  1. I've not been so looking forward to an episode in forever. Even Rowena, who I normally loathe, made me smile with her 'Do we have to fix him?' I have a feeling Jensen is going to kill me dead with this one.
  2. Ahhh, Dean! So happy you're here. :) Be prepared folks. IMDb announced today they are shutting down their message boards. Here we come!
  3. If this is truly your first exposure to Hell's Kitchen I have only four words of advice when it comes to the preparation of risotto on this show: get used to it. While I have not seen every episode, I feel pretty secure in stating that there has never been a time when neither team screwed up risotto at least once. Until I tried to make it myself, I legit believed it must be the most difficult task in all of chefdom. (It's not.)
  4. The words "David Tennant" are enough to get me to watch, and I saw, loved and now ownBroadchurch. They have repeatedly said that there will be a different ending, and despite the first few episodes being pretty much verbatim, the ensuing episodes will be different. I followed the old thread on TWOP and can't even count how many people complained about the British accents being 'too much' (no matter how facile I find that idea). So, while BBC America and Netflix do offer the opportunity to see the original, clearly lots didn't. I'm a huge Tennant fan and as such, I'm thrilled that his talent will be exposed to a much wider audience.
  5. This seems like a good place for my first post. I'm new to the Doctor's world - discovered it via a Christmas marathon airing here in Canada. The 50th Anniversary is the first episode I ever saw and immediately recognized David from Broadchurch. After a couple of Matt Smith episodes during that marathon I decided I had to know more and made it my mission to watch from E1 of the Russell T. Davies era. I enjoyed 'Nine' very much, but now that I've caught up to the end of S7 I know that Ten will always be 'my doctor'. Lisin, you'll know that since I saw the 50th Anniversary show first, I heard David utter that 'evil line' before I even really knew what its significance was. By the time I got to the end of The End Of Time, I was a blubbering mess. "I don't want to go," indeed.
