  1. My first reaction to that last scene was "Yikes!" Otherwise, good show (what I saw when ABC wasn't breaking in). Loved the flashbacks and the goodbyes. I even had a couple of allergy attacks when Monica and Ned said their goodbyes. And speaking of Ned...those dimples of his could give Sonny's a run for their money. I will really miss Tracy and her snark. Don't know what's up with that silly nurse--I thought she was after Dillon. Is she crushing on Nathan now? Stupid.
  2. I really enjoyed all the flashbacks and seeing everyone as their younger selves. Sonny was quite a cutie back in the day. Didn't Luke once have a similar hallucination? At least Tracy didn't break into "I Did It My Way"...
  3. When did Skeleton Guy learn English? Last week he was just mimicking people that he ran across; this week he had a (short) conversation with Nick. Oh well, I guess he was a fast learner, like Diana was a fast ager (until she wasn't).
  4. Everything seemed rushed, but it still wasn't a bad finale. I had a feeling something would happen and nobody would be dead (except the bad guy). Even though some of the story lines were dropped or just forgotten, I'm glad they ended with the Grimms doing what Grimms do best, which is kick a little butt. And I'm glad that Nick ended up with Adalind (yes, I'm the one). Yes, she started as a really bad person, but she mellowed (some women who are the wild girls do that once they settle down and start a family). I always liked the actress, and the fact that her face showed actual emotions and expressions made me root for her over Eve/Juliette. Also, did Nick use the GD word? I didn't know that was allowed on non-cable...
  5. I thought this episode was really funny, especially Cam and Mitchell's part (and I usually find them, especially Cam, annoying). I could've watched the whole 30 minutes of them doped to the gills, stumbling through airports. I'm really curious how they made it through DFW without waking up. And getting Lily's name wrong every time had me laughing out loud. Poor Lucy... I also kind of liked the Rainer and Haley part, mostly because I'm a nerd and know Nathan Fillion actually DID have a birthday this week, so that was kind of fun. I like both characters, but I'm glad they backed away from the engagement because it's still a little icky to me that they're together, even though Rainer is pretty immature for his age.
  6. Jeez...drunk Alexis is back...for a minute anyway. I always like the character because she was one woman on the show who seemed to have it together and could handle anything. And I know, even the strongest people can break, but I'm just so tired of pathetic Alexis. After Sonny and Carly's argument, I just knew that flying glass would happen, and I was right. So predictable.
  7. Maybe Nick can use his stick to fix his friends?

    S03.E17: Duet

I've never seen this show before but had to watch because of the music. Was especially looking forward to Jesse L. Martin and Victor Garber--I have an old video tape of Godspell with Garber, and I saw Rent twenty years ago with Martin in it, so I had to watch. They didn't disappoint. Their scene also had the funniest lines: "Dads?" "You got a problem with that?" "No! I love musicals." I didn't know many of the other performers except for the Glee people, but whoever the older man was who sang at the piano was, he was great!
  9. I kept thinking Olivia was just ACTING scared so she could trick Carly and get away, but it didn't happen. It sure wasn't the Liv we've been seeing for the last month or so. Carly said Morgan was "my baby"...isn't Joss younger? Or are all children their parents' babies no matter the age? My mother always kept us all separate--the youngest, the middle, #1, #2, etc.
  10. Poor Kevin...the reviewer thought he was 40!
  11. So glad Beth got her good-bye. And Opie! Still not sure how the show went on after Kevin blew it off, but okay... Don't want to watch next week--but I will.
  12. I think Rosalee hit a rock and it made the oil leak out of her car, and that's what got the tree creature's attention. Maybe the vine thing got here like kudzu did...brought over as an ornamental vine and then took over. Sure hope Portland isn't soon full of those things like the southeast US is full of kudzu. Good episode...I actually felt a little sorry for the ecowarrior tree. It was only trying to protect its territory. I liked the little moments of comedy, too, like when the creature was taken care of (they thought) and everyone was all, "Okay, nothing more to do here" and split for the car. And deciding to paint the ceiling at the end...I would, too.
  13. And the ducks! I was waiting for the ducks, kind of thought Randall might have brought them to the hospital (I know, not very sanitary), but having them cross the road was perfect, a sign.
  14. Oh man, ugly crying. The breathing technique, meeting his mother at the end...uh oh, here I go again. One question: where was the tree with Jack's ashes? They'd already passed a billboard for the Peabody in Memphis, so they took him down south?
  15. I'm also kind of tired of the way Jane hyperventilates (I guess), blowing her lips in and out. It looks weird every time she does that.
  16. Loved tonight's show...a little different than usual but all the pairings made it fun to watch. And Hank falling in love with himself was the best! Also liked the kidnaping gone wrong which was also funny (but probably not to the hapless kidnapper). A little Ransom of Red Chief going on there.
  17. Whoever does the casting for this show is really good. Those teenage siblings actually look like they could grow up to be the present day Big 3. Will Kevin get fined for leaving his play like that? A friend who studies theater once told me that actors who forget lines or otherwise mess up during a performance get fined. Loved Kevin being there (finally) for his brother, but Katie Couric is gonna really let him have it in his next nightmare.
  18. So Jason steals this big ass wooden boat model and takes it with him into the local diner? How sneaky...
  19. At least Toby got some before collapsing...
  20. I am so tired of the wallowing of these elderly babies. I'm not an ageist; in fact, I'm older than both Sonny and Alexis, but I just want to slap the crap out of both of them. Maybe when they were handing out empathy, I was somewhere else. Pull yourselves together and move on...geez.
  21. Bad Janet was a hoot. Shawn? Can't believe I've gotta wait until January to find out what happens next!
  22. Valerie doesn't shower after a workout before going into a public place? Ick. Tired of Alexis' pity party...she used to be such a strong character even through all of her bad choices in men. I just want to slap her. Also want to slap Franco--he is way too clingy. That's not an attractive trait, especially for someone his age. Did like Finn and Hayden, they're kinda cute together. And no Sonny...there's a plus for the day.
  23. Dead Morgan is pretty funny, but not as funny as Dead Logan was. Dead Morgan just looks like he needs to get back to the haunted house where he's working as a ghoul, while Dead Logan, with the flashlight in the face, was just bargain basement hilarious.
  24. Well, that was new...Ava smashing already smashed glassware!
  25. In the time between the guy banging on Paul's door and the door being answered, Paul had time to tie up and gag Tracy? She didn't resist and knock things over that the guy could've heard? Or even shouted again? And he took off his jacket and put on a robe (I guess)? Boy, that Paul is speedy!
