corvette is not being towed. There is a camera truck driving in front of the Corvette shooting backwards at them. They are protectively boxed in front and rear the entire drive. All Gerry has to do is follow the lead camera truck. The shot of them following the tractor trailer was probably taken from the lead camera truck looking forward to simulate Gerrys point of view of the road ahead. Accidents can always happen, but this keeps the talent as safe as possible.

My sentiment exactly. His story hit too close to home to me for comfort. Thank goodness my wife made it and is with me watching the show. I can't continue watching this series. If remember reading correctly, the harbor pilots are one of the most dangerous jobs around and that the insurance companies won't even cover them. . The pilots don't actually touch the contols, they just advise speed and turning etc. Their knowledge of their particular ports is far greater than the captain. The end responsibility though is with the ship Master (captain) and the harbor pilot cannot exceed his/her rank.

Yes, I noticed it at one point in particular and thought the same thing. Maybe someone with expert videography skills will chime in. It seemed jittery. Just a guess, but could be a frame rate incompatibility when clips are married to the final edit in post production.

Yes! Even at 18, I would have been embarrassed to act as he did. I would have hated to be considered stingy. My Dad was a real cheapskate all his life. He had a good income, but it was just part of his DNA. He was wired that way. He never realized how many family members laughed at him behind his back. Capt. Jason has to do what he feels is best and safest for his vessel, but I would not have fired Adam. I think he was probably over reacting because of the incident that he saw earlier in his career. I think Adam would’ve been done with the mistakes and would turn out to be a fine crew member. Culver is the dead wood that needs to go. He could have easily cut someone’s fingers off having the winch set to fast instead of slow.

Imani wasted no time seeking out Bergie. Looked a little obvious to me. They had a very nice first date but other than respectfully pleasant banter, it seemed Imani wasn't really interested in hooking a hitch to his wagon that early in the experience. She played the field and unfortunately picked a dud. Now she sees the error of her ways. I don't buy it. We'll see. But, what I really wanted to post about is a question. I felt the vibe was off from the get-go with Bergies gal Taylor. Did anyone else think it was weird that when he immediately informed her of Imani's "pancake advance" that she was almost too okay with it? All that about "don't decide now" and "let is stew awhile" was almost too considerate. She didn't act like any girlfriend I've ever had. Am I off base here or did anyone feel as I did? Does she see an opportunity to switch couples? America didn't give her a lot of votes, but they love Bergie.

I feel the same about production. It was very mean to fabricate a creative edit just to upset Kay Kay and have her bring somebody back to the villa for drama. Guess that's the name of the game these days. Kassy is well on her way to discover who bedded Johnnie. And new detective Hannah was sharp to notice the hair color of New Hannah vs. Johnnie.
