Coming in on the heels of the delightful Kids Baking Championship, with the wonderful animal theme, this one seems terrible - the theme is Spring, but we get to see Minecraft cakes? Disney is releasing Snow White this week. At least that's closer to the theme.

I didn't recognize Ezra until I heard his voice. Salt and pepper hair and beard. He is aging magnificently, said this old lady.

It was to mimic a MineCraft character, which she explained in the beginning.

Two episodes in a row? Without tasting, they all looked like winners. These kids are 10 and 11 years old, for Petey's sake! I would have been happy had any of them won! Great season, great kids! Kardea is getting more comfortable in her role, which is also nice.

I wish he'd comb it the way nature intended. He looks (and often sounds) quite ridiculous. And someone should clue him in about those rants. They are not fun to watch. Well, except the recent take-down by Michael Steele!

Definitely mean at least on Rafi's part. He came off to me as smug, bordering on downright nasty - like 'I'm a professional, you're just a teacher.' Did not like Rafi's attitude.

Jesse most certainly DID remind the bakers that the win would be based on the final challenge, not what they'd done throughout the season. Smug Rafi rubbed me the wrong way all season. Had his candy decoration been more colorful and plentiful, and had he added a thatched roof, Rafi would have won, but he was too 'good' to ruin his creation with pre-made candy. Rolf simply went off the rails with modern, poor guy.

Rafi rubbed me the wrong way all season, so I'm happy he didn't finish first. All of the bakers made flavors they'd used before; Rolf raspberries, Natasha, peanut butter and chocolate . . . yet no judge mention that, even though they'd all been warned to use different flavors. Maybe I'm misremembering?

Serious question. Jonathan Lemire and Willie Geist will anchor the 9 a.m. hour. I'm in! So. If Mika and Joe's time on air is cut by one hour, does that mean they voluntarily took a huge pay cut, as did Rachel Maddow? I really hope this is the beginning of the end for Morning Joe. You know, they wouldn't even have to change the title - just show a giant cup of morning coffee!

Where is Jonathan going?

I was hoping to get some political perspective on the incident. I can see why they'd steer away from conspiracy theories, like Ketchup vs Blood, but my goodness, these are supposedly professional commentators who can give opinions and talk about the convention, Nikki Haley now speaking, Biden's decision to fly back to the White House . . . I could go on, but you can fill in the rest. Something IS fishy. Jonathan Lemire, Eugene Robinson, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Claire McCaskill, Jonathan Capehart, Elise Jordan, Eugene Daniels, my boyfriend Jon Meacham, even the pompous duo of Richard Haas and David Ignatius can all safely appear.

Gabe was actually featured on an episode of House Hunters. He was searching for a villa in Italy. For this show! Now that's cross promotion!

And NO Sonny, nor Carly! Yippeee! Answers the question who needs 'em? Not me!

Anyone else remember the final episode of The Middle? They showed each of the kids (and maybe the parents) all grown up and in their careers. Like the end of American Graffiti.

I would still like it if, at least once, all the bakers would be given the exact same ingredients and allowed to create whatever they wanted. Pretty please?

Gotta admit, I thought I watched intently, but didn't see any plot holes. ;) Just enjoy this show so very much. Like a lighter version of Moonlighting. Loved Margaret and the old biddies! ;)

And Jax, aka Candy Boy. Oh, and Taggert. I want Taggert back. For Trina to not even MENTION him is a sin. But GH is good at that, i.e. Lucky and Lulu. Oh, and Violet not asking about her mother. Do better, GH.

Call me crazy, but I wish there was at least one episode (I'd prefer all) where every baker gets the same ingredients. You could still have a theme. Or not. And nix the unfair twists.

Jesse speaks fluent French, so not sure what he was thinking. Maybe just to tease Nancy?

I've taken a break from my favorite political shows and started watching Perry Mason reruns. So fun to see future stars appear when they were just starting out. Last night, according to the guide, one of the stars was Anna Navarro, who was playing the murderer. Imagine my surprise when TPTB has a photo of Ana Navarro! Since the episode was from 1958, I knew it was not The View star!

When Oscar chose lemon, again, and Tasi selected her ever-present tropical flavors, it was Lila's to lose. I want to eat her chocolate cake!

True, but Alyssa has over and over again warned of his danger to democracy AND she has testified against him to the DOJ.

I've been watching season one on ABC and was looking forward to the Finale. ABC decided to break in multiple times to report results from the New Hampshire primary race. Where can I watch it in full. Please be kind to an old lady who is not technically savvy. ;)
