  1. I think that Brittany's permasmile is also Duper's Delight, or possibly just the excitement of getting camera time. She also twitches when she says how she's the victim or she's helping Yazan become his best self. When she incites him, like she did on her ride to the airport, she not only smiles harder, but she turns her head away from the camera and blankly stares at nothing. Her summary of events to her friend on the beach from last week is still making my head spin. She's such a sick, selfish, delusional skank.
  2. Did Yazan earn enough money from barber-shop sweeping, cab driving and whatever else to pay for Brittany's return airfare already?
  3. Brittany actually explained that he smiles like that when he's angry. But, she never explained her own dumb, unattractive expression. It's worse in stereo.
  4. In her 2nd to last talking head, Deavan looked horrific without makeup. In the last talking head, she's in the same pink blouse, but made up (and lips more fiiled). The lack of continuity is more interesting than anything she's saying. But, we know she's saying, "It's all Jihoons fault!"
  5. Every one of Ari's statements is justification for her to flee Ethiopia with her baby.
  6. May-Lee-Za: We have a cordial relationship, but I don't respect her and she called the police on me when I reacted to her cheating son's violence. That's why I'm not going to be around when she's here.
  7. Brittany's social media celebrity is bigger in Jordan than here. She's still trash.
  8. He just said that he borrowed it from family and the bank. But, Sumit claimed that he helped or contributed. Proof: When his lips move, he's lying.
  9. Isn't the circumcision just a silly ritual for both their religions?
  10. They ganged up on Anfisa, who easily shot Pao down, and Chantel, who didn't engage. Loren was like Pao's yipping lapdog. She may even have painted her soles red, too. From the Pillow Talk of The Family Chantel, Loren is still petty, juvenile and mean for no reason toward Chantel. Her comments were all side-eyed or one-up of anything going on in the Chantel scenes, or she snickered at any comment Alexei made. For instance, Chantel and Pedro went on vacation to NYC, so Loren whined about how she missed living there. In retrospect, Loren probably harped on being the New Mom and Goat Yoga Devotee less than usual, because she was too busy brooding over Chantel's spinoff.
  11. David Poor acts like he has no connection to bariatric surgery. He's detached from the entire consultation and process. His and Emma's comments about Winter's losing weight are inerently defeatist. Also, Tom and Emma are clearly demonstrating that they are in a house that Tom owns. He plays host by serving oh-so British tea yet again. They discuss how she brought a blanket over, since he likes to keep his house cold too cold for her. But, doesn't he still lives at home? Tom's flaunting his weight loss, but he looks more like River, which is not a good look on anyone (except, maybe, Sideshow Bob).
  12. Loren is full-on full of herself and showing her mean girl self. Her comments about The Family Chantel are smug. Although she doesn't attack Chantel directly, she sneers at everything everyone else, especially Karen, does or says. And, since Chantel and Pedro are going to NYC, Loren has to assert how it's her city, as if she were a socialite or It Girl, yearning for her carefree, single life again.
  13. Loren feels that Ari is encroaching on her self-proclaimed role as First, Only and Best Mother of Newborn Ever territory, especially since Ari is also Jewish. Loren doesn't consider Anny as direct competition, because they're both commenting. Loren will flash her innate mean-girl persona if there's a preview or metion of The Family Chantal. She did it last week.
  14. The list from the man who gave a key to his mother's house, where he still lives By the way, they must be in Emma's house, with less hideous decor.
  15. But, if Ari's religion is so important to her, she should show the same respect to the man she professes to love so deeply about his religion. Instead, she completely demeans it to the point of mocking it. And, of course, they should have discussed religion, baptism, living arrangements before she arrived in Ethiopia. Then, maybe Bini could have offset his family with their joint decision.
  16. It's offensive. And, minimizing it to dunking the baby in water is ignorant - especially from a freelancing, world traveler writer.
