  1. I didn’t know where to put this as I don't see a friendship forum so I apologize in advance. Eight years ago, a former friend ended our 17 year friendship due to my behavior. He did it via email, blindsiding me. Twice I tried to make amends but I’m now sure that my responses likely came off as defensive. Since that time I’ve taken responsibility for my part but I’ve also beaten myself up about it. Eight years later, I was thinking of sending him a letter of sincere apology for my behavior. I am not looking to rekindle the friendship, as he made it clear that while he still considered me a friend, he didn’t see us socializing or hanging out. Now IMO, that’s not a friend but I digress. I just want to apologize properly like I should have done all those years ago and to take the steps to forgiving myself for my part in the demise of our friendship. Anyway, if you were him and you received my letter would you be pissed or would you appreciate the gesture?
  2. I'm just trying to figure out why the little bitch cried after the fact.
  3. Soon as I hit the submit button I remembered the adoption that fell through. From then on, Joan took no chances when adopting the rest.
  4. 5 kids adopted? Who wss the 5th, I only remember Christina, Christopher and the twins.
  5. Those two should have their own spinoff, they were cracking me up. Tommy's 'Who dis?' in heavy blaccent will just make me miss him even more....I won't be able to look at Joseph Sikora again without fangirling 'TOMMY!' Swoons. I thought Dre's girl was going to kill him. When he went back to get Ghost, I would have scooched over to the driver's side and left him, with me and Heaven being $100,000 richer. Loved Dre punching out Blanca, she's had it coming for a while now. Dre's mama was scary, anybody know the name of the actress?
  6. For me, it was Gumby calling Colin 'Headshot'.....don't know why, but that had me ki-king for a good 5 minutes and kept chuckling about it long after the show. I know it was a monologue but Eddie seemed pleasantly surprised at seeing Tracy, Chris and especially that fool Dave. Bill Cosby joke was funny af. Only disappointment was Joe Piscopo not being on, that would have been epic. Black Jeopardy would have been hilarious if Eddie had done his Shabazz K. Morton character instead of Velvet Jones, who is a 2 minute character at best. Shabazz would have blown the roof off the sucka! Check him out talking about Black History Minute: I liked the Mr. Robinson's sketch but figured the wig was due to Mr. Robinson finally becoming old. Loved him yelling at the neighbors for exactly what they excused him of, stealing their television! The Masked Singer bit was funny but all I could think of was the fact that Buckwheat had been killed all those years ago....who could forget "Oh Mr. Wheat?" followed by gunshots, lol. Home for the Holidays was hysterical, especially at the end when the white dude called Eddie 'Dad' and Eddie squinted his eyes...you know he was about to go off. The Elf sketch was good, Eddie did sound like Donkey didn't he? Finally, Lizzo? LIZZO! Claude have mercy, she was GOD! First of all, loved that outfit when she did Truth Hurts. And as a big girl I loved seeing a couple of heavy dancers, who along with Lizzo did...not...break a sweat! The guitar girl was funky and I loved her hair. Good as Hell was on fire, the lyrics smacked me in the face. Best SNL performance ever!
  7. Funny, but I didn’t care for last year’s AITF but loved The Jeffersons skits….this year, I loved the AITF skit but thought Good Times was terrible! First of all, The Politicians is one of my fave GT eppies. From James acting like a jerk towards Jimmy Pierson to the late, great Albert Reed as ‘Balderman’ (compliments of Willona) Davis, the episode was funny. For me, Viola Davis and Tiffany Haddish were the standouts. I love Andre Braugher but IMO his James dialect was too well spoken so the slang was a bit jarring. John Amos was a lovely surprise. However, he was wayyy thin from the last interview I saw him on, hope he isn’t sick. It was concerning the long gaps between his responses, maybe it has been a while since he’s been on the stage. Jay Pharoah was awful! And why was he talking like he was an actor in a kung-fu movie? Plus he was over exaggerating JJ’s hand mannerisms. Corrinne Foxx wasn’t that bad, but she didn’t have the umph that is Bernadette Stanis. Speaking of which, Bernadette, Jimmie and especially Ja’net DuBois looked great! Jimmie lost a lot of weight and I thought Ja’net was sickly since I haven’t seen her in years but when she came out, she came out stunning. Marisa Tomei is a great Edith. She was cracking me up with her running to and fro. I love Woody Harrelson's Archie but I'm having too many naughty thoughts looking at him due to harboring a serious crush on the man.
  8. Co-sign! She was totally out of line with her comments to Louise and went too far with her 'Roseanne would have done this/Roseanne did that' bullshit. If she'd get a fucking life of her own she wouldn't be so pathetic. Louise is way more generous than I would have been with her. Love Ben and Darlene back together and hope everyone works at the Lunch Box, them included.
