    Why doesn't Ari tell her Catholic mother that a baptism is just dunking the kid in water, and it doesn't hurt anyone? It's just silly, after all.

    I think that he actually has all the personality in the relationship. Maybe that's why it's doomed to fail. All we've seen about her is that she hates him and remains eternally livid that he cheated on her.

    Pretty sure he's the stepdad. He may have said so in an earlier episode, when she was packing for Korea. Also, I think that Elecia was a teen mom, and he said that he got married at Age 30.
