I was rewatching the Lorna reveal, he was amazing in that storyline.

Stephen Schnetzer (Cass) will be reprising his first soap role in daytime as Steve Olson (Addie Horton's Son, Julie's Brother, and Hope Williams Brady's Half Brother) on Days of our Lives in December , it will be for the memorial of Doug Williams (Bill Hayes passed away in real life at 99) Stephen played the character from 1978-1980 , his character was part a schemer and thief. Stephen was the last actor to play the character .

So I ventured out and purchased Vicky and Jake edits from 1995 (starting at Ryan's death) and to 1999 and while there are some really bad storyline ideas, what strikes me is just how rich the dynamic was on this show, the acting was top tier and the cast interactions alone stand out like a shining star. it shows that the audiences truly grew fickle around the mid 90's, with reality tv and "shock" tv coming into play. My least favorite part of what I'm watching is RKK as Bobby Reno/Shane Roberts, but while I dislike the actor, even I can be unbiased and say , the character threw a lot of storylines into the atmosphere. I'm posting clips , and it's amazing seeing and hearing the love people still have for the show, It's renewed my love.

This was so sad when I heard about this, I care give for one of her high school class mates, we watch a lot of Turner Classic Movies', and whenever Barbara pops up in a film, she mentions they went school together in Santa Barbara, and how nice she was .

I loved the chemistry between Kiberd and Mattson, and despite Janet's past, Robin played Janet's redemption wonderfully and I loved them as a couple, until the writers first backburned them, and then decided to have Janet lose it again. I quit watching after they left. I preferred Robin's version of Janet over Kate, but I don't deny Kate is a very talented actress too, I just loathed how the writers trashed all the character development that had happened with Janet and threw it away for camp and Janet would never have killed Trevor.

Kristian had already signed a contract in 1994 upon her return, but they are right that she did not like RKK, he treated her badly, and she heard and saw some things with younger female cast members (not just his future wife Miriam Parrish) that concerned her and she went to bat for them, I believe Rinna backed her up. Kristian then campaigned to bring PR back, and then convinced Peter who was reluctant at first, he spoke about this upon his return in 95 in a few interviews he did and how much he appreciated Kristian for that. :)

As someone who has loved Bo and Hope since 1983, I'm truly disappointed in PR's actions. He's had how many years to act in other roles and make money? But he waits until DOOL approaches him to comeback, and then chooses to makes several demands, one including a heavy paycheck. I get that it's a business, but as I said above, he had years to act in other roles. I'm happy Kristian will be there to pay tribute to Bill, and have scenes with her onscreen family .

I can see you aren't a fan of Kristian's, but as a fan I've never heard she was against portraying a Grandmother. We can agree to disagree on the subject. As for the show, I think Peter and Kristian are doing a great job with the material they've been given, that said, the writing , direction, and general respect for the rich history that was valued in the heyday of DOOL will never be again, which by this viewers standards is a big detraction. That being said, I'm here for Kristian and Peter and Bo and Hope, so I'm going to relish every moment of it.

When Bo discovered Victor was his Father in 1986 (great reveal btw) Bo was the black sheep of The family, Shawn had always favored Roman& Bo was always trying to make Shawn Proud. When the reveal happened, Kim wasn’t sure if Andrew was Shane or Victors & Victor was gunning for the baby , he also was trying to destroy Shawn’s Business so Caroline would Turn to him. Bo made a bargain with Victor to live in his home & he’d acknowledge him as his Father. But Bo was working with Shane secretly to take Victor down, but in time Victors praise of Bo started to shift his opinion & he started to scare Hope because he was defending Victor & covering up some of his crimes , something Bo would never do. In 87 to tie up Bo & Hope’s story, Victor sacrificed his relationship with Bo & faked tests to say he couldn’t be Bo’s Father, he knew deep down his son wanted to be a Brady & he wanted Bo to be Happy. Then 1990 happened & Victor was ruthless as ever & changed his mind. I have this storyline on my tik tok page , they should show some of these scenes on the current show in context to Bo’s behavior. There is an amazing scene between Alice & Bo where she tells him exactly who he is , it’s a beautiful scene. Regarding the current storyline, I’m not sure if it’s Peter’s acting choice, but his dialogue is very stilted, if it’s an acting choice for the character then I can possibly see what he’s doing … I love seeing Kristian/Hope, and speaking of Hope , she was always onto Megan’s “nice act” so I’m hoping they hone in on old School Hope’s determination & detective skills.
