  1. I'm thinking this looks like the EF. So maybe somehow this is a time travel thing. Present Emma/Hook travel to future Henry in another realm. Not sure about the kiss but I think it may be a goodbye with Emma left behind while the boys go somewhere. Also why hasn't anyone mentioned how awful Emma's hair looks? I mean, I understand that she only had temporary extensions instead of her usual more permanent ones, but it just looks horrific.
  2. Tiana is a regular? Hm... We've had quite a few BTS shots of her with Colin and this is worrying me.
  3. They also seem to be doing a lot of indoor shooting. The spoilers that got people excited were ones from outdoor filming in Steveston. But aside from a park bench and some external shots of the police department, we really don't have much to go on.
  4. There was a guy in a suit on set earlier this season -- too lazy to dig up photos. But I think we only saw him one day. Although there hasn't been a lot of outdoor shooting so who knows what's going on. Maybe they all got sucked into some police precinct or something.
  5. Ratings thread is in Past Seasons/S06. I hope we can move it back once the season starts. It was a little talking in circles this summer, but we are quite the ratings gurus on this board. :) As for the moves, the Family Feud numbers are fine for the summer, but I'm assumed they wanted something better if they were moving Once to another slot. And as we mentioned, people may get burned out on game shows when the fall arrives. So who knows what ABC is thinking. It's a mess.
  6. I don't think that's a fair conparison. Robert notoriously gets out of media duties. He's the star, sure, but it also means he doesn't have to go on record with the media. So now that all falls in Colin and Lana to answer the questions addressed to the veteran cast. Frankly, I kind of see it as not professional on Robert's part for not selling this reboot in the media the way other members of the cast have to and he's leaving the heavy lifting to them to talk to the media about actors leaving and the future of the show. It's hard for Robert to comment on Emilie's departure and how it affects the series if he gets to skip media appearance after media appearance. But he's The Big Name and always has been so he can do that.
  7. Plus, these guys are at least three episodes into the new season. They're shooting season 7, they're in a season 7 mindset so why should they be rehashing episodes they filmed six months ago? And things happen when you're an actor. No one ever said we should be sensitive to Michael Raymond James's when the killed Neil. At the very least Jen, Ginny and Josh left voluntarily. Why does Colin have to rehash their departure every time he's in public when he and the rest of the creative team have moved on and have focused their efforts on season 7, which they've been filming for a month now?
  8. Because saying that will just remind people that they left a bunch of characters behind. It's better to look forward and talk about the future since they're promoting the future season, not the past season. That being said, the secrecy is a bit ridiculous. We have new characters and new actors and one of them can't even confirm who she's playing. We have no idea what's going on with the most popular couple on the show. We don't know the cursed name of the Evil Queen -- at least not beyond spoilers. I know it's early, but they need to give fans something.
  9. Gideon? Groan. I've been rewatching 5B and cheered when Belle went under a sleeping curse. Do not want. I wonder if Henry grows up 10 years with his travels but when he comes back to our realm, he returns in the same year he left. Wibbly wobbly timey wimey.
  10. Can't link to the photos because I'm on mobile, but did anyone else see the set photos yesterday of Lana in jeans? Is it wrong for me to actually like this new look on Regina? It feels weird to say I like it but I do.
  11. Nooo! I already have a few of your books on my Goodreads TBR list. Let me get through some of those first.
  12. They've already done a few novels based off the series. And Disney has been pretty successful with this Decendants franchise of theirs. I can see them trying to cash in on the pre-teen or teen market by doing this.
  13. What? Hm... maybe they're brining him in on occasion to do EF flashbacks or he's working now to help with the transition. Or perhaps his boobilicious portfolio didn't appeal to other show runners so he's back at Once.
  14. I think he was trying to argue that ratings alone don't reflect how many people are watching the show during a given week. What he's trying to do is inflate the numbers. Sure, the ratings say 3 million but it's really 8 million! Or something such as. The problem is that some viewers are better than others -- namely the ones who generate revenue. The ratings landscape is changing a lot and shows can't rely on Nielsens to keep them on the air, hence the Netflix deal. It's not just Once that has bled viewers this season but it's bleeding across the board. That being said, the ratings share is still important since the bleed is affecting everyone so comparing one show in a time slot to another is important still. But even that number went down for Once.
  15. Press usually get access to the screener about a week or two ahead of time. Press premieres are less often. Since season 4, I can only think of the LA premiere for Frozen and the 100th episode party. It's going to be quiet from now until mid-September. And even then, most of the smaller websites won't have new interviews -- they get content at Comic-Con that they use for preview pieces in September.
  16. I think Once will likely go lower but still be OK. The move to Friday is going to lower ratings expectations so between that and the money from Netflix, I'm sure they'll get a full season in. And yes, the fact that we're talking about fractionals is crazy. I listened to a podcast with Lea Thompson a few years ago. Caroline in the City got cancelled because of poor ratings -- they were pulling around a 14.0 in their final year.
  17. I hadn't even heard of Somewhere Between. I'm assuming it's getting bad ratings because it was bad and getting burned off in the summer like Still Star Crossed got burned off. But yeah, not good. In looking at some of the numbers, reruns were beating that mess. It gives an advantage to a 0.8 show like Once.
  18. The ratings landscape has changed dramatically in the past three years so it's not easy to use those numbers in comparison to Once today. If Wonderland had the numbers it had then this season, it would've been a definite renewal. One thing I noticed about that TV Line interview was that there was just no magic there. It was a bit awkward. And as much as I love Colin, an interview like that makes it painfully obvious that he doesn't have the same off screen chemistry with Lana that he had with some of the other cast that's now gone.
  19. To be fair, I think it was mentioned somewhere that the actors don't have scripts past the second episode. I'm sure they've been given a general outline from A&E but we know how reliable that could be.
  20. I think the Jolly Roger and Emma are going to be the flashback with the present being Captain Rogers and what his life is like now. And of course that just confirms that A&E probably aren't going to let go of this flashback stuff. Maybe it will be similar to the Zelena half season where they flashed back to how they got there. Or they have flashbacks with the new characters. But holy crap, I can't take another Regina flashback.
  21. With regards to his uniform, it will be interesting to see what they do with his wardrobe this year with Eduardo gone. As much as I loved the elaborate costumes, the everyday stuff was kind of bad. Killian wore the same Storybrooke costume for several seasons, Emma's was starting to go downhill, and I still don't think Eduardo knew how to dress a post-pregnancy body considering how dumpy Snow and Belle looked by the end. Reports are that Colon wasn't wearing guyliner, which will be disappointing but makes sense if he's a cop. And I didn't like the fit of the costume -- it seems a bit disheveled and not tailored like his other stuff. But again, maybe that fits the new version of Hook.
  22. Rogers? Is his first name Jolly? But yeah, those are hot pictures. I could get behind this.
  23. The show was in its final season this year with an abbreviated season and was on for four seasons. It may not be pulling Flash numbers but it did pretty well for a CW show in terms of ratings. And at its height, it was getting well over a million viewers.
  24. To be fair, I don't think most shows are banking on same- day ratings at this point.
  25. I saw that spoiler as Henry trying to steer Lucy away from whatever this curse is. As we saw in the finale flashback, the curse is dangerous for her to be involved with. So it would be that he knows there's a curse, it's cut him off from his family somehow, and he's become cynical and jaded because of that. So he's trying to keep Lucy safe by telling her it doesn't exist. He's giving her her best chance at life! Repeated season 1 theme! Meanwhile, you could have Regina, Rumple and Hook trying to find a way back to Henry while Emma stays behind to protect the Enchanted Forest and be the leader her people need. So while JMo is in one episode to dispatch the crew, we can watch their journey while she's off screen protecting everyone. Captain Swan stays intact. And the curse has caused the Enchanted Forest to age at a different rate, which would explain Henry's growth while others stay the same age. Of course all of this is based on the idea that I don't want another damn memory curse.
