  1. My favorite part of yesterday's show was Maxie eyeballing Curtis' backside as he walked away
  2. Which reminds me--are they ever going to do anything for Stuart Damon's passing? I know his character died years ago, but he was such an important part of the show for so long. That one minute montage they did after the show a while back was just sort of pathetic.
  3. The music was so loud I couldn’t understand what the singer was singing. Maybe I need closed captioning if he’s back tomorrow.
  4. If Jane Elliott was still around, she could point out that the Elvis movie she costarred in in 1969 (Change of Habit) had an autistic child character. I don't think they totally understood it and they got a lot wrong, but it was called by name. I was surprised when I saw the movie not too long ago.
  5. Since my sisters and I are the last of one side of our family, we’ve had the “honor” of arranging funerals for both my mother and her sister, my aunt. I think my mother was buried with her wedding and engagement rings and a watch (and also a Troy Aikman beanie, but that’s another story). I don’t recall having any jewelry returned to us and we probably didn’t expect it since we were new to the funeral biz. And…Theo is a Gray Roger!!? What a shocker!
  6. Well, that was anti-climactic (in a manner of speaking). And why would they want to spend their wedding night in the bed of the (supposed) dead husband? Yuk.
  7. Well, looks like yelling, nasty Sonny is back; I was hoping he might have retained just a smidgen of Mike's nicer qualities. Bummer. And apparently the NF fire department are *kittycats* if they couldn't get in the open back door but Sonny could get out. Stupid.
  8. Spencer is a terrible host, since it sounded like most of the partygoers were outside and he stayed indoors with just his three townie friends. Geez, Jax, put the phone in your pocket or hide it in Moss--how obvious can you be?
  9. Nice little Stuart Damon montage at the end, but is that all they’re going to do for him? (just watched the old Cinderella over the weekend, and he was such a handsome man)
  10. Tired of Nixon Falls. Do the writers, or the actor, think that because he won an Emmy for last year's dying father story, that lightening will strike twice? Only now it's dying BFF (that he's only known for a few months). Borrrred......
  11. Valentin's "I can barely tolerate you now, darling" to Anna was so cute, and her laughing like she didn't expect that. That's all I got out of the episode...
  12. When she suddenly announced a wedding anniversary when no one knew she was married, and then her character became pregnant, I wondered if something was going on. Why all the secrecy?
  13. Why are Joss and Trina going to pick Jax up? Didn't he fly up there or something?
  14. As an art major who could never quite master the crafty stuff, the broken snowglobes after all that work just about killed me. Looks like we'll get a different family's story next week, but I want to see more of Nicky. Maybe if they go to the dog park, Sally the animal lover, will be there. I know that's too much of a coincidence, but that's the story I would write!
  15. So happy to see Zander, even if he is a ghost. I got hooked on the Zander/Emily story way back when and was so sad when he turned bad and got himself killed. The actor is really good, wonder why he isn't in more stuff? Loved the gray hair, but I never knew that you kept aging in the afterlife. I was kind of hoping to revert to my younger, fresher self after I'm gone! Oh well...
  16. The Sonny story is so insulting. There are movies and TV shows that have gotten criticized for using the "white savior" trope, and here comes GH doing it, too. Do they not know that it's 2021?
  17. I liked it, too, and little Wiley doing his wave at Nina was very cute.
  18. I loved Zander and was really upset when they turned him bad and had him killed (but he had a great death scene). Maybe he'll be a ghost visiting the son he never knew. Whatever the reason he's back, I'll watch because he was fascinating character and a really good actor.
  19. Alexis used to be my favorite character--she took no crap from anyone and could stand up for herself. I am so sick of this pathetic, weepy, sloppy drunk Alexis. Please send her away--rehab, jail, I don't care. What's wrong with Britt? I hope it's just reaction to her standoff with Peter because I don't want another character suffering some awful medical condition. I still enjoy Valentin. His expressions are so good, you know just what he's thinking.
  20. I agree that Michael and Chase should never be shirtless next to each other. Michael isn’t fat or anything, but he’s not put together like Chase is. My my... Like Chase, I thought for a minute that Michael was going to kiss him, and I thought, “Well, well, I did NOT see the story going in this direction”. And then it didn’t, and I was a little disappointed.
  21. Oh, OK. When they were on the phone at the beginning, I thought she was saying goodbye after a visit home. Thought I had missed something.
  22. Why didn't they show this on Thursday, when it was actually Thanksgiving, instead of an old Christmas episode? Anyway, I thought it wasn't bad today. A little teary at the Dante and Laura scenes, and I can't stop watching the new Nicholas. Such an interesting face. And when did Tracy come home? I must have missed a day last week because I don't remember seeing her until today. Anytime she's on, I'm glued to the screen (and I wish I had her hair, especially that pretty silver color it's become).
  23. I know! Who starts a speech at minutes before the hour? Weird scheduling.
  24. I almost skipped this episode because I thought it'd be all Afternoon Special hokiness, but it was pretty interesting. I actually learned a few things, so even a history buff with history buff parents can learn new things! It was a little preachy, but I have to admit, I got a little teary when the two girls came outside with their I Voted stickers. Guess I'm a sucker for sweetly sentimental stories.
