Yeah, but I'm guessing when this series ends, there's not going to be many left.

Unless he was playing a long game and is totally faking it.

The show kind of cheated a little there. In the opening monologue, the narration said the Skeksis came from the stars and gave the Aughra the whatever the thing is while they tooled with the crystal.
Now I'm depressed because I know they won't be able to do it for another 1000 years.

I agree that it isn't good for the league. I also kind of hope it does blow up in the league's face. The product is poor, officials can't actually call a game without stopping to check every 45 seconds, and organizations treat players like garbage.

The Chamberlain is such a drama queen.
I've always been rather good with voices - I'm amazed at this cast.

I noted the mystic at the tree called the Hunter his 'dark half', which is the first reference I think they've made about it so far.

We first come across Aughra in her observatory. It is here that Jen is given the missing shard of the Crystal Later in the movie, she goes to the Palace where she is then imprisioned.
Thank God I'm not the only one. The amount of times I have caught myself holding my braht or gasping is ridiculous for a show involving puppets. I have 2 episodes to go and I feel my emotions are gonna be tested big time.
I was cheering when they defeated the Hunter. Then I had to take a break after he popped up and snatched Rian away.
Related - I can barely make it through "The Way We Weren't" when Pilot says "I wanted so desperately to see the stars."
I actually like the plot device of dreamcast because we don't have to waste time with no one believing Rian.

To me it seems unlikely that the country collectively just became lazy and gluttonous at the same historical time. It's not like people in the 60s were all so into healthy eating and living and exercising. So I really do think there must be things in the outside world now that makes it easier to weigh moreso those people back then would have been heavier too.
They smoked a shit ton too.

I'm getting a little over Seladon's tantrums.
Isn't Aughra imprisoned in the movie? I forgot what happened.
I'm still having a tough time seeing how the Gefling are going to extract any victory out of this.
I'm impressed with the queen standing up to the Skesis though.
I'm way way way too emotional over this show.

Well, that's that.

I certainly agree that people should eat better. My colleague goes out to lunch way too much and can afford to bring his own lunch. He knows it, but he's just lazy.
That's not the case for a lot of people. You're not going to buy peaches at two dollars a pound for a 5 person family even if you have access to a good grocery store.

Fuck Joe Walsh.
Sorry if this doesn’t add to nor elevate the conversation, but no. He doesn’t get a pass for being a Conservative no Trumper. I haven’t heard a single policy proposal that would separate him from Trump so far during this interview. Haven’t heard any policy proposals from him, actually. He said Trump is a conman and that’s pretty much it. He did indicate that he now believes global warming exists, or at the very least, acknowledges that it’s real. I think I heard him say that, anyway.
Not only that but he literally said his rhetoric led to Trump. But fuck you again because you also said you voted for him for the SCOTUS seat and sold out the country.

I didn't know anything about the interview guest, but I got nothing out of that.
Here's the thing - people get to protest whatever they want. You don't have to like it. Complaining about it just comes off as condescending.
And - if you don't want to be touched, you don't have to be. You can be pissed about it. Sure, getting your hair touched isn't the same as getting beaten up, but you still don't have to like it.
But now that you all provided context, this woman seems like a shit.

I don't think so. Gruden is calling the shots.
Brown is going to be hazed so hard is he drops a catch though.

I'm still creeped out after E 2 where the scientist got his eye ripped out.

Oh I hope so. There was another show that did that I can't remember that was on Starz I think.

Lucifer flipped that one with the nudist colony/resort for their last season. It was very funny.

You'd think maybe Luck would just retire, then unretire and be an FA.

Not that giving up 10 points is bad but there were a few occasions I saw where the Bears could have got a stop and have up wide open 20+ yard completions where they could extend the drive and eat clock.
This happens all the time though. The first two weeks are mostly garbage because no one plays in the preseason. You'd think teams wouldn't want to shit the bed in the first week. Especially a divisional game.

I think this was especially egregious with Luck. Manning and Aikman also were hammered in their first year but there was a development plan in place as hindsight ss shown. This is now like Carr with Houston who got sacked like 85 times a game for 50 years. And just because that's how it's been isn't really an excuse not to do better. You're drafting what you hope is a 10+ year player and investing tens of millions and then just let him get beat up just because.

I think they have the right idea in casting 'unknown' actors. (To Americans).
-
Some obvious Casanova on Facebook snarked about the show being a '90210 cast,' and the WOT FB snapped back that the actor was in his 40s which is basically Lan's age in the book.
I always thought Lan had kind of a worn out look so I hope they can get something like that.

My main guess would be the Aish would be strip mining the planets for resources. They only explored a sliver of the planet before Starbuck got it blowed up.

I am wondering if the other Skeksis know who their mystic is.
They are doing a good job injecting in some humor - 'which princess is this? I don't know.'
